Calanques - Ep1 - Hiking from La Madrague to Luminy

A short summary of a beautiful hike in the Parc National des Calanques.
Itinerary:
• La Madrague de Montredon (last stop of the 19 bus line)
• Béouveyre
• Col des chèvres
• Sommet de Marseilleveyre
• Col de la Selle
• Sommet Ouest de l’homme Mort
• Calanque de Sormiou
• Sentier des crêtes de Morgiou
• Calanque de Morgiou
• Luminy (last stop of the B1 bus line)
It took us 8h with breaks and filming to hike 17km with 1155m of elevation gain.
There are a few vertical passages, this might not be adapted for someone who is scared of heights.
A few recommendations if you plan on doing this hike:
• Start early
• Wear appropriate shoes
• Take a lot of water (we usually take : 2.5L in winter, 3.5L in summer per person)
• Protect yourself from the sun, there is almost no shade
• Plan your hike and bring map/gps app
• Check the weather forecast
