    It's worth mentioning that this piano has 16-track MIDI recording, plus binaural sampling on the main two voices. At under 2000 euros, it's great value for money. IMO, the 735 & 745 represent the sweet spot for home digital pianos. It's hard to find an upright this cheap which is worth having. The higher end digitals and hybrids are a bit harder to justify, because then you can afford a nice secondhand upright instead, which will hold its value.

    This model has an AUDIO LINE IN. Doing piano lessons by app/online, I believe this feature will be of great value; I plan to test this out in a few days. The Kawai CN 29 does not have a line in. For instance, Piano Marvel has many videos and backing tracks. Now I have to use a PA speaker to listen. Whereas with a line in, perhaps I could use the CLP735 speakers to listen alongside to the noise that I make! :)

    Thank you. Could you do a demonstration of the keyboard actions in the technical workshop. I would like to understand the difference between grandtouch, grandtouch-s and grandtouch-s with wooden inlay. Is it about the length of the key to the pivot point? A comparison with the Kawai Grand Feel III keyboard action would be interesting. How do they compare when playing the black keys or playing the white keys deeper into the keyboard between the black keys.

    In my opinion, the CLP-735 has a clearer sound. This is best seen in round 4, where the last note on the 745 is almost inaudible and does not sound nice, whereas on the 735 the last note is very clear and bright. In no round did I like the 745 better. What the others call a fuller sound on the 745, I find to be more muffled.

    Can you inform me about the height measurement from floor to the bottom part of the keyboard? I'm very tall and find most digital pianos don't 'fit', I can't use the pedals comfortably. From what I remember ~65 or 66 cm would just do. Thanks.

      This is the main question to me. I suggest kawai has a little edge over the Yamaha, but the Yamaha has way better piano sounds (if you ask me). But I only played the kawai. Touch was nice, but the sound wasn't that good to me (voices, not speaker wise)

      Bom dia... estou querendo adquirir este modelo CLP-735... Você que já o possui, o que está achando? Quais são os ponto mais positivos e o que você não gostou nele? --- Tenho uma dúvida: ele lê arquivos de MIDI completos? É que, pelo Manual, só o 785 e o 795 seriam compatíveis com os formatos GM/XG... Sendo assim, ele não teria os timbres pra executar os MIDIs com arranjos completos. É isso mesmo? --- Gostaria de ouvir sua opinão sobre o piano. Se preferir, pode responder via e-mail: juliofluminense@gmail.com. Desde já, obrigado pela atenção.

    Could somebody tell me if the CA79 is worth the thousand euros more then clp735?

    • @islaadele1212
      @islaadele1212 2 года назад

      Trying to figure out a similar question, Rick! Except I wanted to know if the CA79 was worth being twice the price nearly of the CN39. I've been listening to Yamaha demo videos a bit now, though, and I hate to admit it, but I think I prefer the sound. That Bosendorfer... Totally confused now. 😐

    • @rickw7523
      @rickw7523 2 года назад +1

      @@islaadele1212 Honestly, I believe the CLP 735 and even 745 is no match for the Ca79. The 735 action feels crusty and the ca79 really feels like a grand. For the sound, I also believe kawai did a way better job and achieved a way purer, natural sound. Since I felt the ca79 was out of budget for me I went with the MP7SE which has the same action as the kawai es920(little cheaper but no speakers!) And I own it for two months now and am very happy with it. I'm sure the Ca79 has some points better, but there's nothing lacking about the mp7se that could annoy me. Keep in mind this is my personal opinion.I hope you will find the piano you love.

      @@rickw7523 Thank you for the first helpful reply I've had! Think I'm starting to overthink this all. I'd love the CA99, but it comes in one piece and I couldn't get it up the stairs without killing either it or myself. It's also Very Expensive for someone who's barely intermediate standard on a good day. The CA79 would still be a big investment for me and I don't think I can justify it right now, so I think I might just go for the CN39 and a nice pair of headphones. It looks like the best value option, and I can't get snotty about plastic keys... I grew up playing the ricketiest spinet ever with a sticky middle C. Thanks for helping clarify things for me, easy to be seduced by the Yamaha's sound, but they do look very overpriced compared to Kawai and I've heard a few people say like you do that the action isn't on Kawai's level. I hope you're enjoying your piano!

    • @rickw7523
      @rickw7523 2 года назад +1

      @@islaadele1212 The standard advice is allways to buy the most expensive one you can afford, but just like you, I can afford the CA79 but was doubting if's worth it. How I currently see it,as a (beginner intermediate, some years of lessons and experience) I view the kawai MP7SE/CN39 as a 8/10 and the CA79 as a 9/10. Yes the CA79 is better and feels better, but the MP7SE is also a beautiful instrument. It does not give you more "handicaps" than the CA79 would. It might be a bit less exciting too play and a litttle bit less "real grand feeling" but in my opinion it's a great instrument and you won't go wrong with it. Best of luck

    Tony please, it is essential that proper DISCLOSURE be provided. What we hear on the video, is that from a microphone placed near the piano? Or from USB out connected to your computer??? I truly believe it is either a USB or Audio out that you use, and NOT a microphone! I have a home entertainment system with a microphone, mixer and PA speaker. I KNOW how a microphone sounds! Mine, an AKG, is so sensitive you can even hear a toilet flush down the hall! 😂😂😂
