This band has such a special place in my heart. Not the best, but the hardcore band whose records I really connected with first. My early entry to music was my older brother's classic rock. But luckily, he had punk friends and metal friends and hip hop friends. It was all audio magic to me. When their sound evolved past straight up hardcore, they inevitably alienated some of their fans, but I was ready for what they did after. To this day, (I am now in my mid 50s), I still find myself listening to "New Wind" a few times a year, and it still moves me. I met Kevin Seconds after a show and had one of those interactions where someone you admire turns out to be even more gracious, thoughtful, kind and cool then you hoped they would be. 7 Seconds was so completely earnest and positive. The world has a cruel way of making idealists seem like fools. That may be so, but while it is playing, 7 Seconds' music makes me feel like I'm right and the world is wrong. If we can walk together...
I love these kids! My daughter and I saw them in Seattle long time ago. I was too old to surf but she had it. I did get front and center. Pit was ok even for an old woman. I think the kids took pity on me. Kevin, you're a good boy.😂
Man this is so awesome been thinking about this lately. Lost my cd years ago. Looking forward to cranking later on tonight after work. On this Friday bbq, good drinks , good peeps, hardcore punk classic. Gonna be a great start to the weekend
"...............We will attack in red and black Graveyard graffiti this whole fucking city!" When i was 14 i was heavy listening to this album, Insted - What we believe and Suicidal Tendencies- S/T. I just love hardcore punk that was loud and fast back then before getting into bands like Snapcase, Unbroken, Shai Hulud, Converge etc.
los escuche por primera vez en 1994 ,,,tremendo ,,,para mejor enpesaba mi camino punk rocker,,,ke bueno haber eskuchado esto de chico ...abrazooo viejaaaa
You wore the grooves off of this record in the mid-80's, huh!? That's a pretty damn neat trick you pulled off then, since this record wasn't even released until 1991 and then again, in 1992. You lose, sucker...but hey, thanks for playing!
Childhood is governed by its own rights as well as the music of the period, noisy rebellious and disordered...you can be proud of having such representatives at that time😎👍
I had this album when I was like 13, and I always said if I'm ever in a band I'm putting eye black under my eyes at the first show. About a year later my band The Idiots had out first show I did it, no one knew what was going on.
Oh yeah 7 seconds one of my faves...hey check out Tommy Bordino on the right.....the first 7 seconds drummer...i remember the Rad House..check out Tommy Bordino...one the right 1st 7 seconds drummer....fuck yeah....keep your fists high...
Are there any recordings of "Regress No Way" that are as raw as the version on this release ("No Class, No Way") but with the revised lyrics? This sounds awesome but I can't get past the words.
Few hardcore bands were like 7 seconds who were able to not just unleash the sheer explosiveness of their music during their sets but keep it there too.
Actually they didn't keep ot there. After rock together walk together album they became a U2 wanna be band who wants to take piece from mainstream... Long after punk become the word after the grunge explosion and they remembered hardcore. Shortly, it's same old success story. Also, they are quite boring after 1985, imo
Yeah, I first heard this version 5 years ago, completely mind blown. that's why I fell in love with this whole 'you tube' phenomenon. I especially love the "No Class No Way"...original... fuckin' sick-ass lyrics!
Einfach nur geil!!
40 Jahre alt und klingt so frisch...
Such a classic ripper - beginning to end.....easily one of the most played albums, throughout the past 25+ years of my life.
Still jammin to this in 2021!

If you can upload a better quality version of this album, PLEASE DO SO.
Christiano's vinyl rip is poor quality on a cheap-ass turntable.
I wore to groves off this album and saw this band perform live 4-5 times here in so cal in the mid 80s. Still my favorite. Thanks for the memories
