A lot of people came up to me in the Kyiv city center wanting free beer and pizza. So i got them beer and pizza at the bar for $5-10 and got to practice Russian for 2 hours. Then started making more social connections and learning more about Kyiv. Takes some time but eventually you'll be exposed to people who value you besides free things. So let go of your ego in the beginning and think of it as a small investment.. Maybe you'll find some decent social circle along the way. Not too difficult imo. But I don't think Ukraine is a cold approach place. Try Asia maybe? BTW this took awhile so try to stay at least 6 months and have something else to preoccupy yourself with like work, the SkyFitness gym, and learning Russian.

I met my Ukrainian girlfriend on a dating app before the war. In America dating apps are trash. When I tried dating apps in Eastern Europe it was completely different. They wanted me to approach as well, joked about it etc. but I met my girlfriend through Bumble so I had no need to. I agree that day game can be done terribly (read using memorised lines) however if one is having genuine conversations, is honest and open with their intentions and is present in the moment I don't see a problem - Social Animal is the gold standard for this.

So what is a high value guy? You could be an American guy about 50 who is journeyman truck driver making 120k a year or a young 25 year old American guy with a bachelor's degree working as a public school teacher making only 65k.
Depends on where you live though and your overall expenses. 120K a year in, say, the NYC -area aint gonna get you very far. Especially if you've got lots of bills and debt. But 65k in an average/low cost of living place? Including many quite normal suburbs? That can be pretty decent income, especially if you don't spend much and don't have much debt. But I'd think a 25 year old teacher isnt making 65k in those areas, it has to be less. Maybe in high cost of living areas, but again.....

Connor I will say when I visited Kiev, I had to scale down my Tinder profile, and other Social media. Women would see that I travel the world a lot and the only Women I attracted were the "professional daters" offering their services. I felt like if I showed I have a great life, I attracted the wrong type of woman, and if I hid my worth, I couldn't attract any women. Navigating the Ukrainian dating minefield is very complicated.

Yes I agree. I went to Kyiv forn a week every month. I took my notebook. I matched with 300+ on tinder in just a couple of months. The hard part is filtering out the low quality women. So what is a high value guy? You could be an American guy about 50 who is journeyman truck driver making 120k a year or a young 25 year old American guy with a bachelor's degree working as a public school teacher making only 65k.
Depends on where you live though and your overall expenses. 120K a year in, say, the NYC -area aint gonna get you very far. Especially if you've got lots of bills and debt. But 65k in an average/low cost of living place? Including many quite normal suburbs? That can be pretty decent income, especially if you don't spend much and don't have much debt. But I'd think a 25 year old teacher isnt making 65k in those areas, it has to be less. Maybe in high cost of living areas, but again.....

The older guy, who is 51, is a master truck driver and operator clearing about 120k. He has only a high school diploma and is a veteran having learned his trade in the US Army. He is divorced and his only real expense is helping his two kids to get through university. The 25 year old guy has bachelors and half a masters degree but quit to get an elementary school teaching job and is also a youth soccer coach. He's a good looking young guy but is burdened by student debt and bout a slightly used Corvette. No kids, never been married. They both want go to Ukraine to look for women from early twenties to mid 30s. Who will have more value?
@@jeffbreezee the prior service Army dude would have more value. Ukrainian women prefer alpha males which makes for a good impression. Everything else a man has to offer (education, financial stability, looks, etc) will be bonuses. Furthermore, many of those single Ukrainian women have fled west of Ukraine.

However, when you say, spend hours on end doing nothing but approaching girls, I actually agree with you, that is loser behavior. Who has time to do that? Connor I will say when I visited Kiev, I had to scale down my Tinder profile, and other Social media. Women would see that I travel the world a lot and the only Women I attracted were the "professional daters" offering their services.
I felt like if I showed I have a great life, I attracted the wrong type of woman, and if I hid my worth, I couldn't attract any women. Navigating the Ukrainian dating minefield is very complicated.

To each their own. But yeah, I don't get day game. I've walked with dudes doing that in Ukraine and it's almost pathetic. And just such a waste of time and energy. Not to mention the absurdly low 'success rate' at even getting a number. And often when they DO agree to meet...they flake. And often when they do SHOW UP...they don't treat it as a 'date'. But "just talking with a foreigner, maybe practicing my english". There's better ways to meet local women - online sites that LOCALS use (not sure if Ukrainians still use VK or Mamba); through mutual friends; and just naturally approaching women thats obviously not 'running game'. Like at a party; club; standing in line/sitting next to someone (especially at the beach here in the Summer!). Not just randomly approaching someone in the street or shopping mall lol.

As its what locals use, not scammer heaven. Although certainly theres scammers everywhere, even in people's social circles (although more likely to be gold diggers than scammers).
Tbh my daygame isn’t too great either. My experiences with tinder even after a make over were woeful. A good DGer in my city does way better IRL dating than online. Social circle game seems like a non starter for most.

Yes I agree. I went to Kyiv forn a week every month. I took my notebook. I matched with 300+ on tinder in just a couple of months. The hard part is filtering out the low quality women. When the war ends I am going to look at social circles. The yatch club is my next move or the latin dancing club. I might even bring my boat to Kyiv and leave it here.
Instagram is not my generation (I am in my 50s). I am also a bit of a sigma.

As you said. You have to bring value. I learnt to DJ and I am organizing my own private parties. That's how I did it.
Unfortunately the amount of efforts (and risks) to be "high value" is beyond what most guys can achieve.
