Congratulations, it was a big step but you were able to overcome that fear and you sure can be proud of yourself. A great step for you, and a really nice video for us your subscribers. Be well , cheers! :)
We have many many birds of prey that live on the mountain behind our home. They are amazing creatures. It is spectacular to watch their families mature and take to flight. They fly over and call to us as they have gotten to know us. They even have landed on the porches to momentarily visit and peek at our lives too. It is a special gift to watch them fly and hunt. Thank you for this video. It is so good to learn more about them. Thank you for sharing your fears and triumphs, RUMUNI. Much enjoyed!! 😊👍
that sounds so amazing. You are lucky to have that where you live:) They are special being indeed. I often come across a hawk on a tall dead tree or something on my walks in nature. They sit perfectly still but as soon as I get the camera ready they decided that the show is over and take off. In a way they are so private and yet they know they are the star of the show. Thank you for the comment Wyo:) as always a pleasure to read and respond to:)
As a girl, I once went to a thing at the zoo. They had eescure birds of prey. During one of the demonstrations, a bald eagle flew so close I could hear tbe feathers on the air. Fell in love them right then. ❤
Thank you for sharing this story with me Melissa. I like it. I remember being at bird shows and ducking down in fear as they flew over. Now with time its still with an element of anxiety but also admiration. All the best:)
Did you know that you can teach Ravens to speak ! , Its an Intelligent Bird , and lives up to 90 years of age , how amazing is that , and they mate for life too .
Such beautiful and majestic creatures! I'm glad you are working on overcoming your fear of them; we all have fears and it takes great inner strength to face one's fear head-on like this. May the old gods grant you their wisdom and strength my friend! 👍
Those birds are so majestic ❤. I’m very impressed with how you faced your fears over birds. I’m that way with spiders. I’ve developed an appreciation for them over the years and let them be when I come across them. However, idk if I’ll ever get to the point where I’ll let one walk on me. Bravo! We’ll done you. Thank you for sharing this experience with us❤
Thank you for the feedback. Its a funny thing with these phobias and often we are also attracted to what scares us. I hope you get a chance to challenge your phobia one day and I know you will feel so proud and strong after - cause i did. All the best LilyKat:)
Hello. Thank you so much:) im happy you found the video, delighted that you took the time to watch it and I appreciate you taking the effort to write me. All the best:)
Richard ll Plantagenet once bought a Gyrfalcon for the price (in modern currency) of 35.000€. We have lots of Red Kites in our village surrounding. Sometimes one sits on my roof. They keep the rodents and pigeons at bay. Down the road tiny owls are living in the forest. You often can hear them calling. I wish I had an tiny owl nesting in my garden. I am an huge fan of birds of prey - and all the other birds.
Hello:) thats really interesting, it tells something of the value of these majestic birds. Red kites are so beautiful. we have them around here too. I consider myself lucky if a bird of prey lets me get close or get a good enocunter. Because I know it was their decision. There is no way you could sneak in on them like with deers.
