It is true that a western man can get a higher quality woman in eastern europe. But that's only because a woman who is a 5 in eastern europe would be considered a 10 in western europe. That is, eastern europe is full of high quality that are very rare indeed back in the west. So, a guy like me who is a 4 or 5 at best is surrounded by amazing women, increasing my chances of being in a relationship with one.

I give you my guide to dating/relationships in these countries. First of all you need bring value to the table and yes this means money. You don't need to be a millionaire but you need to be above average financially already in your western home country. There are no 2 ways around this, this does not mean that all these women are golddiggers but she is not going to pick you if she can get the same with a local dude. When I first went to Moscow in the early 2000s even a Western dude with an average job/income was higher status, these days are long gone. Second thing that is crucial, you need to spend considerable time in the country of your choosing to find the "true" genuine women. If you try to do things remotely you will only attract scammers and golddiggers.This already eliminates a lot of dudes. What works well is a job where you can work remotely, this works particularly well if you live in Western Europe and travel back and forth sometimes. I have found that this travelling back and forth gives a certain cachet and helps on the attraction scale. What I did was invite them to come with me for a long weekend when I went back home, most of these girls like to travel and they really enjoy these mini trips. DO NOT FALL IN THE TRAP OF STARTING TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH HER IN YOUR WESTERN EUROPEAN HOME COUNTRY OUT OF CONVENIENCE, I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE. I have found that these relationships work best if you as the guy spend most of the time in her country, in fact I believe they can only work like this unless you are really high value. Conor is spot on. Now for some “older gentleman” advice after year in both Romania and Ukraine (I’m 64 BTW). 1) clean up your act. Get fit and be well groomed; 2) date age appropriate, my case 45+; and 3) don’t be a caricature of your country; and lastly 4) good character and personality is what these woman are truly interested in. These simple things will take you far over here and will go along way in you having a very enjoyable experience.

I recommend going to those 2 cities with a girlfriend rather than as a single guy. They're both beautiful places but I think if you're a single guy then the cities further to the east are better in general.

Just because Ukrainians can travel doesn’t mean they can stay in another country unless they get married! Unless they want to wait years on a list and go through the process of immigrating. They don’t want to move. But we will see how they feel after living abroad and jar forced to go back to Ukraine after the war! It's hard to predict how many will go home after the won is war or stay in the EU/UK/US etc. There are many factors involved, in particular, how long the war will last for and the extent of the damage in Ukraine by the time Russia is forced to leave completely ...
I'm a dual British- U.S citizen living in California. 3 people I know personally have left here in the past year or so to live in east/central Europe. One to Bulgaria, one to Montenegro, one to Hungary. And two more have moved to Portugal!

i traveled A LOT in Eastern Europe in the 1990s...Poland, Romania, Hungary, the Baltic countries and Ukraine as well...MUCH more interesting than now, not at least because there were so few other western tourists to be seen. So the people there had a hard time leaving AND there were no mass tourism like today from other countries. What are you doing in Poland??, people said. Everything was cheap. I paid like 15 USD for a hotel room in Warsaw and 10 USD a night was standard for a private room all over these countries. Always old ladies offering place to stay at train stations etc. Old ladies could tell me about their great daughter etc. And "old lady" in Romania wanted me to meet her doctor daughter who would LOVE to meet me.. she was not married I was told.....It was "the wild west "(east) of Europe.

Rented an apartment in a street where HUGE BROWN BEARS took over during the night, they were everywhere. Saw about 20 bears in that street. If you are just a regular guy in your Western country and not rich, you are not considered a high-value for Easter European girls anymore, at least from the financial perspective. This is still a thing in Thailand and other countries in that region, though, as in their imagination every Westerner (even if the one coming from Ukraine) is automatically a rich guy and is better looking) In Warsaw, there are lots of expensive cars and every second girl has the latest iPhone, so people are not poor here that's for sure. There is also that popular believe between Thais that every white foreigner is to some extent a rich guy, which can be true when comparing his Western salary with one’s Thais earn.
I'm german. Our women are extreme masculin. My only hope for a normal women is russia and Belarus. Czech Republic slowakia women are today like the german women in the 2000s what i have heard. The time is running.
My impression is that most younger Belarusian women who are interested in foreign guys have already left for Poland, Lithuania or the UAE. Russia is obviously big and not as many people have left yet but the window for traveling in either direction is likely to close further by the 2024 Russian presidential elections (assuming Russia doesn't collapse in the meantime).

As an Irish American, I wish I had gotten my dual citizenship and that Irish Passport to go with it.

You can stay in Poland a lot longer than the 90 days. You do have to exit out of Schengen but you can go back the next day.

@@heikorudi6105 Maybe it is higher in numbers, but I have noticed people much more poor there after spending a few winters in different places of Thailand. It also depends on what job the girl has. If she is a bar girl on Soi 6, she can easily make more money than most Ukrainians. But if she has a normal job (in bank, hotel, 7-11, etc.), there will be not drastic difference of income. There is also that popular believe between Thais that every white foreigner is to some extent a rich guy, which can be true when comparing his Western salary with one’s Thais earn.

My impression is that most younger Belarusian women who are interested in foreign guys have already left for Poland, Lithuania or the UAE. Russia is obviously big and not as many people have left yet but the window for traveling in either direction is likely to close further by the 2024 Russian presidential elections (assuming Russia doesn't collapse in the meantime).
