I put it off for 20 years. Husband insisted on a bowl lift. I dont bake much (I am mostly carnivore but family is not). I had a cheap tilt head but hated using it. Flour everywhere all the time and it wobbled on the counter. Looking forward to using my new bowl lift Christmas present. Great video!
@BrigitteBeckley my husband said I need the meat grinder. I definitely want the cheese and spiralizer too. I can give my plastic spiralizer on to someone else
I so love that I can turn on and grease the pan so it is ready, wash dishes, and/or clean up without babysitting ours. Also I put ours in a Dollar Tree cutting board to move around the ones that are flexible and used to be 2 in a pack they work well for me.
We have a kitchen aid but I use a handheld mixer. My daughter uses it for baking and my brother and my oldest son loves it for making pizza dough!!! My husband is still obsessed with our bread mixer!!! We have too many kitchen gadgets tho!!! I love hand kneading dough, but I’m the only one in the house that does!!! Maybe I should use our kitchen aid, I’m probably more old style in the kitchen!!! My husband made sausages with the attachment but it was my daughter that wanted us to get it for baking!!!
Hello and thank you or your review. Do you find it weak when kneading bread dough? I just got one and it really struggles with it. Not sure if its normal?
I feel like it does just fine. I keep the recipe single (so it makes 1-2 loaves). I make sure to not overfill it so it has space to knead. I hear it working for sure but I don't think it's too taxing on the motor. I hope that helps! What part of the world are you watching from? 🌎
@@BrigitteBeckley Alright. That helps a lot. We just purchased ours and with a small loaf it is struggling. I will send it back for an exchange. I am in Washington state. Thank you for the response!
Get in touch with the place where you bought it, or call KitchenAid. I hope you registered it online. I've read of someone else who had the same problem with the new mixer and the 1/2 speed.
Stand mixers are awesome. I don't have a kitchenaid but I do have another brand that comes with all the mixing attachments and not the mincer. Found it for $40 aud on facebook marketplace and it's beautiful and red.
I have the Pro 600 from QVC since I bought it in March of last year and since then, I haven’t had any problems making bread in it. Recently, I made another batch of pizza dough but I used another recipe and it’s in my freezer as we speak! I’m curious about the Costco 6 Qt Stand Mixer though! I’m developing the weird temptation of possibly getting this one too! But I already have a 4.5. Qt Tilt Head and I’m not trying to spend any more of my money on a Stand Mixer lol!
Haha I mean you probably only need one but it's up to you! 😁😃 I love making pizza dough and freezing it for a later date! Best way to make homemade nutritious dough that's easy!! What part of the world are you watching from CJ? 🌎
Now, I’m developing the weird urge to use my KitchenAid with the whisk on the custard mixture for bread pudding while I’m preparing the dry bread in the pan so it can already be prepared to pour after mixing.

If you limit it to light duty work it should last for years, maybe.
