Hi Jeff, just want to thank you. I watched your videos a day before my interview last week and used CARL. I received an offer today! Also, I am receiving a lot of views, connection invites, and messages from recruiters.. all of these in just a span of two weeks after I updated my LinkedIn profile based on your tips! Now, I have to binge on your productivity vids. 😅 Again, thank you!!
Hey Jeff! I started watching your videos back in June as I entered a season of career transition. I followed all your advice on LinkedIn profile optimisation, resume and cover letter writing, and interview prep. I set standards for the job I was looking for (some of which quite specific) and I found exactly what I was looking for. It didn’t even take that many applications or interviews to get there. Being really intentional with each application takes longer but it saves so much time in the long run. So, thank you for creating this content. Looking forward to graduating myself to your non job seeking advice videos.
At any given time friends or family (or myself) might be looking for a new job, so yes, please create a free job search tool kit! Thank you for all you do!
This video came at a perfect time. I'm struggling to find a job right now. I currently have over 3 years of experience and the roles that I need to apply for are asking around 3-4 years. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with my profile or resume but my resume is getting rejected left and right. I'll try to improve my profile using your tricks and update within a few months if I get anything. As always... thanks for this Jeff.
Hey Jeff, been a minute since I last left a comment a few years ago when your pro tips helped land my first corporate job. I am commenting again today in 2024 as I just secured another offer in my career hopping onto a new opportunity - all thanks to your amazing videos. Keep up the good work, been a huge fan :)

This is awesome, Jeff! Helps a lot on how to revise my own LinkedIn profile based on HR’s searching habits and from such a valid research 🤩 Always wondering what the difference is between LinkedIn and a resume, since I have been seeing LinkedIn as an ONLINE version of my resume - this clip answered 😊 Btw. Hey Jeff great content as usual! What's your take regarding similar skills on LinkedIn? for ex. related to leadership there is: Leadership | Team Leadership | Cross-Functional Team Leadership >> Should I add all 3? >> What about endorsement then? Should I prioritize one to be endorsed by my network, or spread the endorsement among all 3? Can't find much insight about this and how their search algo will react.

Awesome video, thanks for sharing great info! Not sure if anyone else felt this way, but the "highlighter" sound effect had a slight nails on a chalkboard feeling to it.
Thanks for the video Jeff ! You clearly put much effort ! New video idea: "How to explain complex ideas in a simple way both when talking and when writing" Generally, I 've noticed you explain stuff really well and the bluf technique has helped me a lot, so I think a video on that would be helpful.
Hi Jeff. I love your videos..the info and format are easy to consume yet full of actionable ideas. Selfishly..please make this one for my upcoming college students. Jeff, this video is amazing! Thank you for creating such valuable content. I apply to new jobs every 10 months on average, and I know I'm not maximizing the benefits of LinkedIn. I tried your suggestions right away and I immediately found more relevant opportunities! Great advice! Thanks, Jeff!! As someone who is switching career paths completely, do you have any advice on optimizing keywords while looking for a brand new role?
Really great video! I always love the "Pro Tip..." parts of your videos ;) One thing I recognised as a video editor: you used a "swoosh" sound effect when you inserted new things. Because I watch all of your videos I recognised that this was a new effect. Two things you can improve here. 1. Turn down the volume of this effect a bit. For one or two times it is ok, but when you insert the effect back-to-back, it gets kind of distracting. 2. The effect goes from right to left, but on the screen the parts where always coming in from left to right. Just adjust the sound effect to what you can see on screen. So when the screen insert is coming from left to right, the sound should also come from left to right and vice versa Hope I could help you with that! Keep up the great work man, love your content!
I've been following for a couple of years. Your content has helped a lot. I had a question: Being someone with 3 yoe, it's next to impossible to compete with all the cadidate with 10 yoe who are ready to take any roles because of the visa issues(heard from a hiring manager I personally know, who said why would they even look at my resume if they are getting a deal like that).
