Despite all the banter and chatter and hate this man receives, Karan Johar continues to be one of the smartest minds in his industry. he knows his business and understands cinema as a cultural influence. He understands the landscape of the Hindi movie-watching audience. Hearing him talk out of his chatty-catty chat show is educational for those interested in the Indian entertainment industry.

What is smartest mind to you tell me ... He is ruining the Bollywood Industry through his films ... He has to be socially responsible as a filmmaker.. what kind of smartness do you think he has. In his show koffee with Karan he tries to sneak into bedroom or privacy of a actor or actress and making bad comments on it... Does these make any sense... What kind of culture he has been depicting in his films . Exploiting the youngsters in our country through his films.. as a filmmaker how many of his tells us about the real or true nature of the society which we live.. only money making makes u a great filmmaker or box office makes u a smartest minds... He is meant for nothing still an epitome of nepotism...

    • @sivaprakashpurushothaman8336
      @sivaprakashpurushothaman8336 4 месяца назад +4

What kind of education his films had given to you... Tell me.. how many of his films talks about social problems of the country which we live in... His films depicting less than 10 percent of the people living in this country ... Do u know still 90 percent of the people in this country struggle to survive for their living how many of his films portrayed that... Not bungalow high storeyed building. Bikini dressess glamorous and beautiful women, six packs and charming heroes who either run behind heroines or heroines run behind heroes represent this country... There are still low class people or under privileged people in this country how many films of his have shown the lifestyle of those people's.. Bollywood is not about trial room lobby setup by these nepo kids.. shame on Bollywood by these kinds of filmmakers...

If he can't able to accept the criticism on him or on his films giving baseless interviews justifying his position or blaming others for it ... Does it make any sense... If he is smart as u consider he have to give answer through his works and actions... For example if u see a mirror it shows your face it doesn't mean there is defect in mirror. U have change ur face to look what u like not to blame the mirror the society is like that....

    Super interview 🎉
Brilliant filmmaker ... extremely talented ... and more importantly a very sensitive and perceptive human being ... which is reflected both in his movies and interviews
Reg nepotism .... yes its disappointing to see that opportunities are given only to star kids in his movies as actors .....
I wish Karan would cast outsiders in his movies ... not any outsider ...... but those who are talented with charismatic personality ...... and most importantly actor who fits the role
I think Karan being such a great filmmaker can do it ... he can make a star out of any newcomer ... and as the janata we would greatly appreciate it😊

Just that his penchant for wearing black again indicates a phase- of intensity, depth & perhaps maturity...so hopefully he will eventually become more eclectic in his tastes becoz that's his personality- a sum total of many facets, not just one.

Yash Johar, the God, very few people know about.
It's said that whatever good or bad you do in life, the fruits of those actions are transferred to children.
I hv met Yash ji once only but I am 200% sure, Karan is reaping the fruits of his Karma (actions).
Karan has turned out to be extremely smart & intelligent, which also is Yashji blessings.
I as a nobody, selling photocopier machines in 90s, once was doing cold calling (knocking on office doors without appointment) & happened to see a office gala under Mahalaxmi railway station bridge with the poster of "Agneepath" with Amitabh, Mithun on it.
I went inside & met Yash ji.
He didn't buy the machine but first time in my life, someone made me sit & actually explained to me (the way he would explain to his son, calling me Beta in between) why he won't be able to buy the machine.
He expressed the inability to buy due to fund crunch to which I said how can u hv funds issue, when u r making a movie with The Bachchan .
He explained me how producers take loans etc.
Anyways to cut the long story short, I found him a gem of a human being.
I lost my father when I was 6 & i felt that fatherly respect & feeling for him due to his loving behaviour towards a salesman walking in without any prior notice.
    God bless his soul 🙏
Cut to now, I hv tried to meet Karan Johar 3 times just to tell him how much I adore him, his films & his good fortune of having a dad like Yashji but I couldn't cross the reception area. No problem...
My best wishes to Karan for being such a prolific filmmaker & adding happiness in our lives with his movies.
    RRKPK was awesome...
    God bless you, Karan !

Nothing new seems to be covered in this interview. What’s the point of the same old answers repeated again? Don’t the creators do their researchers and try to bring out something new from the person they are interviewing?!?

Karan you are a master story teller. I like the fact you can take crticism in a positive way.
Just one thing the content now a days is so focused om movies with Pakistan in it. Why is that? Does this not make the rift worse instead of moving towatds peace. Altthough I dont think you have made any such movie with this subject. Just a thought

KJo is the biggest culprit of nepotism. Look at Hollywood. Margot Robbie acted so well but she is not even nominated. That is what I call transparency. Bollywood must learn from Hollywood. U don't see the same ppl every year receiving the awards. It depends on their acting. This year the Filmfare award should have went to Rani or Deepika not the nepotism Alia.

After listening to the first sentence, let me clarify it karan, someone told u this before, star kids want to be actors not directors.. Actors gets all credits in india not directors. This is why obviously you are introducing non star kids as directors. Karan you really take people as fools and for granted. Just admit you are pro nepotism and the father of nepotism. Please
