Calanques - Ep2 - Hiking from Cassis to Marseille (Luminy)

A short summary of a beautiful hike in the Parc National des Calanques.
Itinerary:
• Cassis Gendarmerie (last stop of BUS M8)
• Port Miou
• Port Pin
• Calanque d'En Vau
• Col du Devenson
• Col de la Candelle
• Luminy (last stop of the B1 bus line)
A few recommendations if you plan on doing this hike:
• Start early
• It can be really busy in summer, especially in En Vau
• Wear appropriate shoes
• Take a lot of water (we usually take : 2.5L in winter, 3.5L in summer per person)
• Protect yourself from the sun, there is little shade
• Plan your hike and bring map/gps app
• Check the weather forecast

Hi there, this is a wonderfull hiking tour, but it’s not the complete crossing of the calanques. You should have continued passing Morgiou, Sormiou, Podestat, Marseilleveyre to arrive in Callelongue or even Samena or Les Goudes. Anyway, thx for sharing👍👍☀️

Yes, that's correct!
We did a first episode where we hiked from Samena to Luminy 🙂, you can find it on our channel.
This fall, we will try to film a third episode from la Ciotat to cassis.
After that, we plan to do some more episodes kayaking:
Les Goudes - cassis
La Ciotat - Cassis
Le tour de Frioul
And maybe le tour de Riou
