Just started making cold calls a few weeks ago, your videos are very helpful. I have put these questions and answers on flash cards and I am practicing them. It is certainly helping with my confidence in approaching cold calls.
One objection I'm surprised didn't come up here is "We've just locked into a 3 year contract with xyz..." Similar to the "we've gone with another vendor" but this one has a (likely BS) contract added to it. I assume the answer however is similar in terms of "don't worry about hurting my feelings" though :) Great vid Matt - would like more of these!
@@MattMacnamara Thanks! Another Q if you don't mind - I noticed that you mentioned in one of the objections "do you hate getting cold calls as much as I hate making them?" - I understand the common sense of rapport to build around an equally disliked action - but if a client knew you hated cold calling, wouldn't that convey the sense that you don't want to talk to them? Would it be a better strategy to build rapport around the challenge of being rejected instead? Just food for thought.
Mr. Macnamara making it all look easy as usual. Thank You. I look forward to my future. These videos, and the like, are helping me become more comfortable with the idea that I will succeed. #cchacartegui #sdr #bdr #coldcall #objection #markmacnamara #techsales #ibm #enjoylife
@@MattMacnamara Okay. So if they say we have an in-house team we need to just use that verbiage what do you do differently than an internal team? Or is there another quote for that. Like when a company wants to offer IT services and people say we have an in-house IT team and don't require external support.
@@MattMacnamara My pitch for this was not good. It was something like oh" that speaks for the quality of your team and that is great. However, we have services that you might not currently have and these services could also benefit you. So would like to take out services in consideration." This is what I was using.
I work in healthcare when calling clinics the admin says “I gave the info to the dr they’ll reach out if they have questions “ okay please help me with this I get it all the time it’s the worst
Lately for me... "I'm walking into a meeting and I'll call you back". Click... no chance to steal a couple more seconds to manage the objection.
nothing you can do about that one...send an email and call them again a few days later

“Sounds like I just missed ya.”
“Would it be okay if I contacted you around renewal time, that way you can evaluate what your options are?”

Great work Matt. However I think you missed one objection here that we have an in-house team.
What do you do differently than an internal team?

@@rantoxdarkpredator48 No, I as curious to learn, typically, what do you do WAY better than a team handling this internal could do?
@@rantoxdarkpredator48 what are you leading with in your pitch?
