Your square neck tee is gorgeous….no one is going to be asking if you made that! Your other tee, that you ‘hacked’ off the bottom is stunning! While I was watching this podcast, early on, I think I commented that you are fearless with your knitting…..Love it!! Welcome back! 😊

Hi Karen, so happy to watch another podcast. I’ve been watching your shorts but listening to your stories and seeing your creations is enjoyable. I put Camisole #5 to the side because of the tops down construction. Oh my goodness…mental gymnastic…I understand. Your camisole fits so well. For a relatively new knitter, you are epic.

Yayyy! So happy to see your podcast again! That square neck cami looks so good, I think I have to make one for myself. I am in one of those places where it gets to like 115, but lucky for me I enjoy the heat ( I say as I'm knitting a wool sweater, LOL!)
Your batwing sweater plan looks like it's going great so far, I'm cheering for you on that!

So glad to see a podcast from you. I get a chuckle from your short videos but enjoy a podcast more. Your laughter is contagious and we all need to laugh more. I can’t wait to see your sweater creation as it progresses. You’ve definitely got more gumption than I would! And I love your Target tote. Wonder if you could dye it or use fabric paint to make it a color that won’t show grime so fast. I’m definitely going to check my Target store next time I’m nearby but guessing we will be seeing your “copycat” version in the future😊

Hi! Diane from 🇨🇦 here. I have been following you on IG for a while, how did I knot know ( see what I did there) you were on YT?! I am a maker who knits things like chicken mittens, but after my fall markets are done I am planning to knit for ME and dive into socks and garments. Looking forward to watching you. I am a 'start at the beginning' kinda girl, so I will catch up to your current videos( eventually). Now to episode 1 I go!

Thanks for a great episode Karen! I loved all the knits you had made, and wips, too.
It's my last summer vacation day and I'm totally spending it with all kinds of woolly things: podcasts, wips, stash diving, pattern searching, project dreaming...
There's something you should do right at this moment: cast on the 2nd sock!! :D
Why? Well, not only for the 2nd sock syndrome. It looks like the heel in the pattern is something new and fancy, and you might enjoy making it twice as soon as possible. So, if you cast on the 2nd sock, and work a bit on the lace, and then continue to the heel on the 1st one, you have the other one quickly at the same spot. Also, would totally avoid the 2nd sock syndrome. Win, win!
Thanks again and enjoy the August vibes!

The minute you explained that you want to knit a batwing top, I thought of the Knitty McPurly Vesper sweater. It's a free pattern. I know the pattern has long sleeves, but you are so innovative that you could probably figure out a short sleeve version.
