Just as a disclaimer, this video does not constitute medical advice so do your own research and/or consult your doctor before taking these supplements. The aim with this video was to provide an objective view of the research behind these supplements!

Not sure what everyone is using in terms of a brand, and I thought I share my experiences with NMN supplements. I have been using NMN for about 11 months, I am a 68-year-old male and I have tried over 20 different brands. The only one that seems to work for me personally is Probase Nutrition NMN Powder, simply because they are a well-known California brand, and I had their NMN independently tested for purity and impurities. Theirs came in at 99.89% purity and had zero lead in it. It seems some people on here have used Probase (the brand) NMN as well and they seem to be happy as well. Hope this helps!

Dr. Hayes is too young to notice the benefits. I felt like a kid until I was in y 40s. At about 55, I started feeling a bit old. At 67 I started taking TruNiagen. In about 2 months I started feeling like I was back to something like my mid-40s. I have heard similar stories from friends who ran out of it for a week or two. My friends and I simply don't get colds or the flu generally, and two who did, had short mild versions. Another friend had skin grafts after flesh-eating bacteria surgery. The doctor had never seen 98% acceptance of the grafts. A couple got bronchitis yearly, but haven't had it since they started supplementing with NR. I know two people whose neuropathy has been brought under control - one from chemotherapy and one from Lyme disease. I take TruNiagen, which is less expensive than Basis, and doesn't have the pterostilbene, that can raise LDL levels.

Wow, that's very interesting. I truly appreciate that you emphasize this is not medical advice or something "proven" with experiments or well designed cohort studies/trials.
I would personally be very interested in a video on a similar topic: are there supplements or interventions that can help/aid in sports injury recovery or general soft tissue growth/repair? More specifically, supplements or interventions that similarly work at the cell/protein level that can play a role in improved recovery time or growth when not injured. Muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, etc.
AFAIK, the typical supplements suggested for these are calcium, magnesium, zinc, collagen, amongst others, but it is my understanding that these supplements (or precursors) are mostly excreted and are better absorbed through a balanced diet. Are there any novel chemicals of interest here?
Really enjoying this channel, will share it with friends!

There are peptides but they need to be injected; BPC-157 is one example. You can buy them but they haven't been extensively tested in humans. @Curious Doc can maybe shed more light.
There's also secretagogues of growth hormone which help with recovery, but again not too much research.
Keith Baar has had good results from pairing collagen with vitamin C and slow eccentric loading.

I can also confirm that if you are young you may not feel any difference. I am 47 and man its been 3 days and i feel young with truniagen. I take one early morning in empty stomach. This was recommended to my Dr with whom i am working on metabolic resent.

I have used, and am currently finishing off my supply of, Tru Niagen, and it appears to me that what you are largely paying for is fancy packaging and lots of marketing. It may work fine, but it is overpriced IMHO.
