LatinVFR have just announced their latest two projects: An A330-900Neo and an #a340 in development for #microsoftflightsimulator The #a330neo is set to come out THIS WEEK, with the A340 not toofar behind. However, Horizon Simulations has decided to NOT HELP mod the aircraft with elevated system for PC. Interesting news!

im on PC so i think ill just stay with Headwind A330Neo, but the latinvfr A330Neo would be good for xbox users.
The latin vfr is good for experiencing the world in msfs so instead of focusing on a lot of procedures I could relax and enjoy the sim

LatinVFR said that no mods can be made for 330 and 340, nothing to do with Horizon…. Latins loss, as I for one will not be getting them even though I’ve wanted a 340 on MSFS, if they can only make them for Xbox then watch sales drop.
Preferred Headwind anyway... Used to like LVFR but now i think I'll wait until Fenix comes out with their A319 and A321.

Let's HOPE they fixed the issue with their planes where they would initially climb just fine but the higher the plane (318, 319, or the 321) climbed it started losing air speed and altitude. If this issue remains ton these then it'll be a hard pass for me.

Without Horizon Mod they can keep them. I bought the 318,319 and 321 because of the Mod.
I am impressed with the current quality of freeware from FBW, Headwind and Horizon Sim. If I'm going to purchase particularly an airliner, my expectations are that I can fly it on VATSIM meaning it has a working MCDU/FMC, RNAV, VNAV, TOD, can do direct to and holds. The previous A320 offerings from LVFR as a stand alone did not do that. I only have the A21N and the only way I feel comfortable to fly it on VATSIM is with the Horizon Mod. I support Horizon Sim's decision to discontinue supporting LVFR aircraft, no telling how many sales can be attributed to having this mod? I hope LVFR can develop a fully functioning aircraft that doesn't require 3rd party mods. So far they are just another Captain Sim.

We need A350, 380, 777, 747-400. When I first got MSFS a few months ago (at last) I was shocked to how little options for airliners on this sim despite being out for years
A good A340 would be so good. I just don't think this LVFR one is going to be anything more than a decent model. If their A320 series is acting to go off at least. Full cabin is great to see though
One question though. Will we be getting an A340-600? Or will it be one of the smaller models.
It will be the A340-300 but the A340-600 is planned for later as well as the A330-200

Haha oh the irony… I have literally just within the last 24 hours ordered a decent PC to move away from the console version (just way too many shortfalls from Asobo and their lack of support on Xbox), but maybe I’ll try out the headwind A330 instead - is it any good? I’m not expecting PMDG or Fenix level, but is it a few steps above what we can expect from LVFR at the least?
Headwind is miles ahead of LVFR. The LVFR a330 wont have mod support so it’s basically going to suck. You’ve made the best choice going to PC since you can use the FBW too.
@@CactusBravo42 not to mention the Fenix (that’s at the top of my download list!). But also looking forward to actually being able to fly the AAU2 updated Boeings without a CTD happening within 20 mins of take off.
@@AB_neo Exactly! Fenix is an outstanding product. I just haven’t bought it because I’m happy with FBW and PMDG.
Varun, if I’m not wrong the A330 vs A320 , difference is that A330 has one extra Green line in Avionics + one extra Mcdu and A gravity assist gear deployment switch. So if the cockpit looks same then it’s legitimate!

I fly the LVFR A321 with Horizon mod and the Headwind A330 and will stick with Headwind on this one. For the A340, I think I wait for the FlyByWire A380 which shouldn't be far out as well. I never customized my cam to look in the cabin, so I didn't bother much when the Horizon mod came at the cost of a missing cabin interior.
I mean you say the A380 shouldn't be far out but flybywire have been working on the thing for almost 4 years with no roadmap or any plan published. We get a glimpse at it every 6 months or so but apart from that it's radio silence. No questions allowed. We hardly know anything about how the systems are going for example.
The A380 is my favourite aircraft and I absolutely can't wait for the FBW A380X but I don't think we'll see it for a while. They kinda suck at communicating these things.
I wonder if we'll ever see it because they keep adding all these new things and tiny details but who's to know if they have a threshold they've set of when it's good enough to release. Who knows if they'll just keep working on it till they all get bored and ditch the project.
All the updates we get on their server are random little updates to the A32NX which I mean ok great, but we all wanna know about how the A380 is going, not that they've added independent scratch pads to the A320 lol. Maybe the A320 team is just much better at giving community updates than the A380 team is. Good luck asking if anyone's heard anything about the progress of the A380 cuz you'll just get hit with a .when.
Despite my complaining I wish them nothing but the best in developing the A380. I'll just be over here not so patiently waiting haha 😂

@@Minecraft64lol I’m sorry but that’s false. LVFR lacks basic systems. It’s a reskinned version of the default A320. Headwind is heavily based on the FBW systems and is 10 times closer to a study level aircraft than LVFR.

Really not a huge fan of LatinVFR's aircraft. It's great that they developed the A319/20ceo (including the 321NEO), but using default systems that are honestly quite bland and limited in their capacity, I don't think it's worth the investment. Continue with the scenery instead!

Looks like Aerosoft just put their a330 off, and announce its going to msfs 2024. Another simmer, a few months ago actually commented here on YT somewhere that Aerosoft wouldnt come through, so not to hold my breath. Bummer. Was really looking forward to it. Wasnt sure that Im transitioning to 2024, at least until all of the certain mess passes upon release. There is bound to be 2 years worth of issues
The problem is that lvfr is not that realistic and headwinds a330 is a flying Problem with a way to much fuel using engines and everything

DFD is developing an A350. We haven't heard to much from them but they put out an update every now and then. Progress is pretty slow though so don't expect to see it in the next year.
The nose wheel is not working properly,to change the KG to LBS on the ECAM is not possible,sometimes doesn't climb properly even with CG and gross weight properly set,the mask on the airplane is so bad I would like to see some liveries without black on the paint,while climbing one yellow warning message appears that say lvr..... ,almost no wingflex and on the mcdu doesn't appear the optimum cruce altitude.,hope somebody can fix this airplane if not is shit

There’s no such thing as a study level video game airplane! It’s amazing the things people repeat because someone said it!
@@lsubesteva Sorry but you're wrong. There most definite are very few addons that can be flown by the book, and require knowledge (re: STUDY) from the aircraft manual to fly properly. Hotstart Challenger 650 being one great example.
Scary. The aircraft fidelity level just keeps sinking and sinking. People will prefer a simulator aircraft which features an "EFB" much more than one that actually resembles the actual model / systems. Sad.
MSFS has always felt like a console port anyways... It'll never surpass P3D and x-plane as long as that's the case.

You know what bothers me about some PC players? The sheer entitlement and lack of empathy for fellow gamers! I thought we were all gamers!? I thought we were all brought together by our love of everything dealing with aviation? But all I’ve seen is mostly comments from PC players attacking Xbox players simply for playing the game on console! Making comments like you brought an Xbox you can buy a PC, “ we don’t deserve to play flight sim “, “ why are we even complaining “, we don’t have the right to play this game because we don’t have good mods or specific hardware or access to VATSIM and many other ridiculous statements. It’s really crazy to see and experience. Being attacked because you don’t play on a certain platform. And the majority of PC players started on console🤣 it’s incredibly frustrating to attack players because you’re playing on console and they’re on a PC. They said we don’t deserve Mods, no Fenix, no FlyByWire, no Horizon mods, no Kuro for us or a freeware section! You guys have gotten free planes, liveries, airports and add ons for free and we literally pay for EVERYTHING and receive none of those things! And you guys still berate us and look down us why? Because of our platform??? And we pay hard earned money just like y’all do but we also deal with way more technical issues than you do. We play on a none modded system so there can be no mods or upgrades applied to the xbox system but you guys can do a whole host of things on your end. And you still dislike us why? Because of the platform we play on. I really thought PC players would be a driving force and a voice for their little inferior console brother! But instead they’ve become the evil school bully who don’t want to see us have any fun. Wow! Enjoy your awesome Aerosoft Brussels Airport! The xbox one is broken! And all your freeware and awesome mods and graphical superiority🤣 I’ll just be over here in the corner looking at all the money I’ve wasted, the horrible LOD, horrible terrain optimization and oh yea no freeware and no graphical optimization or Mods! ☹️
It's not because of the platform. It is because many Xbox Simmers pay those "hard-earned money" to devs who basically provide you guys with the minimum they have to do. At least a plane which is introduced by 3rd-Partys shouldn't just look good (External Model). Some of them even doesn't :-D The system and flight dynamics should be at least comparable with real-life planes. LVFR provides narrow-body Airbuses which are just a default A320 (it only looks different, not more, not less) and so Captain Sim with the B777 and B767. It is a B747 with 2 engines. Hopefully, this clarifies why people are getting mad on Xbox Players. It's not the platform. It is the way how you guys waste your "hard-earned money"

It is not worth it even if you don't have the choice of getting freeware. And I know it because I'm one of the guys who makes better freeware planes on PC. So it's because you support those devs milking you the money out, not the system. If you are really into simming a proper mid-range PC (better than Xbox already) would cost you less than the Xbox + Addons which you have wasted money on. Those guys you get bullied by them are right on many points, but it doesn't mean they have the right to bully you. That's true.
I hope you get my point of view into those entire money making strategy with as little effort as possible mainly on Xbox Players (because of the close Eco-System) and also PC Players who just don't seriously think before purchasing something because a high price tag is on it and it should be good. Which in most cases isn't in MSFS sadly. Spend your money on a good PC and support "better" freeware devs

747-8i, captain sim's lineup 777,767 etc Bluebird sim's upcoming way better than captain sim 767 and 757 PMDG's 737 lineup, with in development 777, 747 oh and also captain sim 717, asobo 787-10, kuro 787-8 horizon's upcoming 787-9 RHD 767-300ER bredok3d 737 max, and the c-17 globemaster that's freeware, that's all I know
because pmdg takes centuries with their developments😅 they cant even deliver a bloody efb after more than a year😅 777 will release 2030 probably

They really aren’t, they do a lot more than captain sim. They actually have more realistic physics and aren’t just a reskin. Captain Sim is a a re-skin.

Well this in my honest opinion is the worst plane I have as a pay ware in my stock of MSFS. Half the buttons and knobs do not work. It struggles to catch the altitude, radars switches not working, FMC not following the flight I have to manually up and down the arrows to follow it, All this for $52, something. The videos I have seen show people on board, this I do not get, it conflicts with GSX. Already exhausted from wresting this bird and better to take out the CRJ or BAE and have to sit and follow the throttles. Here is a plane that it meant to be up and away and forget about it for the duration of the flight. My advise keep your free one works a lot more better than this one. Here I was so eager to get the A318 LMAO not happening.
