My biggest gripe with my Q5 3.0T is the super quiet exhaust and jerky downshifts when slowing. It’s like it keeps the torque converter locked all the way to the stall speed and you can feel it jam into each gear. Seems to be a common complaint with Audi’s ZF 8HP implementation.
Sounds beautiful got a 2012 a6 3.0 charged and want to update. I loved audi's since the movie Ronin and wanted one. Wanted an a8 but in my area dealers didn't have good ones so I came across a 1 owner low mileage jet ticket yup 😅 A6 love it just want to suit it up. Love what you did with youra
Just did IE stage 1 tune 93 octane on my 2013 a6 , pleased with the gains and datalog capability and crazy easy to flash at home took 15 minutes start to finish.. also made my own welded 2.5" downpipes with front resonator delete , left the rear resonator and put 2 magnaflow mufflers on to replace stock, sounds great, deep as hell. Where did you get the steering wheel and is it a tedious process installing and programming for the paddles I'm very curious
Coming from an Audi fanatic in the past year or two we got a deal on a Cadillac ATS 3.6 Paddles on this car are extremely delayed and im wondering if its the same for the A6 as well. wanting to go back to an Audi due to "American Engineering". Thanks!
You talking about the tensioners rattling, I guess. Oh, how I love those audis. Rattling chains like birds singing in the morning. Especially when they tell you, its "normal" cuz they cant figure out, how to make them work xD
@@slowwa6741 Off the top of your head -- What maintenance jobs are you talking about? I have an A7 and am trying to take care of everything myself. Already replaced plugs and fluids - but my tensioners rattle sometimes
There’s tons of things depending on the mileage. Plugs and coil packs are a good start, my upper tensions are rattling as well. PCV, Thermostat, water pump, intercoolers.

12.5 @108 on a 90 degree day is my best so far. Just intake exhaust and stage 1 Ie.

Yeah! Definitely suggest 034 motor mounts with it thought.
@Jordan Grado I’m 7 months late but yes go stage 2. Upgrade inter cooler to prevent heat soak which is common for these cars
