Thank you Ralph for the great video. I was choosing between the two, favoured the claw due to the larger strap compatibility but eventually chose the slot down engagement of the falcam rather than the claw. I feel that its more secure
Quite the dilemma, Ralph. For ease of use (in terms of release) the Falcam has it; I don't like the idea of having to 'plug-in' the Claw - it's just too fussy. Great comparison - Happy New Year to you & yours !
@@RalphMayhewPhotography Have you tested the Falcam to see if the 3 Legged Thing ZELDA (with additional Peak Design clip) or ELLIE PD (built in Peak Design Clip) will fit? Great video by the way.
@@RalphMayhewPhotography Wow, so the Zelda slots into the Ulanzi Falcam, that's brill news. I dare say the Ellie PD does too then, I think they are both the same in dimensions. As I use the Falcam F38 Quick Release Camera Strap Clip I was hoping these L-mounts would fit. Thank you so much for replying
haha you don't think so?? lol Well re. 1:51 as you'll see from the video and me doing it, that is how it is. Not sure what else to say about it... Also not sure what that's not being prepared???
A few seeming repetitions/ contradictions in scoring. But when reviewing black products, try not to wear a black shirt and have a black wall background.

As I've toyed with both over the months, I reckon the slot down Falcam will come out on top in the long run. Good choice.
I read a comment where somebody had changed the bolts for regular screws so the star shape didn't dig in anymore.
Oh that sounds clever.
I was making a decision. You helped. I like how you left in your ooopes...
Haha. Thanks mate. Great to hear.

I think you’re right. My experience has mimicked your conclusion 👍 HNY to you too!
I would consider many would wish for expediency, Ralph.
the falcam losens if bumped it's very annoying. You tighten it all the way and one bump and the bottom is lose.
That does sound annoying :(
i like pgytech snaplock adapter
I haven't heard of their product. Can you comment a link :)
Wonderful review, Brother! Thanks so much Legend!
Thanks heaps Jon. I don’t think people really need this vid given it’s terrible viewage reception lol.

@@PortugalCarp thanks Phil. The Zelda with additional clip works. That’s how I use it 👍

I don't understand why the falcam doesn't have a d ring screw?
Me neither.
Falcam heavier on camera if using two, one for horizontal on smallrig and another for vertical?
Yes but only marginal. Biggest challenge is the feel of it in your hand and how it sits in your bag.
Black background, Back shirt, hard To see black objects
Thanks mate. No one’s told me that but it’s very helpful for future vids. I appreciate it.
@@RalphMayhewPhotography If you had a backlight it might solve that problem, itll outline you
@@khaitran755 yeah totally. My lighting set up now is way better than back when I made this 👍
True!
whatever you choose, it will be better and cheaper than peakdesign
Haha not a fan of peak design?
1:51 you are get it wrong dude, your not prepare, ohhhh by the way 0:11 you better not 😂

@@darkonovevski3113 haha oh I see. That was a long while ago. Hopefully now I offer better reviews 🤞
Good review. I think the loser should have been given a point just for the name, CLAW.
Haha this is very true!
Haha Love it points for being prettier
Hehe someone has to call it lol

Fair call. This video was shot years ago tho 🤷🏼♂️
