I agree with you. Luxury bags and SLGs are easily duped. Very few luxury designs can't be found elsewhere for the same quality or better. Coach has been right on the money with their releases. Personally, I've been delving into vintage. Vintage Coach, Bally, and Marc Jacobs. I've realized I care more about leather and quality than anything else. I don't need to pay $$$ for that.
If I buy luxury, it's preloved or vintage now. I just practice patience for the right price drop. Coach has been my go to this fall though. The styles have been sooo good!
This is such a great video! Just my two cents. I had a string of bad luck with the quality of Tory Burch and Kate Spade bags. The material didn’t hold up, the straps tore off, or the leather began to degrade. I will always choose LV over these bags for quality reasons. Coach is another matter! I think Coach is the best manufacturer of leather accessory goods hands-down! I’ve worn my bags for years and they still look new. I still love my luxury bags, but Coach is simply the best to me. Possibly Henri Bendel when it was still around was a close second.
I agree 100% I went to a kate spade outlet and was very surprised at the price and quality.i found the perfect satchel bag for under 150! Excellent video 😊

Thank you for such great video. I think the question is when buying handbags are you purchasing for the moment or years to come. Sometimes depending on the brand you have to factor out personal preference and reasoning of how much you are willing to spend on a handbag and keep in your wardrobe. Some handbags do not provide longevity craftsmanship or value. Stay blessed ❤
Sadly if you take the logo out none of these luxury bags have any value Money is all for the logo I still think there is dedication and craftsmanship involved in making some of these bags (not all ofcourse) But I think majority of money is only for the logo Best to shop more from closet rather than following trends and buying bags after bags .. Great video! I completely agree with your viewpoint. I purchase a lot of contemporary bags ie Coach which is my favorite. However, I will splurge on LV, Gucci and Saint Laurent. However with these prices being so high I just can’t stomach $3K plus bags. I too don’t discriminate and find that I prefer Coach over most brands anyway. I can have a variety of bags without paying a mortgage payment lol 😆. Also, you also have influenced me a lot lol 😂 I recently stalked that Nike jumpsuit and was finally able to purchase it. Now I’m considering the Coach cargo bag. We have similar taste. Love your style! 😊💕

i don't own any "luxury" brand bags, i have a lot of coach because it's affordable luxury. I had a kate spade purse but i gave it to my friend, it was too small for me but i liked the color and style, i ended up getting something from coach that was bigger. I noticed a few years ago that coach has dupes for a lot of luxury bags at a much better price and often leather instead of canvas. I have a rouge 25 which gives lady dior vibes, i have a few single flap bags that are similar to LV purses and i am not paying $1k+ for a bag. Often if you don't get a specific strap that another bag gives you can get something from amazon thats similar and will work.

Coach and Tory Burch are considered Mid - luxury . Most luxury brands can be of an investment, but hold value making luxury items a better buy. Coach and Tory Burch lose their value immensely and can never be sold like an Hermès , Chanel or LV at a premium cost.

I love this video. I just got into handbags in general over the past year and I love coach! I have a luxury wishlist, but at this time in my life, im going to keep it at coach 😅
I do have genuine leather bags from other brands luxrul I get what I want without paying exorbitant designer prices. That's the point. It's not about the superficial, it's about getting what you like at a price you like.
I guess, the quality should be up there for the price. I wonder how much their labor costs and the materials to make those bags. Do they pay the manufacturer or laborers well or it’s cheap labor etc

Saffiano leather is no better than canvas imo. It’s cheap leather, heavily coated with plastic the same way that canvas is. I would prefer LV to Coach saffiano. The higher priced Coach bags do have nicer leather but I just can’t get into their designs and logo. For leather I prefer Chanel, Bottega & Loewe.

Coach & Tory are luxury as well. But contemporary. I also feel the tory slim saddle is way more similar to celine than the LV.
