    👍👍 Preparing for my 2 months stay in Marseille I watched a lot of videos on RUclips. Yours are by far the best ones!! Informative, entertaining, charming, well filmed and edited, perfect balance of spoken and non spoken passages, good music! Thank you for your videos!

      Thanks again Maria! I'm glad the Marseille videos were able to provide useful information for your upcoming trip and some entertainment. Your kind words mean a lot to me as a content creator. Have a great day and all the best! Hopefully I will see you & talk to you again in another one of our future adventures and certainly let me know how you like Marseille after staying there for 2 months!! 🙂🙏

    I spent 6 days in Marseille, last June. I loved it so much! I was surprised how at home I felt. I didn’t know about this boat tour. I definitely want to do that, on my next trip. My nephew goes to university there, and I was there to see him and his brother. The 1st day of summer, June 21st is a total vibe! I just outdoor cafe hopped, and spent a lot of time along Cours Julien, a couple of French-Algerian bars my nephews took me to, and a trip to Aix. I feel like a person could easily spend 2 weeks there. As a single woman, I would probably go in at 1-2, but with my nephews and their friends, I was escorted to my accommodation at 3am. There was never a problem where I stayed. I didn’t find it very touristy, other than the Vieux Port area.

      I had the same feeling. I thought Marseille was just a city for passing through, but only found out that it's at least a week long destination. I feel like the surrounding areas, like Aix, Cassis , and the rest of Provence, requires at least another month for me to truly appreciate. They say life surprises us in places we expected the least. Well, that was Marseille & Provence for me. Thank you for sharing and I hope you'll get to experience this amazing city & region again very soon! 🙏

    I was in Marseille for one week and it was not enough. It has so many nice places and the water quality excellent to swim.

      Yeah now after seeing what the area offers, I can totally imagine myself just hiking around the calanques for a week - let alone all other amazing things in the broader Provence region. I'm very confident that one day y'all get to see a video series about Provence....

      Thank you so much for watching 🙏. I bought the ticket at the Old Port and the boat tour departs right next to the ticket office. Hope this helps!

    Hi Sayu. That looks amazing. I will be there in September 2023. Can you remember the name of the boat company? I can only see small motor boat or yacht trips. Thanks so much. I’m really enjoying your videos. (I’m from Melbourne, Australia)

      Hello Brenton thanks for watching! 🙏. unfortunately I do not know the name of the company as I bought my ticket on the spot at their ticket office at the old port....I tried to look up a company online but none of them offered tours in November (and they were much more expensive...). If you are interested in the same tour, I think it's best to just visit their ticket box once you are in Marseille! (I don't think there was another ticket office apart from the Frioul archipelago ferries)

    Hi great vid. Planning to go there. Can you go one way? ie bus there and boat back or vis versa?

    • @SayuRinpoche
      @SayuRinpoche  5 месяцев назад

      Hi thanks for watching 🙏 it's a boat tour and you'll view the Calanques from the boat/sea only. There might be other tours and let you get on a shore, but not this one. There are buses that will bring you close to some of the Calanques I think

    This looks so beautiful! We made the same mistake of planning very little time in Marseille. How long does the whole boat ride take?

    • @SayuRinpoche
      @SayuRinpoche  Год назад +1

      The tour was slightly over 3 hours in duration. Now knowing that such a beautiful place like the Calanques were right by the doorsteps of Marseille, I think next time I visit, it'll be focusing on this amazing natural wonder!

      Thanks for all the information! Was it a big boat? Worried about getting seasick.
