I have a keyless entry install in my vehicle but bought it second hand without the remote. tried to open the box like what you did but did not find the learn button. do you know how to reset the box itself? planning to buy the keyfob only if this is possible. thanks!
It took me 3 days to install and set up my chinese car alarm. The instruction attached in the box is too simple to understand...btw mine is 13 pins unit. And thank god, it worked well up until now.
If someone wants to steal your car they either steal your keys or use a key catcher so when you enter your car it’s automatically stored on their device. Nothing to do with what he’s referring to.

what model number is on the brain under the driver dash?
Not worth it they are so cheap for whole system

Mine also does not have a button instead it has 4 unlabelled jumpers
