The contest of the Empires, Candyman Empire vs the Rising Pachydermal Empire, sweeping all competitions with the tusk
I Didn’t expect that first EI to do so much damage!
Yea, that was quite impressive :) Thanks for the comment.
Crazy how much work that one unit put in at 6:15
Indeed :) Thanks for the comment.
I would say it's not them that beat the elephants, but exhaustion.
That is quite often the case :) Thanks for the comment.
We are entering in philosophy “Hey class, according to the video, what defeated the Elephants?”
Is it:
A) The pyjama boys as one of the plagues of Elephantia (Elephantland)
B) Exhaustion to fight these insects?
Choose wisely 🤔
Test propsal: can elephants beat an army of 20 pijama mans IF the elephants use consecutive charge (you micromanage the unit by targetting different close units so it ALWAYS keeps charging).
Thanks for the comment. I will add that to To-Do list. Btw. do you mean War Elephants, basic Elephants or Armoured Elephants? :)
The fact that the elephants didn't just instantly break the 5th unit, but took the time to thoroughly maul them too, is amusing. It's like the elephants had a grudge against that unit in particular.
SPOILERS
Also, phew. Just within 9 units.
Yea, it is always nice to see some flying pink pajamas :) Thanks for the comment.
That first charge was so satisfying.
Indeed :) Thanks for the comment.
This is a deeply flawed testing methodology.
Sending 10 units in 1 by 1 is not the same is sending in 10 units at once. Subsequent units thrown in will have their morale lowered by seeing the previous unit routing.
Thanks for the comment. Well, there are also those tests having all units going straight away. This series is about using them 1 on 1. One could also argue that this way the Elephants tire more quickly, and the chain rout does not happen that could happen if 10 Eastern Infantries go at once :)
deeply flawed as in what?
The purpose of this test is about how many units it takes to defeat 1 unit of war elephant if sent in one by one, so units are sent in one by one. It's not exactly rocket science. Is it a realistic situation? Not necessarily. But it's weird that you go in with the assumption of what it SHOULD be in YOUR opinion and whine about it.
Besides, mass rout is a thing in Rtw. Look at Berserker vs Eastern infantry. 20 units of EI all in can't beat 1 unit of Berserker whereas sending them in one by one can.
