Hey guys, just wanted to address the issue in this video -- you're absolutely right. Revenge P*rn is not okay in any capacity. I'm not really sure how I missed the entire point of that person's story but this was the 5th video I had filmed this day and I guess I wasn't paying attention because I was dealing with some pretty big personal problems and that's the reason I responded the way I did. I simply wasn't listening to the story. I know that's not an excuse but I am truly sorry if I offended anyone. It's clear that filming 5 videos in one day, especially when I'm not present and dealing with personal shit, is not good. Will do better, thank you for calling me out. I've removed that part of the video.

Hello, I'm assuming the Revenge Porn clips were removed, but there appears to be an issue with the audio. When watching this on my PC there is no problem, but when watching on a TV the audio for the Revenge Porn is still playing and pushing the audio for the rest of the video out.
I'm not sure how this would be addressed.

ETA: Charlotte Dobre has removed the clip from the video and the audio should be synced up properly now (it was for me when I checked.) I understand everyone makes mistakes sometimes, so please don't go after her harshly. She owned up to her mistake and took steps to fix it. Please treat her kindly because she is under a lot of stress.

Her manager picked this video out, charlotte watched and laughed at the video and her editor edited it and not one person was like "uhhh this girl is messed up, she admitted to a serious crime, maybe it's not a good idea to laugh and say that the girl deserved it because "actions have consequences".

Her manager picked out the vid, she reacted to it, and her editor edited it. Not one person decided to stop and go "hmmm maybe we shouldn't categorize a girl posting revenge vids as "petty". Sorry but nobody deserves to have a litteral crime against them, even if they said mean things. She shouldn't have put this in the vid to begin with.
A couple years ago, a girl in my class stole my blue pencil despite me telling her numerous times I wasn’t comfortable with her taking it home to color the background of a whole poster. I said this because the pencils were fairly expensive and I had gotten them as a birthday gift from my dad. Yet she STILL TOOK IT HOME without my knowledge. I found it a month later in her pencil pouch, and it was so small I couldn’t even sharpen it anymore (it was brand new). So for the next 4 months I stole every one of her blue pencils and she had no clue it was me. HA.

The porn one was not appropriate and needs to be treated as such. The adult that gave the 17 year old that idea is absolutely disgusting too. Being petty and criminal are not the same thing.
Please, please never share racy photos of anyone online. Even if you hate them. Two names come to mind for me. Amanda Todd and Rehtaeh Parsons. These were huge stories here in Canada. Photos of these two young girls in compromising situations were shared online which led to their suicides. No matter how angry you are at someone, this is not ok! It literally ruins lives. The internet is forever. Let’s be respectful of each other ❤️

The hacking and posting of illicit pictures admission by the one person is extremely illegal and not petty at all. Petty implies a funny, yet harmless type of response meant to shine a mirror on the person to which it is directed. Something to make people think, not something to criminally impose trauma.

I absolutely agree, but my take on it was they were “racy” pics, the type most teenage girls take in front of their besties, not nudes, because that would’ve been….p0rn. I think they were mostly embarrassing posing pics, not anything illicit, or there would’ve been legal repercussions. But this is just my take, having had a teenage girl.

@@MissCaraMint a good lawyer could get them classified as child pornography either way. Intention matters in cases of child pornography. That's why a parent can have the common photos of their child in the nude playing in the tub and it not be classified as cp. The act of releasing risqué photos of a minor with the intention to cause harm to the minor would get the photos classified as pornographic. the only way those photos would have successfully been percieved as innapropriate enough to cause harm would have been if they were risqué enough to have been perceived as sexual. The intention behind releasing them was to cause harm and to distribute photos of a minor risqué enough to harm the minor. It'd be classified as cp because of the intention behind releasing them.

Yeah gender isn't a part of it, in fact bullying played a big part in the initial laws. She'd have to prove it was someone else using her account though and not herself that did it which may be tough.

Not only was the revenge photos story revolting, but it also made me think more deeply about how a lot of other more minor petty stories are still people being unnecessarily mean and causing people unnecessary distress. I had a childhood friend who dropped me in our 30's because I wasn't "upholding my end" of the friendship. By that time we lived on opposite sides of the country and my 2 toddlers had been diagnosed with Autism. I tried explaining this, but she'd already blocked me. Made me realize how cr*ppy she'd been all our lives and I was better off.
The one about the girl posting the ex best friend’s private pictures is horrendous. There is a difference between being petty, and being flat out monstrous and a bully. I love you charlotte, but you seem to be forgetting the line between pettiness and bullying. I was bullied and this was just no. Knowing you were a bullied kid too, it was surprising to see you support this. Yes, the so called best friend was awful and what she did was cyber bullying. But the other girl turned around and did the exact same thing, except she did even worse then berate her online, she full on violated her privacy and got her sent to military school. Being mean to someone is not justification for committing a felony and ruining the other person's life. Sharing someone else's nudes without their consent is illegal on its own, but that is straight up distribution of child pornography.

I was in a petty marriage...i filed for divorce 20 years ago. He started it...got mad when i finished it. 1 good thing about petty ex hubs is he never let me get up without him actually getting up too. 1 example of us being petty is he once said i needed a bra for my ass lol...i told him he needed blinkers for his big ass nose to go around a corner. Lol we are friends (sake of daughter & grandson) we still talk ish lol its like brother/sister than ex's. I never comment under videos, but posting nudes online is not petty and a funny little revenge. That is a crime and so unreasonable hateful. She could have made her lost her flames or changed her name in a petty way. Pettiness should annoy them in a funny way, not hurting them for life! Even if things change or end, please be kind to eachother.

My husband doesn’t want to wake me early because that would be poking the bear in the zoo and since I stay up later, I can return the favor. We decided long ago, especially as our dogs aged and needed more frequent outside trips, that we would put our opposite to work and help each other out, fielding the problems (me late at night or him early in the morning) rather than being petty.

I had a creepy jerk stalk me on Facebook on a private money earning site. He made the mistake of putting not one but 2 of his email addresses on a post.
I of course screenshot them quick before a bunch of people told him to delete them. Seriously it was only like mere minutes they were up.
He would send me pms that were disgusting so I blocked him and my friends and I proceeded to sign him up for as many porn sites and religious sites and even scientology lol.
You know he just had to ditch those emails. He of course blamed it on an offer he did online for the earning site but my girlfriend screenshot all his complaints lol. Its a good thing it wasn't his address or he would have been signed up for everything lol
In many countries it's illegal to add people to mailing lists they didn't subscribe to. So when the "Karen's" complain about your company's illegal move you go take petty revenge? That's not the flex you think it is.
