Same. I’m too paranoid about other people moving my makeup lol and if I break it I will be mad at myself.
I would hate to think of product cracking. Handbags and makeup in car.

I can not believe how hot it is there that early in the am. It is actually raining in Texas. I sure hope that y'all never move from your new house. Can you imagine packing that humongous house lol? My dog gets so excited everytime Butters squeezes her toy😂😂

I moved last year. Moved my makeup, perfumes, fragile items, and valuables myself.
Yup and shoes. In hindsight my liquor as well. My movers stole 3 bags of liquor from me. Most of.which I bought duty free while traveling so I could not get back. So yeah. Liquor too.

I know how stressful and all consuming a move is so… I wanted to express how lovely I think it is that you took the time to share this day with us. Since the pandemic, my life has changed drastically. Living vicariously through my RUclips friends has become an important part of my day! Thanks again!

Our in-ground pool is our life in the Summer!!!! Our 2 grandbabies 3 and 1 live in it and Oh My Lord they are adorable!!
Every time I see your new home I still can't get over how beautiful it is! The process of moving is a pain in the ass, but it will all be worth it. Just watching Butters running around was terrific and you'll get to see those zoomies everyday! 😊❤🐾

I’ve been packing all day too and my hair looks the same!! Good to know we were both productive! When you said, “If it’s not in a box I’m at the point of throwing it out” I felt that in my soul!!!!!

Your vlogs are so hilarious and so exciting! I just love your new house and love seeing your decorating choices!! Good fun! I know packing is such pain but it’s worth it in the end! We renovated our whole house about 10 years ago and moved half our stuff in storage and the rest we used while renting a residence townhouse at our local university that was five minutes away from our home. We stayed there for 4 months in the summer. That was an experience I never want to live again!! It was all worth it though! You’ll see! You’re doing fantastic Michele!!

Thanks again for sharing, I'm loving this. When you were talking about all the paperwork for your father's passing, I think that should be a lesson for Estate Planning. There are professionals that can help there are books you can buy. My father passed 3 years ago and my mother had all the planning done or so she thought. My sister has worked so hard to do exactly what you're doing. It is a lot! Bless you, for dealing with all of this.

And the window treatment samples standing next to the backsplash tile look fabulous, too. Difficult decisions. But your choices are so tasteful and elegant. Beautiful.
I have a pool for 40 years. Once u get it cleaned and water is balance , get a kit from pool supplier and u can see if your chlorine is up to par, then once a month is enough to have service ,

Hang in there! You've got this. I moved from New England to Atlanta last fall. We sold our house, purchased a condo, moved, and renovated during COVID. I totally agree about the tape gun!!! One thing, make sure you have a box cutter in your purse on move day. When you start opening and taking down move boxes, you want it handy.

Two years ago, my 24 year old Whirlpool refrigerator died - actually the freezer died. So I went to Lowes - 5 min. from my house - and bought another Whirlpool - except the salesman said, this one should only last 8 years. The following day, the refrigerator was delivered - I told my friend "when u get old - refrigerators are very exciting." I also get excited when I order shoes on-line because I wear size wide - and most of my life, my feet were never comfortable. So - when I receive new shoes and they fit -- that also excites me. Happy Moving Michele. I moved around 7 times --- all by myself -- the last move was 20 years ago and I don't know how I survived it all.

Moving does make one take pause...oye vay. I still have a box from 1980, that for what ever reason never got unpacked. I have moved it 9 times, and it sits in my attic. Every year since 1996 ( our last move ) I have said I really need to unpack that box. Well, here's to 2021 being the year! Good luck with all the unpacking Michele!

I've been meaning to say this for a long time, but I love your hair. I stopped dyeing my hair 18 months ago, and though I'm a few years younger I'm definitely more grey. You inspire me to be confident in my beautiful greying hair (and my hair has never been so healthy or frizz-free curly)

Gosh, that’s a lot of makeup! But, it’s justified when you are a You Tube star! I have way too much as simply a beauty enthusiast who is one of your many fans. Very happy for you Michele! Lovely new home and wish you and your hubby many happy years enjoying it! And, of course, Butters too. Bona is the way to go for cleaning your wood floors. Take as many of your personal items over as possible, so you won’t be subjecting them to damaging temperatures. Moving is never fun. But in the end, it’s all worth it. And I’m sure your mom appreciates your assistance. Take care!
If you need an assembler, I officially volunteer...I even have my own power screwdriver that I bought to do some projects in my condo, LOL! Now I just need it to knit the rest of my weekender for me before winter :)

My husband and I went to get a new washer/dryer last week and both were in stock. Before we even left the store, my husband remembered we needed a gas one too. Of course the gas one we now have to wait a month for. Your new house is beautiful!

Stack the filled plastic boxes in the back of the SUV. Move them into the new house then move the plastic shelves and reassemble easily in your forever home.

You are doing great Michelle! 👍 moving is not easy. Do what feels right to you in the new house (I adore the new outlet plates). I highly recommend Neutrogena 100 SPF spray. It will keep your feet protected and easy spray on every 2-3 hours. Stay cool 😎
