We are unboxing Yamaha's CLP-725. There are some assembly that needs to be done, but it is actually pretty straight forward. We recommend being at least two people when assembling the instrument especially when the top part needs to be lifted on top of the stand.
All you need for equipment is a screwdriver, and you are good to go.
Yamaha CLP-725 is a great entry/mid range digital piano with grade weighted keys with hammer action. And comes in a really light and pretty design.

hello, thanks for sharing the video of unboxing CL725. I have a question. Can you please help? According to my research, CLP725 looks similar to YDP164. However, the weight of CLP725 is 126kg, which is almost 3 times more than YDP164. Is it because the keyboard and the sound box are really that heavy? (08:23) or the stand itself is heavier than YDP164? Thanks.
If im not wrong, the CLP 725's keyboard+sound box = 43kg
How is the feel and sound when you get around to playing it? Very curious about picking one up, being that it's the latest addition of the clavinova at an entry level price. Just want to know what I'm getting. Any input is much appreciated! Thank you
The keyaction is very nice, its the same as CLP-735. It has a very responsive and "light" feeling. Lighter than the YDP-164 for example. The sounds are also great, it has a bit less "power" than the 735, but that's to be expected, when it is a smaller piano :)

@@saralarsson8447 Price-wise you should compare it to the CN-39 (the same keyaction as in the CN-29), but the CN-39 has a lot more functions compared to the CLP-725 :)
@@Digitalpianocom Yes I know! Kawai seems to be better value that way. But at the moment I can't try it unfortunately, But is the key action similar to the 725? Heavier or lighter? I find the YDP 164 a bit too heavy for me.

This shows me that I will never spend alot of money on one of these. They are just cardboard boxes with electronics in them..
