Dylan Scott's 'An Old Memory' was released on Aug. 16, 2019. It includes seven Keith Whitley covers, including a song with Lorrie Morgan, Whitley's widow.

Keith Whitley wasn’t around long but I still consider him a legend he was one of my mothers favorite singers I remember listening to his music with her growing up I still love it

I’ll NEVER forget the moment I learned he was gone. If you don’t know who Keith Whitley is you don’t know country. I kept 3 autographed pics from my early years......Johnny Cash, (yes I did); Tanya Tucker and THE MAN......KEITH WHITLEY. Fell in love with my husband because he played KW’s CD on our very first date. I knew I was in love. His songs are timeless, forever etched in so many memories both happy and sad. Raised on Whitley.....I miss him. No one could ever take his place. There is and was only ONE WHITLEY. We closed our eyes for but a minute....and he was gone.....😢

Dylan played at the 30 year anniversary of Keith's death at the CMHOF 2019. I briefly met him. He sang An Old Memory and Me. I was in the band that night. I played with Whitley for 8 years.

Keith's life and career nearly mirrored that of Hank Williams, yet it seems as if his legacy was buried with him by Nashville.... And one thing I can say for certain is that from Hank to Patsy to Keith, the best died young....

Uncle Russell fell down hit his head on wood was bleeding I freaked out averyone I remember that story that was the truth his wife saw his head Uncle Russell was okay though I understand he's not my real Uncle but his family's there my friends and I care about averyone and wen I do talk I tell them to tell averyone I said hi because they was helping me out wen I was driving I worked four gas and was given home meals at that time awhile ago and drinks to I understand stand I was drinking whisky but I was not doing it to get drunk just to take the edge off because my body is shot and hurts and not getting better ok I'm not addicted to drinking averyone
I new his family good people was married to his cousin he just made poor choices in life
