i stopped wondering wether i like the studio released versions of all her songs or their rough drafts. i told myself these are all each different from their final form. because they really. her "rough drafts" are better than many artist making it on top of the billboard charts.. and the Grammy's WISH they can categorize her. you can't hold a candle to this greatness. Her albums will last the tests of time, and even though i know why people don't recognize it now, ill continue to listen to each released/unreleased song like it was her last.
sdjvn akcnkv Lorde actually did listen to Born To Die while she was writing Pure Heroin....and she did draw inspirations from it too...she said it her self.
+Davon Fryar-Frazier - apparently, as this version of born to die sounds exactly like lorde. lana now sounds almost nothing like this and generally, lana's more orchestral with less prominent percussion and in her earlier work, more hip hoppy elements, whereas lorde has more of an electronic sound
Actually lorde dissed lana del rey because she said sais (And i quote) "I was listening to that lana del rey record and thought how bad of an influence she is, all this shirt tugging and i'm nothing without you stuff is really bad for young girls to be hearing, even young people in general." So Lorde did noy draw influence from her.
She made about 100 versions of Born To Die before choosing the final version. I'm not even joking.

Bullshit
@@jouflow stay mad & butthurt, troll
You had a vision!
It's cool because it has the same vocals but just different production.
yes, but there are some other versions that have different Vox
I love the album version more dramatic and the emotion in it is bittersweet and real
This is the first demo of Born to Die :)
Every version of that song is masterpiece 😍 thanks Lana for that
in a very rough early demo. should be in youtube somewhere. heard it once.
Look this up:
Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (Live) Acoustic version by CharlieOL78
1:37 I actually liked this
sounds like she was still adapting to her new style of singing, even the final born to die album still sounds kinda lizzy grant ish
I think she only said that in a live show :P wish it was on the album , though
Said what live,
Beautiful!
sounds like a song from lorde
Ricardo Xavier Lana came first!
Davon Fryar-Frazier i know, but that's not the point. i'm just saying it reminded me of a song from lorde because of its sonority

sometimes i feel like those versions are fan made and fake sometimes it's the same song slowed down or on speed up with different bass that's all
kate olsen it’s not fan made. It’s a real demo.
That was only live I guess. But I bet there's a studio version tucked away somewhere ;)
Explat
thanks *-*
More songs of lana pls!
omg it gives me Stranger Things vibe
How lol
It might be because if the synths right?
lana del rey ft daft punk
this most definitely does not sound anything like daft punk nor a daft punk type of beat.
@@digitalgf it was a joke......

@@digitalgf you must be fun at parties ;)
still waiting for the punch line.
