Welcome to the Allett owners club. After a couple of months playing around with my grass, over seeding it, feeding etc my first proper mow with my Allett really showed the lawn off. I have an Allett 14 Kensington and I love it. My suggestion for future content would be to show how the different cassettes available fir this mower can greatly improve your lawn. I have just purchased the verticutter and it did a great job. I’ve had the scarifier for a few years now and it really helps to prep the lawn in early spring. If you want any other info please ask. I’d add a photo if I new how. Chris
Hi chris thanks for that, I'm looking at the Scarifier and verticutter cartridges myself. Do you find yourself using the verticutter regularly during the season say monthly? And then using scarifier only for moss removal end and start of seasons?
Garden Lawncare Guy. Yes, start and end of season with scarifier and I will use the verticutter monthly but I haven’t had it long enough to see the results
Just found your channel. Thank you thank you thank you. So many people in the U.S. , but not many in the UK providing content. Sadly I really wanted to invest in a cylinder mower like yours, but I just don't have a garden that is flat enough. I ended up deciding on a Stiga Twinclip 55 S-R H BBC Self-Propelled. Great machine but heavy. I've been renovating my 3rd of an acre gardens lawn, so i'll be keeping an eye on your channel. Thanks again. Looking forward to more content and tips to help me. Cheers.
Hi I’m currently looking to purchase a mower to replace my broken flymo. I have been advised to get a mountfield princess or a wolf garten. I do like the look of the BOSCH as I have been borrowing my friends one. My lawn is ever so small. 2.4m x 6.9m. Which would you recommend
A premature congratulations on a very well deserved 5k! I remember this time last year you only had a handful. It always amazes me how quick this channel is growing, every time I come on it seems to have doubled 😂😂. I’m hoping for a meet up video with The Lawn Care Nut next year 😄
You cannot beat a Allett cylinder mower, i use a Rotary if the grass is high then the cylinder to get the Best cut. The Allett range are excellent i personally use the Allett liberty 43.
Top Man, can’t wait to see some Allett content. I have a Hayter S/P 41. But really want a Reel mower, i have some work to do levelling my lawn before I can get one. Also Thanks for the shout out👍🏾
@@GardenLawncareGuy Yeah Allett are swamped with orders, there's a wait for the cartridges as well. Very best of luck with your 17L. Just ordered one of the Bosch manual mowers too, as Ryan Knorr got good results using his Greenworks manual mower for the first cuts after seeding a new lawn, as there's no front roller - just a nice clean cut.
Wow, love the mower, brings back memories of my dad with his old Suffolk Punch. Alas when I inherited it is was well past it sell buy/use by date. I have a Bosch too, but corded. Damn your making me look at those now! Looking forward to what you have in store for us coming up ready for the Autumn.👍

Good video! I'll be interested to see how you get on with the cylinder. I've got an aging Victa Swordsman cylinder mower. Hoping to see how a cut looks once my new lawn is established. I've worked hard over the last couple of weeks getting the new soil surface flat & levelled. A1 Prem Pro is down and I'm watering it 3-5 times a day to keep it moist. Looking forward to having a lawn once again. Fingers crossed. Well done on (nearly) 5K too, good channel growth, a sign of great content hitting the right audience.

Ah, you're a cheshire lad... I bought the idenctical (aside from the Kawasaki engine) Qualcast 17sk Suffolk Punch from Cheshire back in June 👀. Fantastic lawnmower, and looks identical to yours as said.

Looking good at 25mm, I've just got a new Allett Liberty 43 cordless mower and i;m loving the clean cut.

Should I get a hand push mower? My lawn is very small 4x4 metres.

The Allett has done a superb job. How low do you realistically think you'll be able to go with it?
I've haven't done much levelling on my lawn and there are some peaks, id say around setting 3 at 16mm before some work was needed probably

Will take awhile to lower the height because of scalping and going lower slowly but your lawns are going to look like Wimbledon with that mower👍
have been dropping it over a few weeks the first two cuts looked ugly but its getting better for sure

Yeah, i really wanted the liberty but such high demans right now and also this one popped up locally and I decided to go for it.

Yah I saw that, one if the reasons i got it to try, put it on high for a new seeded area will test this autumn
