I need to sharpen my Bosch hand mower as I've had it for a year and I mow three areas of lawn.
I've watched you tube videos on how to do this, but they mainly take a wheel off and I don't like to do this.
I'm going to buy a flat file as this seems the easiest method though rather painstaking.
Can using grinding paste and pushing lawnmower in reverse (backlapping) work just as effectively as taking a wheel off and using a drill?
No lawn mowing shop will sharpen the blades, one shop outside the area will, but at a cost higher then the price of the lawn mower.
It's an excellent grass cutter but needs sharpening urgently.
Going reverse will not engage the blades to turn. Sadly not many expertise out there to do blade sharpening for this.

how has been your experience with using this mower? I am considering purchasing it but not sure if the blades stay sharp or it is sturdy enough. Did you also need blade sharpner later on ?
So far so good. Hasn't needed any sharpening yet. Just needed to tighten / tune after a while
I see you also didn’t get washers for the bin mounts bolts. Says they should be included in the manual.
Less concerned now.... Any issues after a year or so?

This is one of the better videos for showing the assembly of this machine - but you don't show how to adjust the height! As a mere woman a visual demonstration would be good!
