It took 5 months to get one that actually works even though they were brand new :-( I have had the professional HD but relocated and it was left behind so decided to try the professional 600 not knowing it would take ordering three to get one that would work!!!
You can get smaller bowls for the artisan you can get a 3 quart bowl as well as 4.5 quart bold handle that quite often comes on some of the cheaper tilt heads that are simply not as powerful as the artisan. With the Tilthead mixers. The Beatles that came with your machine work perfectly fine with all three bolt sizes. I really don't think the three court bowl is necessary the 4.5 QT is perfectly sufficient as an extra bowl.

I'm looking into getting a Kitchen aid mixer, however, the reviews as of the last few years have been horrable. Hey Top flight, KitchenAid has removed the spring from ALL of their current mixers (including all new Artisans) The larger mixers do have issues mixing smaller amounts of ingredients compared to smaller mixers (unless you do get the combi-whip and 3qt mixing bowl). Would have been even better if you ran them through some actual operations. Though I've seen videos where one mixer looked better than another because of the way the person made the batch to fail and didn't do adjustments before using the stand mixer. Especially the dime push test and none of the paddles were the side scrape new paddles and then they complained about mix left on the sides they had to stop and scrape down from the bowl sides. Duh!
Everything Kitchens I didn’t realize you guys sold Maxis LOL! I thought you were just reviewing them. I actually ordered the professional 5 Series, 5 quart model, in their classic red, for wait for it… $200 with free shipping! But it was from their original site. They had a sale last week, which may still be going on actually. I think I might’ve preferred the tilt head, but looking at all the specs, this mixer is better than the artisan series in pretty much every other way.
No worries! Glad you got a good deal. Yes we have a website full of fun kitchen items :) We'll ship anything for free when you spend $49+. If you have any questions about your mixer you can call or chat with us on our website. Happy mixing!
This is the 2nd mixer video that I’ve watched that said the larger mixers are bad at small batches. Why? Is it because of the larger bowl shape? Does the whisk move slower? Is this just a myth that is being passed from person to person so Kitchenaid can sell more bowls?
Hey Rich, the larger bowls have a wider diameter compared to smaller bowls. Ingredients have more room to spread out with more surface area in the larger bowls. With smaller batches, the mixing tools have a harder time catching and mixing the ingredients compared to if those same ingredients were in a smaller bowl. Smaller bowls with a more narrow diameter have the ingredients come further up the mixing tools and side of the bowl, making it easier for the tools to reach and mix ingredients. I hope this helps!
@@EverythingKitchens But the whisks are also wider. If what you’re saying is that the larger style whisk don’t come into contact with the larger bowls as well, then that makes sense. But if the sizes are proportionally scaled up, it shouldn’t matter. UNLESS, what you’re saying is that the small mixers don’t make perfect contact with the bowl and the problem is magnified with a larger bowl. That’s probably what you’re saying. Sorry, I’m workshopping this issue as I’m typing. Thank you for your response.

There's only 2 of us so big batches aren't necessary and making a small batch just doesn't even reach to the bottom of the 6 qt bowl. It just sits in storage and that's sad.
Does anyone know why there aren't 500W models in Europe? I've been searching a lot and I can't find any retailer selling 350W+ models. In Portugal 🇵🇹 and Spain 🇪🇸, only the HD model reaches 500W
Isn't the 600 series the one that's unbearably loud? How loud is the HD in comparison? My kitchen is enclosed on 3 sides. No cookie is worth going deaf over.
LOL @ your cookie comment. The 7-quart KA and the KA Commercial mixer have a different motor, and those models are much quieter. But some of the others have a whiny, high-pitched sound. The Artisan seems OK. I just wish KA would make all of their attachments (whisk, paddle) in stainless steel as they do with the Commercial model.
@@DarthArachnious I don't think it would be too powerful from what I've seen. I've seen them reviewed in household kitchens and I haven't seen anything like that. Most people like them. The 7 quart one is the same as the 8 quart Commercial (except for the cord, and the attachments are coated, except for the whisk.) Both are very quiet. Also, I think the red one in the middle of the video (5 quart) is a regular-sounding type. But that one on the left might have the high-pitched, squealing whine to it. I have a 5 quart and I have no issue with the sound.

Carmen, the Pro 600 can do small batches, but the Pro HD will do better. You can get the combi 3qt bowl for the pro 600 to accommodate smaller batches. Learn more here: www.everythingkitchens.com/kitchenaid-combi-whip-kn3cw-html.html
Hi.. Everything Kitchen I’m debating to get 5 qt HD or pro 600. I’m planning to use it for making noodle. Which one is more durable? Does pro 600 has same features as 5Qt HD such as soft start, speed sensor and motor protection? Thank you in advance
Thanks for this info. Please share where to buy the standard kitchen aid pro HD online? Thanks again
Here is the Pro HD mixers we have in stock: evkitch.com/2Z6wX2x they are factory refurbished.

🙏😘😍
I bought a Sam’s club’s Professional 5 plus (KP25M0XMC) model and now I can’t find a flex edge beater for it. Could you please help me with this?
Hi wsnf9596, this felx edge beater should fit the professional 500: evkitch.com/FlexEdge
Flex edge beater doesn't fit the HD narrow bowl design ..
It does for the 5 plus ( it has the normal bowl ?
That was an incredible review thank you so much!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video as I really wanted to know the difference between the three and it gaves a clear idea. Thanks alot.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. Thank you. Very helpful information!
Thank you so much for this video including all valuable info I needed! ✨
Are the gears for the Professional 600 steel or plastic/polymer?
The Pro 600 has steel gears. I hope this helps!
The artisan has a dc motor, the other 2 are ac. So apples and oranges, the 325 dc motor will hang with the other 2 all day long.
I wonder how it sounds like compared to the both of them !
Hey fromharry’sdiningtable, the pro 600 and HD mixer are around the same noise level. The Artisan is quieter because of the smaller motor.
Everything Kitchens thank you !
5qt and 7qt have the same bottom shape tho don't they? 7qt/6 is just taller
Your videos are fantastic, this is exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video
Great review! Answered most of my questions. 👍
Will the 5qt bowl fit on the 600?
Pam, it will not, the bowl is slimmer than the arms of the Pro 600. You can get the 3qt bowl for the Pro 600: evkitch.com/2R0NRKi
@@EverythingKitchens Thank you.
Thank you 😊! Great information
Duh!
Seriously, AWESOME review. You totally made up my mind for me, thanks!
Glad we could help! We'll ship your mixer for free: evkitch.com/2mAT0Ps
@@EverythingKitchens thanks! I will check out your site. I always need cool kitchen stuff!
I am happy with my artisan 5quart 325 watts
@@EverythingKitchens
But the whisks are also wider.
@@rich4501 the second scenerio does happen - the tools in any size mixer do not perfectly touch the bottom of the bowls. I made a crude paint drawing of what happens in the original comment I left to better help illustrate you can view here: cdn.everythingkitchens.com/media/wysiwyg/Mixer_Bowl_Comparison.png - The "grey arrows" represent the mxing tool. The more the mixing tool is covered, the better the ingredients will mix.
How much is the price of KitchenAid Professional HD one?
Marenea, as of 2-2-2020 the price is $199 but may change in the future. We are running out of stock and only have silver and pink HD mixers. Get them before they are gone: evkitch.com/2v48grR
Everything Kitchens hi is that the price on sale? It is currently $399 on the KA site and $359 on some other sites. I find it at the same price as the Artisan
Pls get rid of the loud music in the coming videos
I have the Professional 600 and ordered the 3 qt Combi bowl to make smaller batches but it didn't fit so I sent it back. I'm curious if anybody has had success with a smaller bowl for the Pro 600.
Thx!
Great review
Let me kno about sound it creat
Amtul, this mixer can be louder than the smaller Artisan mixer because the Pro HD has a larger motor.
@@EverythingKitchens thanks for information.can you suggest me any soundless mixer please
13 dozen cookies my FOOT! This is a joke, people, don’t believe them!
What’s wrong with your foot.
I saw the commercial one at a restuarant supply store. The grounded heavy duty orange plug made me think it's too powerful for my needs.
Hey Jas, The HD is just as loud as the Pro 600 when I tested them. With 200 watts more power in the motor, the HD will be louder than the Artisan.
Both use a AC motor . That is why they are load ..
Only the commercial series and mini have DC motor .
They are very very quiet
Too bad they're always out of stock

SOUND SYNC! 👎
I have a question ❓
I own the Professional HD 5qt KitchenAid.
I would like a Scraper Paddle. I have the burnished old fashion paddle that came with it. I have ordered 2 Paddled that said they would fit it, but they do not.
Can Someone Please help me find one. The Model number is:
KG25HOXER
I found KG25HOX
It does not work :(
Can anyone help me? Thank you!
Hey Lisa - you'll want the KFEW6L flex edge beater for your model which is supposed to fit 5qt and 6qt bowl lift models. You can see it here: www.everythingkitchens.com/kitchenaid-6qt-flex-edge-beater-kfew6l.html
For your model, KG25HOXER is the same as KG25HOX - - - the last two letters on the end of KitchenAid mixers designates the color - - - so ER means Empire Red and you have the KG25HOX model mixer.
