    It is a very hunmbling experience to spend time, cook, make camp or do crafts in the wild. And this experienced is amplified by the fact that most of the gear, items and clothing I bring is made by me. If not made by me then made by good friends. Either way all of if is based on findings from the viking age. Replicas, reproductions or interpretations of things know from and used in the viking age. It creates a very wholesome athmosphere where I can set my self free from the present time. No plastic, nothing digital and no static noice. I find a sincere sense of peace like this. Its a good way to take a mental break but also to explore and experience on my own body and in my own hands how the past could have felt. How the gear works, how the tools operate and hoe the clothes feels. Another kind of Viking Reenactment. Im very happy to be able to take you along for this short trip to one of my favourite places. And I hope you will want to share the experience with me.

    Another gorgeous video my friend! You got some wonderful shots there, you're really capturing how beautiful this environment is!
    I love the philosophy you're describing, I couldn't agree more. We're assailed from all sides by modernity, technology, work, advertising - it's utterly exhausting because it's not what we're built for. The sight and sound of lush greenery and flowing water soothes our spirit, as it would have to our ancestors.
    Thank you for bringing us along on your journey my friend, I am now raising a cup of home-brewed mead in your honour. Skål!

    It would be possible to know the recipe for the bread. You have some great videos. Thank you

    • @RAMUNI-Viking
      @RAMUNI-Viking  2 месяца назад +1

      Hello:) The bread in this video is just a few deciliters of wheat flour and a tiny bit of ale. Add the ale slowly until the dough sticks together and can be shaped by hand. then fry untill crisp on both sides. Or fry it till the colours look tasty and enjoy:) Hope this makes sense:)

      Do you mean the leather flask? It was made by Krohns Kruk a swedish historical cheramist. Should turn up on Google. Very skilled and good quality products. Thanks for watching
