The GrandTouch found in the CLP-745/775/785/795GP features white keys constructed in a different manner to the Roland PHA-50:
    1) The PHA-50 has white plastic keys with thin wooden veneers on the side. You can see an official video from Roland in their presentation of the RD2000.
    2) The GrandTouch with wooden white keys, as well as its predecessor the NWX, are constructed differently from the PHA-50. Instead of being a plastic white key with thin wooden veneers on the side (PHA-50), the Yamaha white keys in the models mentioned above feature a chunk of solid wood that runs across the visible length of the key, and it is sandwiched by two plastic pieces that extend the entire (visible and hidden) part of the white keys.
There are many pictures online that prove this, and even a video (in Korean) of a person sawing a white key from Yamaha digital piano with the NWX action. You can see the person sawing the NWX action in all sorts of angles to prove it is, indeed, made of real solid wood.
The NWX and GrandTouch with white wooden keys are not like some Kawai wooden actions, where both keys are made of wood from start to finish (visible and hidden parts), plus the Kawai wooden white keys are completely made of wood. In that sense, the Kawai wooden actions would be the proper way to made wooden white keys.
However, it is incorrect to equate the Yamaha NWX or GrandTouch with wooden white keys to the Roland PHA-50.
The Roland PHA-50 is a plastic key with thin wooden veneer sides. The NWX and GrandTouch with wooden white keys are NOT constructed in that manner: they do feature a solid piece of wood with no plastic fillers inside that piece of wood, which runs from side to side (unlike the Roland PHA-50) and along the visible key length.
The best way to see this is by watching the videos (Korean language) of a man sawing the NWX action and by watching the official Roland PHA-50 video.
There is also a Danish website (in German) that shows a picture of the Yamaha CLP-745 action, and they credit the picture to Yamaha. It is clear that the GrandTouch-S in the CLP-745 has the same construction as the NWX, and there is also a website (Chinese) of a technician dismantling a Yamaha CLP-685 and showing the details of the white keys.
In summary: while the NWX and GrandTouch are not a single long 100% piece of wood (like some Kawai wooden actions), they are certainly not the same construction as the Roland PHA-50.
The Yamaha GrandTouch is a step above the PHA-50 for using a significantly larger amount of wood, not just a couple of thin wooden veneer on the sides of a plastic white key, but an entire chunk of solid wood. You can drill a hole from one side to the other and will find no plastic filler in between, as shown in the video cited above.
I don't put any links because my comment will be deleted, but they can be easily found online.

Do you guys notice any difference in the keyaction? It seems to me, that the action on the 725 is a bit more lighter/woobly than on the 735. I know Yamaha says, both Pianos use the same GrandTouch S keys. Any opinions?

@@aurorapinto9778 the 735 does sound very processed. Do they have the brightness control maxed or something? It's like an aggressive multiband compressor is on it.

Super video and beautiful pianos but not my cup of tea really. I prefer the more warmer sound of a Kawai or a Roland.

The white keys are wooden with plastic tops, as are the same with my p515. The Yamaha marketing material doesn’t say that the black keys are wooden, and they aren’t. The marketing says simulated ebony and ivory key tops.

@@thomasbrown7980 "The white keys are wooden with plastic tops": no they are not. Please update your false knowledge. They are made of plastic with wood elements. Yamaha themselves don't tell this lie of "wooden keys", but you and many others do.
And of course they don't say that the black keys are wooden, but again, "wooden keys" of yourse includes the black keys too. Because a piano has black keys too, you know?
