Maybe point was to heat it with warmth of your hands. Cause brass and alluminum expand at different rate. Also might help disasemble heart itself. But this is just a theory
OMG I figured it out !. it is a Heart, you will have to kiss and blow air into the gap, thus the internal air suction releases and the silver heart falls out. Therefore " No Forces required。” I bet for the internal heart, if you plug your finger on one side of the heart, and blow through the other side cause the internal presure to build up, might help with the rest of the step." that could explain the heavy brass outside and the superlightweight alloy inside... great thinking so technically he just needed to hold it is his hand or combine it with what another said 'blowing' warm breath
The heart itself should get apart easy by holding it between you palms and turning... At least a similar one I have does so... Same way back, align them and turn it back together.
humm....not sure......if the heart in brass is correcly made and with short tolerance.....when you put the alu heart....the air go away and the alu heart is hold by "succion"......when the guy knock on the table...the air coming inside and gently the alu heart out.....it's my think....and sorry for my bad english....
As others pointed out, it could have been heat - brass and aluminum expand at different rates when heated. He probably had to heat the outer layer with something. He either generated enough heat by holding it or spinning it repeatedly against cloth (doubtfully) or just found an angle that allowed use of brute force through imprecision of manufacturing, or both.
@@jwhite5008 But if any were to expand, wouldn't that just make it more difficult to remove? Whether it being the brass or the Aluminium, they would just stick closer to each other and make it impossible to remove, right? Just like those big screws in boats, where they heat the screw so that they won't get out.
@Ngankee How, You do have a point, however given its size and shape I believe that the whole thing expands outwards much faster than its edges expand inwards wedging itself. But I can't be sure without testing or careful calculations
