Hi Ross! Funnily enough a few of my fellow classmates from university are working in that exact same position (I think a few in NYC and another one in Ohio actually). From what I understand, it's an extremely client-focused and customer-centric role, so I'd highlight experiences (both personal and professional) where you went above and beyond when it came to supporting a user (i.e. client). Furthermore, you probably want to show you can deal with very difficult customers since that's definitely a challenge you'll come to face. Best of luck, let me know how it goes!

Love the RUclips part :) If you're talking about how to structure (like the "Tell me about yourself" video or "Why are you a good fit for this role") I'd say the first 30-45 seconds should be about making that connection between the role and yourself, then around another minute or so on your growth mindset (with specific examples of course) and ending it out by reiterating your passion for the work you'd be able to do in the new role (of course your enthusiasm should be evident throughout)!

I find this question to be silly. I also find it really wild that employers would rather not have an honest answer to this question as well. There is a 100% chance that the applicant is seeking that profession for personal growth and monetary gain, not so much the company's. If anything, a person who is honest about why want to work there is a better candidate than the person who merely says what the interviewer wants to hear. More often than not, it's better to have someone who will say what you need to hear than someone who would say what you want to hear.

Jeff, I'm going for a role at JPM personal banking, have you got any tips to, 'why do you want to work here?'
Great video
Thank you 😁
Me watching this as a 14 year old:
Hmmmmm intersting
Hahahaha well come back in 4 years! 😁
Money 🤑
Work life balance ♎⚖️
And facilities
is it ok to say that, "everyone dream is work in a great organization to showcased their talent and ability, and i thought it was the company suited for me to showcase my talent and skills (insert about the jobs description) that why i want to work in your company" ?
You're going to need to be more specific (since your answer might apply to literally any company)
Still waiting for an interview! Fingers crossed!
Best of luck Asher! You got this 😁😁
@@JeffSu Thank you Jeff! God knows I need it.
Do you have any suggestions on "Why do you want to leave the current company?"Or any key points to touch on? I will have two interviews tomorrow, so I can't wait for your whole video lol
Oh wow, good luck with the interviews tomorrow! So that's a whole other video haha but I think you want to touch on 3 key points that the new company has that is an EXTENSION of what you are doing now. For example, "I find that A, B, C builds on my capabilities I have developed here..."
@@JeffSu Went well!!!! I used your tips in the "do you have any questions for me"video. I've kept asking questions until he said: I need to leave. lol!! And then the interviewer said: I enjoy talking with you. I will send you a take home assessments. =_= I HATE take-home exam... I never liked exams....... struggle struggle.... Anyhow! Thank you for the tips!!!! Love them!
@@yalunsheng Hahaha that's great! Glad your interviewer enjoyed chatting with you (trust me questions work lol). It's okay, take-home assessments mean you can take it in a comfortable environment. Best of luck!
Valeu!
Thank you so much!!! 😁
Great video!!
Thanks Carlos 😁
To answer your question, I research on LinkedIn, the company website & RUclips.
What is your suggestion on formatting "Why do you want to work here?"
Love the RUclips part :)
If you're talking about how to structure (like the "Tell me about yourself" video or "Why are you a good fit for this role") I'd say the first 30-45 seconds should be about making that connection between the role and yourself, then around another minute or so on your growth mindset (with specific examples of course) and ending it out by reiterating your passion for the work you'd be able to do in the new role (of course your enthusiasm should be evident throughout)!
Hi jeff ..my name is inal and i was wondering if u can make videos on how new grades from overseas can get a job offer in the accounting team manger business (canada if possible)
Hi Inal :), check out my networking videos!
@@JeffSu thank you so much for your replay i will check it out .
Great information in 2024
Glad it's standing the test of time 😁
i want to work here because i need money and you need staff
LOL
lol. I am also an introvert doing sales for more than 10 years.
Nice! And how do you like it?
@@JeffSu I tried to change my career path to marketing since I’m much analytical and thought it was the right career path, but I quickly realized that sales is my true passion. The satisfaction of bringing the right product/solution to my clients is like no other. Being introvert actually plays at my advantage which makes me a better listener and builds trust with my clients.
@@56038ymw Wow, you literally just read my mind. I also realized in my 2 years as a salesperson that the BEST salespeople are the ones who are good at listening, not the ones best at talking. I'm so happy that you found a career path that you love!
@@JeffSu Ty Jeff. How about you? Did you enjoy doing sales? I’m actually not very good selling myself. Your videos and contents are very inspiring. Thank you for sharing!
@@56038ymw I enjoyed my time in the sales team but I also realized I enjoy running marketing campaigns even more!
I want to work because I don't want to be homeless I have to pay my rent.
Valid reason
I’ll never understand why we can’t just say “I’m just tired of not getting paid enough.” Seriously, we live in such a weird society. We cant be honest!
I mean...technically no-one's stopping you from saying that 😂
Do you have a short answer only is too complicated to follow your pattern
But short answers wouldn't do well during the interview...
@@JeffSu Some HR / Interviews are not fan with a long wording and not direct to the point because time and energy consuming for them.
@@JeffSu Anyway I have a template or sample but it is too long for me to memorize this essay interview.

The rule of thumb would be to keep your answer within 2 minutes :)@@JerryOhh

What does kpi mean?
Great question! My fault for not explaining. KPI = Key Performance Indicators. Basically how your performance is measured at work
Why are my legs asleep when I get up in the ,morning
You tell me
I find this question to be silly.
So...hate the game not the player? 😂
@@JeffSu the game sucks for sure, but we're kinda coerced into playing it anyway, with the alternative being starvation and homelessness
Dude you are talking too much and missing on key points.
Thanks for the feedback! What key points did I miss?

Sorry!
