I am job searching at the moment and funny enough every time i get depressed one of your video suggest me to try something else and place a smile on my face. Thanks Jeff
I have followed your advice starting from building an outstanding profile to searching for jobs on LinkedIn and have seen an enormous change. Thank you so much Jeff!
Started with the Linkedin playlist to get my profile on point and start applying all these steps to help me land the job I'm looking for. I said before and I'll say it now--you just too awesome, Jeff. Thank you! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Haha it's adorable when you slyly say something funny nonchalantly and move on the next second. Showcases your personality. Also really helpful tips, been on the job search for a month haven't heard back anywhere. I'mma try networking your way now.
Hey Jeff, what I love about you is that you always take the time out to respond and interact with people in the comment section. It's the little things like these that really makes the difference; love this dude 👐💪
I struggled with Linkedin in the past due to my lack of work experience and orientation. Thanks to your insightful videos I now finally know how to use my Linkedin. Luv ya
Thanks Jeff, for being clear and direct on all your videos, and for always referencing/giving credit to other professionals in your posts....that's huge!
Came across your videos when I was trying to figure how to "network" on LinkedIn 😃 I literally watch a video a head to LinkedIn afterwards. Thanks so much 🙏
You make sure the 6 minutes the audience spent on your video are worth it! And how you go into specifics with examples rather than giving cliche points like other youtube influencers. I also love how you are framework-oriented, I can completely relate there. Thanks. Keep making more such valuable content.
Hey there! Just checked out the video on job searching the hard way on LinkedIn, and I'm totally vibing with the idea that nothing good comes easy. Standing out in the sea of job seekers is crucial, and engaging with active LinkedIn users sounds like a solid strategy. Thanks for the tips, and here's to good vibes and a successful job search journey for everyone watching! 🚀✨
I have always been told “linkedin is your best friend” and finally i have been enlightened by you in this video of how to use it successfully, so thankyou for this video. It has given me a motivation boost☺️ I just had a couple of questions i was hoping you could help with - what advice would you give on shortlisting some companies, as in how do you pick them out? - Some careers advisors recommend targeting small businesses. How does one find these? I am interested in business/marketing
Since I found your channel couple of months ago, I have been watching all videos! You explain things in a very unique and easy way! It would be really helpful if you make a video on job tips for fresh graduates with no experience. Thanks.
Thank you so much for this whole playlist really. I just created my LinkedIn profile looking to start a career in Data Analytics. And since nobody in my circles work in the field I was happy to find your video on how to approach my job search on LinkedIn
Excellent Video Jeff, This would help me a lot for gaining exposure in the Big Four corporates. (Since there are quite less people talking about corporate career scaling, your videos have real value in them & they are professionally presented) Thanks.
Thank you for that Aakash! Yes I definitely hope to share my experiences (both learnings and failures) since I've been fortunate to have had amazing mentors, and I want to pay it forward 😁
Thank you so much Jeff! Bingeing on your videos now, will be putting your great tips to action! 👍🏻 blessed to find your videos at the start of my job search!
I was actually laughing in that Tinder part 😂. You are the first person that can take sure a serious topic and make a 2 seconds joke in it. I like you and I just subscribed and I am going to look for you on LinkedIn and Twitter too. Plus, I am not hitting on you ohh .
Great one Jeff...will surely start searching for 'posts'🙂... Perhaps a future video...can you talk about a professional who is really good in his present job (in a very healthy organisation), but feels that he is falling behind when looking at the world around him...please excuse if this is not a genre which you cover...good day Jeff...
Wish I learned this 9 months ago when I graduated from college! I finally got 3 job offers the HARD way (after 9 months of search, 200+ applications). Now I'm facing the dilemma of deciding which offer to take. Any advice? Would be cool if you can make a video about this in the future ;)
Well you'll always have that next job search 😉. Multiple offers is a great problem to have obviously but to be honest I wouldn't overthink it -> Depends on what your objectives are (building skillset in preparation for a next step, or just salary or location etc.)
@@JeffSu Will do! I am already using the Notion CRM template for a few things, so that helps me keep track. I converted it into a way for me to keep track of the jobs I applied to and the service I applied with so I can see where my best responses come from. This will certainly add onto it!
Suchhhh an informative video! Thanks for making them and being entertaining at the same time. Oh and also, thanks for not making them hlf n hr long lol!
Super content. Jeff i'm spending my coffee break time with your videos 🌟 (swamping the caffeine for your sarcastic jokes AND getting the most productive tips on the web) Hey!, ... i'll keep coming back for more. | Cheers, from Lisbon - Portugal
I definitely needed a refresh like this! This video was super helpful and got my butt moving. One question though: What would you say to the posts that are asking for people to apply to roles that aren’t yours? I see a lot of posts from recruiters and “#hiring” profile pictures that are these kinds of posts. Would you still comment or skip?
Hi Aubree - So the overarching idea is to always add value. If the role they're posting about aren't interesting for you, think about someone else you know who might want to know about the opening, comment that person in, and quickly explain why you tagged them :)
Hello, Jeff. Hope you're having a great day! Your videos are really helpful. I have autism and often find it hard to communicate clearly. Could you share tips for neurodivergent people to network on LinkedIn effectively or even get employed into the workplace? Thank you!
Just found your channel and it rocks! Great advices, love the way you structured your videos. Very simple, but professional, so that everyone could understand it.
The thought of searching for jobs again and revamping resume and LinkedIn is nothing short of a nightmare but Jeff you are an angel! Your channel and contents helping me boost my LinkedIn! Any tips on how I can approach Google's open roles for Product management? Should I apply or wait for a recruiter to reach out (which is not likely for now :') ).
Thanks Jeff for your advices that always come at timely when I get stuck with my job search : you are especially giving relevant LKD tricks for people from abroad who need to learn to use LKD at an expert level. Appreciated.
