    "Last chicken to roost closes the door" thats dependent on if the chicken feels like roosting or not and if its still alive.

      That is true. If your chicken is dead it can't roost. As far as if it feels like roosting, chickens pretty much do the same thing day in and day out. So if you have one that won't roost, it will always not roost. And yes, that could pose a problem.
