Absolutely The 🐐..goat.. 😎 black Jesus ..
Oh yeah! The GOAT 🐐
He was so creative. Doing shit nobody else was doing wayyy back then.
By 1996 he was fucken SURGICAL. So unbelievably lethal calculated and cold blooded, somehow even better than his entire career up to that point. Look at ALL the moves here. Not a SINGLE wasted movement. Everything planned, intelligent, efficient. No wasted energy, absolutely MINIMAL. NOBODY has played like this since. Even Kobe, as close and as awesome as he was, didn't have THIS level of efficiency and intelligence. This is on a level NO ONE has ever come close to.
How you play a full game with the flu and carry your team to the point he was about to pass out doing the playoffs playing against the Portland trail Blazer Clyde, Terry Porter, Kevin duckworth ,buckWilliian Danny ainge
Definitely man. Can ever stop watching it. He was like a swiss army knife through cheese.
Total mastery of the art and with that came the calmness. No wasted energy, a part of his play that is rarely pointed out. And there, see, your 23rd like.
people should Understand that MJ THE G.O.A.T. WAS 35 Years old in 1998, he wins Regular Season MVP, a Chap. and Final MVP. scoring title. and all-star MVP.
yep and i dont even know why people call Lebron the goat. Kobe was the closest to Jordan because Kobe was like 70% of Jordan with a better 3pt back in his prime.
@@Leon-xp2zb Did you know that Jordan shot 50% from the three-point line in 94-95, and 42.7% over a whole season in 95-96? Kobe's best season was 38.3%, and Lebron's 40.6%. Three-point shooting was the least refined aspect of Jordan's game, because he didn't need it, but I think he was better than he gets credit for.
Plus, MJ's career percentage in the playoffs is better than either of those two...

It’s kinda funny, this 35 year old version of MJ was sort of like a prime Kobe. MJ had definitely lost the god-level athleticism and first step he had from like 1988-1992, but was still comfortably better than everyone else. He just had to be way more crafty. It seems like what he lost in his athleticism he gained with his decision making, shot making, and body control. Probably my favorite version of MJ. Still supremely athletic, but also the smartest and most creative he ever was.
The older he got the smoother his game got....
needs skills to compensate for dwindling athleticism. perfect balance. start seeing this from Lebron today.
On god
@David Mutchler right he is not a fundamentally sound player and his post game is nonexistent or average at best also not a tough shot make like MJ and Kobe were and being it's almost the end of year 17 for him he will never have those things in his game
@@cdplaya1973 he takes his game slower as well, starts going at his best when need to, and his becoming a Playmaker/PG now. Average his Career best. As greats get old, they rely on skill/IQ, rather less of their speed, athleticism, power. They know about their fatigue

Agreed
The spacing he creates from his fadeaways is just out of this world. He's gliding/flying backwards. Poetry in motion.
Yes, because before, he used that to create more space on his fadeaway, for him to have a better percentage of getting buckets and for him not to be blocked by his opponents specially those big ones with long arms, while in today's ERA, even if you don't fade that much, it is fine since the game is too soft and you could easily get a foul.
Body at the right height 6'6 ya like Kobe the rest is history not to big not to small
He was playing those crazy angles. His legs were disappearing so he took the space he used to create height-wise and angled it away from the hoop instead. Wild.

Michel Jordan was a great individual player but wasn't the greatest team player since that basketball is a team sport then it stands to reason that in order to choose the greatest NBA player of all time , that player would have to be a player who was more concerned about getting his team mates involved in the the game than about his individual statistics and that wouldn't be Michael Jordan that probably would be Ervin magic Johnson, or bill Russell both of whom were the ultimate team players.
MJ was 35 at the time of these highlights.......incredible!!!!

💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💕💕💯💯💯
I respect your candor and reasonableness... ppl gotta understand you can love a player while still recognizing who the GOAT actually is... and his name is Michael Jeffrey Jordan
That’s your opinion 🤷♂️
LeBron is better
@@TimeCenaPSW Man, I used to think that MJ was the greatest but I started focusing on their actual talent. Everyone is caught up in the legend of MJ. MJ had his own still by the kind of awkwardness to his walk and legs, and with the tongue out. But if you actually look at what he's doing, 95% of the time he shoots short 8-12 foot shots, does a 1 handed dunk, and does the reverse layup. There is nothing real spectacular about what he's doing. Kobe modeled MJ and became a better MJ with more skills. But if you really look think about best player. Lebron is so much more skilled and talented. MJ fans always bring up the 6-0 finals record, which is a team accomplishment. In that case John Havlicek is the GOAT at 8-0 in the finals. Lebron has taken teams to the finals that should not have made it, only because LB has to do so much. On those teams, a good finals coach will only have to stop Lebron. The real worth of the other players is shown with better competition. LBJ's team was only favored in 3 of his 10 finals appearances.
Lastly, Scottie Pippen had more rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks that MJ in their finals run. To add more, Scottie guarded the other team's best offensive player. Lebron has led his team (and the other team) in points, rebounds, assists, and steals in 8 of 10 finals appearances. LBJ was so good that the person that guarded him (Andre Iguodala) won finals MVP in 2015 with James averaging 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists.
Don't get me wrong, MJ is iconic and growing up MJ was everybody's hero (including mine) but if you actually take off the blinders, LBJ is way better as a player. If you think about the term "Greatest of All Time" MJ is only ranked in the top 10 (actually #5) all time in scoring. Lebron will finish #1 in scoring top 5 in assists, top 10 in steals, and leads every category all time in NBA finals history. But yes, MJ has won 6 finals, but LBJ still has a chance (not really) to match this.
@@dr.lynnjones5634 it will take lebron 2 decades. MJ played 12 seasons really. What you said sounds delusional lol. MJ footwork, athleticism, defense , and mid range is unstoppable. Lebron is just big lol. And please don’t talk about the talent MJ played against , every era is different. When lebron retires people will bring up the same thing when it comes to talent. MJ is much more fun to watch, born winner, doesn’t QUIT, mentality is crazy , something lebron will never have. It took lebron 20 years to get those stats he got, if MJ played 20 years lebron wouldn’t even be near his stats

MJ playing like fine wine in ‘97-‘98, he refined his game. Relying less on athleticism but now with polished skills that he has down to the science. He had worked on all his weakness to this point and developed them so much that it seemed like he had a flawless game.
I hate when people say he was past his prime at this time!!! He was polished to the point where he relied less on athleticism but more on mastery and his grown man strength and power.
@@drewali7 whoever thinks MJ was past his prime this season doesn't know basketball, the NBA or is just a kid. Jordan won All Star game MVP, league MVP and Finals MVP this season plus led the league in scoring again. He was clearly and hands down still the best in the league at a time when the league was FILLED with young and veteran stars and all time greats. His game was 100% complete with no weaknesses either physical, mental, skills and fundamentals etc. He's easily the best player I've ever seen and I've been watching since the mid/early 80s.
Except those true jump-shots rather than set-shots that Jordan was taking requires a lot of athletics and stamina, and the fact that he was so consistent and his stamina was so good even at age 40 on the Wizards easily makes Jordan the GOAT. Stretch 4s changed the total landscape of the NBA. The amount of help defense MJ saw is far beyond what NBA see today. Go watch a Bron highlight and see how wide open lanes are when he drives...
Defensive 3 secs too.
@@mskidi Another good point!
man.with these skills, iq, he could dominate any era....also today.....it's unique, he always knows how to defeat the opponent and what to do in any situation... lots of players today might be quick ,strong , but not smart enough, mj would dominate damn too i'm sure...imagine the young MJ with his unreal athleticism omg....
MJ went form most athletic and best vertical to just peer footwork and skill getting it done
This is what the Last Dance was missing! They needed a segment where the focus was on footage like this that shows his greatness. MJ will always be better than Lebron to me. I don't care how many championships or points Lebron achieves. My eyes tell me Jordan is the more beautiful player. Period.
Lebron isn't even the second greatest. Top five though, but when you've lost as many finals as the GOAT has won - there is no debate, period.
@@marcoslaureano5562 yeah although the circumstances in lebrons finals losses are weird. I always ask people has Jordan ever choked, the answer is always no
@@kingkunta2977I mean he choked in the 95' ecf, just look up the footage up
@@oisinmcgonagle7998 I mean he was rusty from two years of baseball. Wasn’t in shape and going against prime Penny and Shaq.
@@kingkunta2977 I'm pretty sure he played 17 regular season games and the whole playoffs, even then he missed two shots in the last minute and shot an airball, he could have made better decisions
Greatest combination of skill and athleticism. Dude was a boom, boom *score* type of player, not a boom, boom, bang, boom *score* type of player. He has, by far, the greatest IQ amongst the all-time great scorers, and his unmatched quickness, balance, agility, and creativity, coupled with his uncanny strength and massive hands, only heightened his skill and made his moves virtually inimitable.
Could this be my favorite MJ era?! I mean he’s PERFECT in he approach to the game! And there aren’t even many defensive highlights of his in this. 🔥🏆💯
Second 3-peat Jordan is the best incarnation of MJ. Still had crazy athleticism but used that fadeaway to stay fresh.
What's crazy was that MJ played with a detached ligament in his right ring finger almost the entire 97-98 season. He had to adjust his release to work around the injury, and he still shot 46.5% from the field. On top of all this, he was 35 years old. Just so damn efficient and smooth.
You could tell Rodman was always in awe of MJ every time they shared the court together.
when you think about the amount of mental and physical pressure for each shot he took,
to be so non nonchalant and graceful,
unbothered by hands in face , its really epic, the art
King Jordan!
Simply amazing to watch. It is so bleeding obvious that Jordan has more skill, more creativity, more determination and more of every other desirable basketball quality than Lebron James, or any player in history.
@Litty 3 Titty because Lebron is the one to claim he is the GOAT, and the majority of players and fans know Jordan is the greatest ever.
Everything mike does is so mesmerizing hes moves are so accurate and fluid hes body language is so unique cant be duplicated
Kobe and M.J. are finer than vintage wine. Thank you for sharing with us, Kobe's big brother history footage. Thank you, God bless.
MJ fadeaway is art
I'm 13min in an im already feelin the affects of the sound of the bottom of the Net..Seriously!!
Cant Believed that i was watching this for free
One thing that astonished me about this video is how many of these fade away scores are clean swishes. It's aesthetically pleasant and show how MJ is absolutely on top of this craft.
the guy has the smoothest offensive game I've ever seen hakeem is a close second.
Jordan has skill, strength, speed, leadership, killer instinct, winner mentality!
Yes!!! Hakeem 1993-94, Tim Duncan 02-03, Kevin Garnett 03-04, and Dwyane Wade 08-09 some recommendations
Would love more DWade 🙌
let's go wade
watched 2003 Duncan the other day...WOW just WOWWWW
Kawhi lenard raptors season and playoff run
And 02-03 Kobe
Greatest basketball player of all times. the best jump shooter and the most outstanding buzzer beaters in NBA history. Jordan didn't wasted his plays or shots, everything mattered. GOAT!!!
28:25 35 year old Michael Jordan moving like the 22 year old D Rose MVP season is just insane
He his simply amazing... God of basketball... MJ!!!
Something to ponder: this video depicted 1 season of MJs NBA career and I've noticed that every shot he took was nothing but NET!! how was this possible? Nothing seemed too awkward for MJ and no shot seemed too difficult. Plus, he didn't care how many people were between him and the basket. Jordan knew what he wanted to do and he just did it, to perfection!! He was and is the definition of 'The Swoosh!" and the phrase, "Just Do It!". MJ = Beyond G.O.A.T.!!!!!!
It's astonishing to witness how His Airness could literally do whatever he wanted to on the court. Spins, ball fakes, crossovers, fadeaways, spot-ups, step back threes, reverses, drive the lane for floaters, drive the lane for dunks. Literally anything. And at such a high level it all looks effortless. Not to mention his defensive prowess. How anyone can deny MJ was the greatest is beyond me.
He was the best at seeing the double or tripple team coming and fading before they could get there. He literally posted the whole league this season.
