The topic of this video is pretty simple: can we survive the rumbling.

As long as you aren't trying to kill all the titans at once, you could use an RPG and aim for the nape/throat. One rocket per titan would still take an eternity, but if you could recruit help and extra munitions, it's possible.
The problem is getting that many rockets.
Also Colossal titan can just release steam and deflect the Missiles

Could just fire a few hundred rockets at any random group of titans so Eden would have to release steam for all the Titans and waste their power, or let some titans die. Rinse and repeat with 300-600 thousand rockets and a large chunk are gone along with them getting slowed down from wasting energy

With modern attack helicopters, definitely. The aot verse only had blimps, which were easily taken out by Zeke due to their nature as glorified hot air balloons. Modern ariel weapons would not be taken out by something like zeke’s rocks. Even with Eren’s arsenal of titans, I’d say it’s impossibly for there too be a defense attack helicopters and stealth bombers. Just carpet bomb the rumbling and dodge whatever ranged attacks Eren can throw at you.
Modern warships also are equipped with many missile and guided weapons that can penetrate over 700+ mm of steel. I dont think hardening could stop that tbh.
lets see how hot titans are
First we need to know how many colossal titans there are in the walls
Wall Sina has a radius of 250km
Wall Rose has a radius of 380km
Wall Maria has a radius of 480km
2*pi*250km = 1570.80km
2*pi*380km = 2387.61km
2*pi*480km = 3015.93km
Total circumference of the walls = 6974.34 km
Now chapter 123 shows the titans are packed in the main walls chest to back
I measured a colossal titan with a 15 cm ruler come to 8 cm (not to scale) the legs being 4.5cm, the torso being 2.5cm the head and neck being 1cm
We’re going to be using the torso
2.5/8 *60 = 18.75 metres
Comparing the high of the torso to the width of the bust
(New image the torso is 3.8cm and bust is 1.5cm)
18.75/3.8 * 1.5 = 7.4 metres for the average colossal titan bust
6,974,340m of wall
Leads to a total of 942,478 colossal titans (rounded to the nearest whole number) in the main wall sections
In Armin’s info graphic about the partial rumbling, there is around 25 colossal titans, so multiply that by 12 to get the district titans, so add 300 colossal titans
942,778 colossal titans
Now for how much heat they produce in episode 19 of the anime Hange touches Eren’s skinless titan and gets instantly scorched, the temperature to instantly scorch a human hand like that is approximately 50 degrees Celsius, however the colossal titans are above boiling point for water so we will use 100 degrees Celsius
The average human male body temperature is 37 degrees Celsius and emits around 120watts of heat per day
The average male human height is 1.75 metres
Using the square cube formula we can calculate that each colossal titan emits around 141,061 watts of heat per day
That is 12,187,670,400 joules per day per colossal titan
For all the colossal titans they release approximately 1,139,026,754,371,200 joules per day

One thing to consider: no one exactly knows if their nape is the weakness plus nukes wouldnt be used immediately plus the rumbling starts at madagasgar which means africa is prob gonna get rekt before someone decided to nuke the rumbling which means most of africa is doomed yeesh talk about getting unlucky for all of history

Lol bro in the manga the alliance literally went to the nape for all kills. The rumbling titans aren’t durable they’re just massive in numbers but as eloquit stated, the weaponry in Aot are 19th/20th century so even with weaponry from the 60s-current time we can definitely obliterate the colossi

Hide in subway stations, underground bunkers etc! The wall titan only make a ~2 metres deep footprint
basically yes even if you dont have the means to use weapons if you have a car and a few tanks of gas you could stay ahead of it and just go around if its heading your way just stick to side roads away from heavy traffic when you can

Keep in mind that quite a bit of people live on coastlines, which were the first to be hit with the rumbling.
They moved around 50mph so unless you have a car you're screwed
Let's not forget that AOT world is much smaller than ours
If the rumbling was coming for me and i had an unlimited budget and skills, couldnt i just get a apache gunship, fly towards erens big skeleton and hit its nape with missiles? If i stay high enough none of the titans can stop me. Although i dont read the manga so i dont know if killing eren would remove all the colossal titans.
If u killed eren the titans would still March to wherever they go since they would be in contact with sun light

A nuclear weapon dismantles matter at the atomic level and you are referring to the colossus titan explosion which is just a standard conventional explosion like the halifax explosion

Even if they didnt know about their weak spot the nape and head are weak spots in general so they would definetely do that but the explosions will be enough to blow up the whole head and nape.
By using the nukes we will off ourselves. Jets and planes would work well as long as they don't get too close as they'd likely melt away like how Hange burnt to death because of the amount of heat.

What about underground?. There are metro stations and bunkers that externed 50+ feet underground, some deeper. Would they survive or would the rumbling cause like an Earthquake effect?

Yeah exactly even with WW1 tech they could have won. Their airships and ships were probably faster. They should have scattered their fleet. Pick up troops and settlers then land then in paradis. They need to take out the military and leadership which is basically mostly taken out. Then use their civilians as human shields lol. Errens army would be useless in close quarters.

Well we can survive the rumbling, but it wouldn’t be so easy, because first of all, Eren would use strategy, there were many millions of wall titans, and they didint all walk in the same horde, which is were nukes won’t be so effective, but just so you know the rumbling would stop at the first city it came to because scyscrapers are ALOT taller than the wall titans.

Not sure about the nukes being able to destroy the titans. Those are mostly pressure and burning weapons. The pressure would knock them over, breaking their bodies, and they would be burned, but would they be burned enough to destroy the nape? Seems like you really need weapons that will directly target the weak spot. If they were able to do hardening it would be even more difficult.
If it's close enough, it'll decimate the nape

Hey, I don't know if you've seen what nuclear weapons can do, but a ball of plasma thats 400m-8040m in diameter is going to eradicate what is essentially just muscle and bone, it worked on solid rock so why wouldnt it work on titans
@@tellinggojira1188 The question is at what range can they burn through enough flesh to kill the titan. It isn't nearly enough if each one only vaporizes two or three. But if it gets 100, then they would have a fighting chance, at least until Eren spread them out and/or enabled hardening for them.
@@grugnotice7746 This doesn't make any sense either, nuclear weapons have been shown to make kilometer wide craters into solid ground, I highly doubt that the inverse square law will kick in at 120 meters, also are you referring to the thermal burn area or the fireball of the explosion
Okay but nuking is stupid because you would damage so much land in the process making most of it radioactive meaning we would still lose a lot of territory to the titans or unlikable conditions made by the nukes.
