This is something I wonder why people don't ask Karan Johar. About his failure and learning. He is a sharp business person and filmmaker. Kudos Faye.
One of the best interview of Karan till date. We got to see a different side of him...
Faye D’Souza doing the Anti-Podcast >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
(You’ve chosen the right guest for this)
Unpopular opinion, but I love Karan and love watching him. He is charismatic, has great stage presence, eloquent, smart and has good eye for television🌟🌙The reason why he gets hate is because he knows how to capture attention. He seems like real TV-persona, i.e eye-catching colorful unique personality✨❤️✨
He has soo many talents. I admire him.
Me too 😊
he is actually someone more people are looking up to these days . not just for his success but his journey to being successful and going against societal norms
Me too! Don’t understand the too much hatred around him.
@@sai6275comeon!!!….u know it😕
Thank you Faye bringing the side of Karan Johar that we don’t often see… but has always been there… people trash him so much, but there is a person so strong and genius that makes him what he is today
Karan Johar has evolved spirituality- there’s sooo much relaxation in his voice. Loved it 😊
This is so much better than the “tea and gossip” I take something from this
Both have a purpose.
Well, never thought a celebrity could be this candid and humane. Faye this is calming experience.
We wouldn't get to listen to this side of karan johar ,if there weren't people like faye! Here's to being better and kinder people! ❤️ Here's to being more human ❤️
Honestly, never wanted the conversation to end!
seriously...
KofFaye with Karan 😄
😂😂😂
😂
🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
This conversation is so insightful I think Miss D’souza you should do this more ,this is an amazing conversation no gossip only real life issues that we all go through
Love you Faye. More power to you girl❤
This open talk concept is quite good and motivating !!!
I so wish, this wud had reached the audience during my times which was much much required. Back then those times getting accepted and wanting to live life on your terms and expressing it was so difficult. If you do so you wud be judge or wud be called a brat.
I have been listening to Karan Johar on many platform and yes he carry his persona so well while representing himself. Yes,in some context i may feel he has been privileged but yet not all can have same lives.
Faye, great job. It will be great if you can bring on more folks who can be sometimes people out of the film industry too.
Excellent format Faye. Always admired Karan for his bold presence. He gives a damn to whatever people are saying about him. Kudos to you Karan. Love you.
And what about his murders talented actors
Bravo Karan. I salute your courage and vulnerability. Faye and Karan, this conversation will benefit and uplift so many people by addressing "unspeakable taboos."
Hahhahaha...right..hahaha...
This is beautiful ❤.. had so much fun and joy watching this
I really appreciate the guts this woman has applaud the generosity she has and the life experience even for those who are from the 90s batch mam plz interview with #pooja #Lisa #tabu #manisha #neelam #karishma #urmila #raveena #kajol
The best conversation with Karan Johar I ever heard. The way he has opened up about his childhood, his insecurities, depression, inferiority complexity, his consultation with psychologist, treatment, feminism, public speaking, jealousy, ambition, his fame and anxieties , his vulnerabilities at large even after such a successful career ; hats off to you and Karan. It has changed my perception about him. I could never imagine that he has also faced so many problems, anxieties and humiliation like a common human human being.
Thanks a lot for bringing out a human heart of this gentleman🌿🌷
As a 90s kid, I want to thank Karan for giving us classics back then which we will cherish forever.
Over the years, i have also grown to hating homosexuality to accepting every human-being as equal.
That's what Karan has earned, though I hate it sometimes that his films never given any major roles to the poorer section of the society but that was early 2000s so, I hope in the years to come, every citizen of every strata gets his due in his films which can reach every audience.
In all, thanks for your service to art.
(Dunno, if he'd ever read this)
Really classics?? He promoted hindutva more than anything any one else through his cringe content
@@radhikakapoor8204 can you explain how? Especially the Hindutva part?
@@radhikakapoor8204 what, because of his love for om jai jagdish hare? Its just his culture. Saying other religions are inferior is bigotry (hindutva or otherwise), not simply practicing the religion you're brought up with. Seen My Name Is Khan? Its the opposite of hindutva
Lecifer want your Loc.
@@radhikakapoor8204stop trying to be edgy. You have clearly not understood his ethos and movies if you feel the need to say this
There is something new you learn about Karan Johar everytime.
Kudos to karan being SO open about his life and journey. His childhood years really touched me.
What a wonderful format! There is so much reflection and so much to take back! Enjoyed it throughly! 👏🏼
Good one Faye D’Souza for this podcast about failures ,because if we see today the whole world talks only about sucess and how to be successfull ,but seeing karan opening up his failures in life is a big lesson for me ,because we know how hard its to handle failures....( I Am a total failure in my life ) so happy to see this podcast
I saw a very different side of Karan Johar. It's a shame of the image mainstream media has given him. He's a gem.
Failure > Prayer+Hard-work for 365 days while others enjoy > Success (100% sure you will succeed)
As a practising therapist I can only say take a bow Faye !! Such a real and relevant conversation ! Karan has owned and addressed his vulnerability with such honesty and that makes him truly courageous.
It’s a unique idea … let’s have more of such like talks 👌👏👏
Such a fantastic interview. I can hear Karan sir speak all day long and get inspired. Sooooo well-spoken🙂. It's wonderful 👍!!
I hope today parents help their children overcome their insecurities, be yourself in such escape and convenient excuse in my opinion. Children shouldn't be told what they can or can't do, they need to figure it out. Unless harm is involved, the uncertainty of what will happen later will always remain irrespective of who you're. I wish all of us breakthrough holding ourselves back to be a better version of ourself.
Kudos to Faye!! The podcast world is so overrated, and I really enjoyed this. Thank you :)
Thank you for this format, I have been meaning to create something about talking about failures.
Love it! ❤ The Indian version of How to Fail with Elizabeth Day!!
Thank you so much for bringing in Karan, Faye!! 💙🌟
i love this so much. it’s raw, vulnerable, intimate and so powerful. ❤
Thank you, Faye and Karan for such an open discussion on this topic. Can relate so much to your issues (I silently combat social anxiety). Gained my respect!
Beautiful interaction, open and vulnerable. Need more of this for sure Faye ❤
Well done Faye ! This was an awesome conversation ... Really love this side of Karan talking about more deeper things
Too good! More respect for Karan and the manner in which you have conducted this interview.
Loved this Podcast, unique. want to watch & listen to more Conversations like this
This is for the first time I have seen Karan openly talk about his gender expression (femininity) and queer identity. More power to him. ❤
The moment I saw BLACK background in sharp contrast to the PEOPLE in LIMELIGHT, I SUBSCRIBED..LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE CONVERSATIONS..!!
It started of about what do we learn from failure. Then 10 minutes into the conversation it moves to life choices and philosophy.
Love it. Sooo refreshing and so much more relatability ♥️
Kudos to you Faye , loved the show. Thank you for bringing out this side of Karan, it was like seeing Karan in a different light which is imperfectly perfect ❤
Thank u Faye 💓 Nicely done.Enjoyed watching this ❤❤❤❤
These are the kind of one-on-one interviews we need. Insightful and interesting!
This is a much much needed break from the regular podcasts. Seeing the vulnerable and "normal" side to popular personalities is amazing. Also glad to see Faye share her own experiences while Karan talks about his - looking forward to more episodes! :)
I love this interview! So vulnerable and honest. Kudos to Karan for sharing, and to you for making the space for conversations like these.
Beautiful interview, Faye! In a sea of podcasts where mostly its men asking questions, you have no idea (or maybe you do and that's why we have this!) how refreshing your questions were. It finally felt great to see Karan (who i really admire a lot) as the person, the human he is minus the bling (monochromatic is probably working), the superficial questions. I thought i was being asked some of these questions because they were so open ended.. Like the one you asked about success and wealth. Please please never lose your authenticity. ❤
I had never liked him but today i have all my respect for this man who has his own plus and minus, a vulnerable man, but he acknowledges truth and doesn't shy away from wrongs that he has done. he is infact setting groundwork for new age Indian youth, who should not feel stifled in bad relationship or hide their sexuality. Faye this is good work, we want to see such content more often
This is gold..!!
This is a unique format...great going and all the best . More power to you :)
Discussing insecurities publicly needs real guts -well if that’s format of the show then it’s a BIG HIT👍.
Excellent show. Keep up the good work.
Please continue this series faye as always love your work ❤❤❤❤
Great podcast . Away from all the cliches. You brought out the human side of karan johar . Nice to hear him with all his vulnerability and he was very open . Kudos to you , that he felt comfortable sharing insight in to his life .
Great interview Faye. Please keep this going, not necessarily only with film folk or cricketers.
Faye more power to you.
I have absolutely loved Karan for what he is. He is amazing as a person. Whole conversation made me cry a little.
Very interesting insights by Karan Johar who had bared his heart. Your friendly presence, Faye D'Souza is reason! Thank you for the new line of interviews.
This is a great conversation!!! Thank you Karan & Faye for taking out time to put this out on the internet ❤
10 mins in, Best podcast.
This is such a beautiful and vulnerable conversation...
This is undoubtedly one of the best interviews of Karan, he is so honest and just freely expresses himself. That's how one should be❤. Karan should do more such interviews for people to take him seriously 😂
Loved the show. Yes, no one speaks of vulnerability but it is so real. Karan Johar seemed to speak his heart out. The duration could have been shorter though.
This is one of the best video you have uploaded. Best interview 🙌
The honesty of the conversation is too beautiful ❤
Karan's most candid interview.
Enjoyed the episode. The format is so fresh & real. Goodluck!
Thanks Faye for conducting the interview soo smoothly.karan can talk so well
This is a genuine chat 🫶🏼very insightful
love this conversation ❤
Karan is so real!! Love him, every time I tune in..
I love the way yoy guys spoke so softly so calmly in the world full of aggression thank you for spreading calmness❤
Kaye your questions and involvement is praiseworthy!! Way to go!!!
Watching this conversation feels like going to a therapy session. It made me feel comfortable, healed me as well as taught me a few important lessons that needed to be addressed. It feels so relatable as an artist and filmmaker listening to Karan Sir as I constantly maneuver between playing an introvert and an extrovert personality in this line of work and it does take a toll on my mental health sporadically. Thank you for hosting this session, Ms.Faye. Kindly let me know if I can reach out to you to have a detailed discussion on this topic with you through email or social media if possible.
Good luck with this journey and I look forward to the next one. :)
Faye D’Souza u should do more of this podcast with easch and every one stars in there respctive fields ,because as we say if there is a steep up for a mountain there is a steep down also rite ,thts life .........u should bring people from all corners of field,be it (Business ,Politics ,Sports ,Entertainmetns ) cheers
Hi Faye, Thank you for this 🙏🏼 I can’t believe how eloquently Karan shared it all what, at most times, we all cannot comprehend and put words to. This interview has definitely helped one listener, and that’s me! God bless
Love these interviews, Faye. Thank you!
Brilliant conversation, amazing he’s so open, such frank conversation. This is a gem interview.
Just pure and honest.... no comments no judgements...just views which are honestly spoken. It's a good one Faye. Well done!!
Why is this interview so therapeutic that it brings a sense of happiness from deep inside the abyss?
Such a lovely chat!
Super cool journalist interview!!!Your cool quotient is brilliant do more❤❤❤
Pls don't stop it. We love your show.
Absolutely loved this conversation. Two brilliant personalities Sharing their thoughts. ❤
I have enjoyed Karan’s movies from down south. All my friends, we gang up and watch it even without knowing the language 😀
Awesome interview. Karun, I appreciated your openness about your life. You should be doing what you want and how you want. For your kids, let them be kids.
Loved your interview ❤️
So wholesome. Faye, please do more of these. With sports persons, people from diverse backgrounds, including our president of India, if you get a chance. This is wholesome and good for the soul. Keeps us motivated as Bharatiyas and we get to know our achievers better..thank you for this podcast. A small suggestion: please release these podcasts on Saturday morning 9;30am. Great info to mull over as we work through the weekend.
Being authentic is brave ..... Mr Karan utter respect 🙌 for you❤. Thank you for this talk.....
Hi faye
Always in awe of ur honesty not just in journalism but in everything that u do !!!
And yess this podcast was such a breather !!
Karan said it just right - it felt like therapy !
The fact that u decided to go make up free and that there were no props & pretty things around,
brought the limelight & focus on just u and Karan ...
The black cloth on table and the black screen behind , really did wonders !
Really glad to see Karan on a show like this with absolutely no 'bling' around !!!
Plz keep doing more such podcasts !
It was extremely heartening to hear Karan acknowledge the fact that Bollywood is undergoing a creative crisis !!!
Eagerly waiting to see many more fresh faces of actors and actresses from non-filmy backgrounds under his banner !!
Kudos to Karan for opening up and just articulating his journey with such grace & grit !!!
U guys made my day !
Loved this podcast. So natural and open - I want to meet him one day. I’m a geminine tooooo
This is something fresh, if karan johar wants to reinvent himself and connect to this generation, this is the way to go. The last coffee season was so cringe to watch. I didn't get why people made fun of him for being gay in award shows. He has made a way for himself and
Loved the interview. As usual Karan was candid, faultlessly honest. I just wish that he realised that he's taken more seriously than he thinks, if he wasn't his films and shows wouldn't be so much awaited.
Thank you for recording this podcast, I learnt a lot today about how to handle kids at young age, the emotional trauma they will go through if the issues in childhood doesn’t get proper treatment.
Thank you Karan for being vulnerable out there
Loved the positivity of both the host and guest. It was refreshing to hear such a conversation in today’s times. Thank you Faye.
Wonderful format Faye 👍 loved your questions and the way Karan was so vulnerable ❤ he's a very introspective and sharp person...also parenthood has made him evolve so organically !!! Loved hearing him
wow, love karan speaking so openly... resonates with what I went through .. if only I could have an imaginary friend to tell me "it's okay"
After a long time, I see media doing the right job 😊
I feel so sorry for Karan and what he has been through all these years. Despite all those allegations and blames, he is still standing tall and working his a** off. His family is so blessed to have him around them. ♥♥♥
