Compared to Los Angeles it’s paradise. I grew up in Long Beach from the 1960’s - 1982 and it was a great place to grow up. However, it has become insanely expensive. The area this broadcast is being presented is where I grew up, my home was 1100 sqft and it’s now valued at $780,000. My parents paid $15,000 for the same house
I loved your video. I am a big fan of Long Beach. One correction. There are 7 golf courses in Long Beach. 5 are municipal and 2 are private. Here are some additional things I love about Long Beach. Long Beach has the number 2 and 12 ranked high schools in California in the California Academy of Mathematics and Science and the Eunice Sato Academy of Math & Science. There are also some other great high schools such as Ernest S. Mcbride Sr. High School, Wilson High School, Polytechnic High School, Millikan High School, and possibly Renaissance High School for the Arts. Although I am not as familiar with the Art school as I am with the others. Cal State Long Beach is ranked #64 in Top Public Schools in the United States by US News and World Report in 2022. The last 5 years have seen a huge increase in Rocket and Space Business around the Long Beach airport. Once the expansion of the 405 freeway to Orange County is complete in December 2023 commuting to jobs in Orange County and UC Irvine should be easy.
We live in the midcentury modern track Cliff May rancho houses (Rancho Estates) next to El Dorado Park! Bought during the recession for $500K. It's worth $1.3 million now. Insane! We're now getting influx of millennial millionaires.
@@TheBritishBlokeRealtor If a buyer wants a midcentury MODERN house (not merely midcentury) , these are the only affordable choice in the LBC. All the Paul Tay, Killingsworth, and the rare Soriano and Neutra houses start at least $2.5 to $3 million. 🤑
Awesome video! This October me and my partner are moving to LB, trying to gauge which neighborhoods are the safest in terms of crime. I’ve heard that gang violence can def be an issue there as well so trying to narrow down the safest neighborhoods. Super helpful vid!
I've been a long beach resident since 1990 and I'm still here if u wanna interview me through Instagram live or Facebook or zoom I'd be happy too. I know every detail about long beach life for decades
Living in Long Beach is extreme torture and agonizing pain. Too much crime and ghetto fast food workers. I’m forced to leave here. Once I get rich I’m moving to United Kingdom!!!!
@@TheBritishBlokeRealtor thank you ! I’m trying to save up my money so I can move to utah it’s more quiet out there, or maybe United Kingdom. But I’m really tired of Long Beach so I pray I can try to get out of here soon!!!!! Very interesting video by the way I enjoyed it if you want to interview me, I’ve been a Long Beach resident since 1990
