  • A brief range review with my Gen 3 Glock 20 SF. This was the first time I had fired this gun since installing the Talon granulate grips on it. This was certainly not the best shooting I have ever done, but I still had a blast as always.

    11:41 EXACTLY. They should've dropped the prices of the Gen 3's by now because it's making no sense Value wise if we literally Enhance Everything 😂😂😂😂😂❤

    Hello Preacher 357 ! I really enjoy watching videos of you shooting your guns .Based on your extensive experience with handguns, is 10mm louder than 357 magnum or they are roughly the same in this respect ?

    • @Preacher357
      @Preacher357  5 месяцев назад

      In my experience 357 is louder. However, generally I don't load 10mm as hot as 357. At their maximum loadings the 2 rounds produce pretty much identical muzzle energy. Therefore, I would assume that 10mm would be close to the same decibels if loaded hot enough. However, given that 41 Magnum and 44 Magnum are both just slightly less loud than 357, I would bet 357 would still be louder than 10mm. There is a high pitched, ear piercing "crack" that 357 seems to have that other rounds (even 44 Mag) don't have.

      @@Preacher357 thank you very much Sir ! I hear that .357 Sig does have quite a bark also, but I have not had a chance to shoot this round yet! Do you have any experience as to how loud is 357 sig compared to 10mm , knowing that the former has higher velocity ?

      @@ltib8660 I have honestly never had any experience with 357 SIG.

    I am a new subscriber. Can you do a video on the particular hardcast bullets that you have been using in Glock's? If you did a video already I apologize, as I didn't see a video on it. Thank you for your time / videos.

      I have talked about them some in previous videos, but I have never done anything specifically on the projectiles I load. I may see about maybe posting a #short video showing those. Thanks for watching and subscribing.

    Nice review! I have the same gun (w/o the Talon grips). I love it and shoot it better than any of my other Glocks. I seem to have the same problem with those elusive targets..I always have trouble hitting them until my last shot :)

    The G20 can shoot 10mm and 40

      I think I demonstrated that in the video, but I could be wrong. It has been a while since I recorded this one. It can shoot 40...although there is debate over whether you should do it, because the 40 will not properly headspace in a 10mm chamber.

    Hi Preacher 357. Another fine video of a fine handgun and caliber. If I were healthy like you and would be out in the forrest deer hunting I'd have this gun. Another trouble is the ammo is so high priced. Do you have any trouble finding ammo for it. I've handled that gun before and it's, to my hand anyway, seems a good bit heavier than the 9 mm glocks that I've owned and shot. Fine gun and video. ............I'm having eye surgery for both eyes for caraact removal. Would appreciate your prayers. Take care. OH, and I so appreciate your membership and promotion of GOA and TFA. I"m a member and promoter of both. So very important.

    I would think if you had a Walther PDP or Canik TP9 you would be nailing those little targets and that long one. The Canik has probably the best out the box striker fired trigger I’ve ever shot. Are your Glock sight still stock?

    • @Preacher357
      @Preacher357  2 года назад

      Yes. The only change I have made is the talon grips. I have never tried the new Walthers. I have heard good things about them. I need to get a Canik on the channel soon. They do have really good triggers on them. Usually I shoot Glocks fairly well. This just was not my day I guess. To be honest, though, the 4 inch and 3 inch plates can be hard for me to hit with just about any handgun. They are so small that the sights completely cover them at 20 yards if you hold dead on.

    Shooting too fast causes that missing.

    • @Preacher357
      @Preacher357  2 года назад +2

      I know. It is easy to see when I watch the video back. In the moment though, I don't realize how fast I am pulling the trigger. It's not that big of a deal on the bigger plates, but those small targets require more concentration...at least for me.
