Reasons why I bought my 745 was how it sounded thru headphones, how keyboard felt, bluetooth feature and overall Yamaha's reputation. No regrets other than my experience of the brass finish of the sustain pedal dulling out after 2 weeks of use. Minor issue cause my acoustic yamaha p22 sustain pedal looks the same way.

Have you compared the sound through headphones with other clp700 models?

@@thebig12conference67 blá blá blá blá ....The problem with the 745 is that the keys are super light which makes playing agonizing, the 735 has a much more realistic weight on the keys for a classical pianist. As for the speakers, I don't think it's relevant because they only serve to study at home both the 735 and 745, anything different from that you have to connect the piano to monitors to have the same quality as headphones.

@@thebig12conference67 I don't know the 765 but if you want to have a beautiful sound like when you use headphones, just manipulate your piano with the headphones input piece. Binaural sampling and you'll never want to play any piano with the piano's own speakers again.

@@thebig12conference67 it is better to buy the yamaha p 515 than the 745 p515 is a piano with keys with the ideal weight for a classical pianist .not to mention that the keys are very good for playing repeated notes i love the p515. The CLP 735 is also lovely if you manipulate it with the headphones piece. It has perfect dynamics and the keys reach the bottom of the key, it's as close as you can find to great acoustic pianos.

Great and helpful video. I would definitely buy the 745 model. I have a question. What is the color of the pianos in the video? I am not able to choose between satin black and rosewood. Which one looks nicer and more luxurious in real life. Thanks for your reply.

Hey Tony.. Do the key actions have the same down weight? Because with the NWX on clp 645 and GH3X on clp 635, the NWX felt slightly lighter to play. Is it the same case with these two models?

Because of the keys with wood parts (they're not 100% wood) on the 745 they probably don't have exactly the same feel or down weight

How does it compare to a stage piano in terms of sounds? CP88

    • @RyanHicks306

I have a CP88 and I’ve played both models (735 and 745). Theoretically, same same sample but through headphones the 735/745 are stunning with the binaural sample. 745 has a more powerful sound system and is a pleasure to play. They also have wonderful action. It’s really apples and oranges as CP88 has great voices (Nashville Piano is my favorite) and is a stage piano. It’s awesome at what it does

Can anyone help me? Im currently using a Yamaha P115 but it's been faulty, intermittent no sound. Looking to get a new digital piano but I'm stuck between getting a Kawai or a Yamaha. Looking at the CN-39 or CLP-745. My main concern on the Yamaha is the heavier action key. I'm only a beginner and having a heavier action key to play on can be quite tricky. Which would you get?

as a begginer player u should play on heavyer keys for you hand's muscle development
if you play on "lighter keys" you will feel a good diference when you play on a accustic piano because its heavier.
