I think the problem is that her live performances fail to impress people. She does write great songs but her voice just does not register. That and she does not have the commercial and management powers like other pop stars that are very dependent on controversy (and thus stays in the spot light).

Idk this song scares me . I can feel the pressure, the fear, the sadness of it. The girl is transfixed and passionate and can't do nothing to change the bad attitude of her lover. And at the end, the deadly love of her bad boy kills her and him, holds her metaphorically dead body desperate and regretted.
i can’t explain the nostalgia this song gives me 10 years later - the music, the lyrics are just written so beautifully and honestly imo this song was just the beginning of a whole new music genre
Yeah, feels home or what I listen to when I feel too much happiness, it sets me back to a balanced state, or not so balanced sometimes but still, feels home
the lamb sauce it’s like every time i listen to this song it’s like i’m being born again and then end is like dying and then if i listen to the song over and over , well you get it
Today hits 10 years of born to die tittle track being released. The whole album has been on the billboard top 200 for more than 400+ weeks. This album was a success and received great results from music critics. 10 years later, Lana has released 2 new albums under 1 year & was rewarded for Artist of the Decade by Variety. This women has influenced people by doing poetry (writing) , is the biggest impact in the music industry, etc. Happy 10th year release date Born To Die!! Make sure to stream her lastest albums Blue Banisters and Chemtrails Over The Country Club. Update: HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY BTD (album)
Also (in my opinion) Thunder , The Best American Record, Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For A Women Like Me To Have - But I have It, Freak, Art Deco, The Blackest Day & Yosemite is some of her best songs.
i remember the first time i have haired this album i was blown away ,i couldn't stop listen to it in loops again and again ...she is a geniuses song writer and between Adele and Amy winehouse she mange to rise to a star artist she is amazing
I listened to her so many times when people would mention her and I literally remember watching this video and just not liking it. Well, that has certainly changed. I don’t really think I lived enough life or had the emotional maturity to understand/I didn’t have the appreciation for this type of thematic music
The fact that Lana doesn’t have Grammy proves that Grammy is builshit and it is only about politics , tolerance and popularity. Grammy isn’t about music and art
so you've come to that conclusion now? just one example: Thriller sold 24 million copies in the u.s. and about 60 million worldwide (other claims are lies). it got 8 grammys. the best album of all time, Depeche Mode's Music For The Masses, sold 2 million in the states and about 5 million worldwide. not one single award.
Idc what anyone says. This song - and the Born To Die era in general was a cultural RESET. She opened the doors for so many artists. She deserves wayyy more recognition than she gets.
Guys imagine that a luxurious but melancholic setting, a vintage car speeding down an empty, misty road at night, its headlights cutting through the darkness, while the girl gazes out of the window, lost in her own thoughts of love and loss! This song is like a dream!!!🖤
A couple of days ago, she was listed as one of the five people who shaped the decade! Congratulations Lana, thank you for creating a whole new genre, and for inspiring many other artists out there. There is only one Lana! Much love, and to many more years of you achieving success!
She deserves... Myb she doesn't have much social media attention like Miley,Ari,Cardi, Billie.. but she's one of the most talented artist of our generation

Good old days. Music nowadays is mostly shit (not all of them). Miss that golden era so much.
Nicki and Demi too
Adele too
Don't forget Adele 😇
Thoes were the good all times 🤧
Idk this song scares me . I can feel the pressure, the fear, the sadness of it. The girl is transfixed and passionate and can't do nothing to change the bad attitude of her lover. And at the end, the deadly love of her bad boy kills her and him, holds her metaphorically dead body desperate and regretted.
Searched for this song after a fight w my bf to cry, but this comment really hit me hard.
Ur right lol aha. Good perception.
It should scare u.
I MADE A VIDEO PLAYING THIS SONG ON THE PIANO, WATCH IN MY CHANNEL!
you can feel it bc it’s real. IT IS REAL. Not like that billie’s shit or lauv’s shit
There's a point in the song that sends me to heaven 3:49

i can’t explain the nostalgia this song gives me 10 years later - the music, the lyrics are just written so beautifully and honestly imo this song was just the beginning of a whole new music genre

how painful it is to know that there are people out there that have never heard about Lana del Rey. Lana bless them
This music is not for everyone.
I just stumbled across her recently and I’m obsessed with this whole album
she's one of the most famous singers of our time, most people know her
Well we don’t have radios as simple as that. Wake up. !!!
Get a life bitch!!! We don’t have radios wake up
How can she be this aesthetic when aesthetic isn't even invented
Sorry im still not over streaming her first record yet. 😭
I’m not going to stream her latest albums. They are horrible. Best stream her early works.
@@vpa4705 I used to hate NFR, but then I learned to love it.
i remember the first time i have haired this album i was blown away ,i couldn't stop listen to it in loops again and again ...she is a geniuses song writer and between Adele and Amy winehouse she mange to rise to a star artist she is amazing

I remember This was the song/music video that made fall in LOVE with Lana. I have been a fan ever since.
crazy how a song that used to mean nothing to you can shake you to your core later in life
what happened?
That was deep
same, my father used to play this and listening to this a decade later at 17 suddenly hits
I listened to her so many times when people would mention her and I literally remember watching this video and just not liking it. Well, that has certainly changed. I don’t really think I lived enough life or had the emotional maturity to understand/I didn’t have the appreciation for this type of thematic music
You took the words right out of my mouth 😔
The fact that Lana doesn’t have Grammy proves that Grammy is builshit and it is only about politics , tolerance and popularity.
Grammy isn’t about music and art
so you've come to that conclusion now? just one example: Thriller sold 24 million copies in the u.s. and about 60 million worldwide (other claims are lies). it got 8 grammys. the best album of all time, Depeche Mode's Music For The Masses, sold 2 million in the states and about 5 million worldwide. not one single award.
AMEN
thank YOU
1002anna ofc mj won a grammy. and whoever that other guy didnt

Idc what anyone says. This song - and the Born To Die era in general was a cultural RESET. She opened the doors for so many artists. She deserves wayyy more recognition than she gets.
She made Taylor Swift switch up her style. Big influence
@@chrisr5909 Why do people like to drag Taylor into everything? Praise the singer you love without having to paint everyone else out as unoriginal.
@@hayazeedan oh calm down don’t get in a uproar
Biggest selling artist in years ,How much more recognition does she need ?
She got it all in here
Guys imagine that a luxurious but melancholic setting, a vintage car speeding down an empty, misty road at night, its headlights cutting through the darkness, while the girl gazes out of the window, lost in her own thoughts of love and loss!
This song is like a dream!!!🖤

A couple of days ago, she was listed as one of the five people who shaped the decade! Congratulations Lana, thank you for creating a whole new genre, and for inspiring many other artists out there. There is only one Lana! Much love, and to many more years of you achieving success!

How can she make smoking look healthy, death seem so happy, and being crazy, normal!
Edit: thanks for 20k!
