- Long Beach is a great Southern California city that has a little bit of everything to offer the visitor. The city features a busy shipping port, lots of great restaurants and tons of fun attractions. I always enjoy spending a weekend in Long Beach and just exploring the city to find new things to do. This video includes some of my favorite stops including the Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, The Attic and Hilltop Park. Let me know what your favorite spot is in Long Beach in the comments.

Glad your up their on your subs you have really good vids. Thanks
This summed up my fave places too. I really wanna go to Seabirds though
aye you visit my home town thanks for liking it
@@dontkillmyvibe1433 I want to try >Seabirds< tomorrow for Taco Tuesday. Do you think it's open yet?
I plan on going out to my old church on

That was my homeport on my ship
Uss New Jersey bb62
1984-86
I also recommend taking a walk down 2nd street if you're on a mood to do some spending or eating
Yepppp
Or Atlantic street on First Friday.
A lot of stores have closed or are closing now, it’s really depressing😭
Or down Pine for restaurants and shops.
100% one of the most fun things to do imo and I live there lol
As a long beach resident I would also recommend MOLAA (Museum of Latin American Art) It's free on Sundays.
Yeah that place sucks
x2
I did visit the MOLAA on a Sunday with my Family. It was interesting enough. But no repeat performance needed
thank you! I am new Long Beach resident and looking for things to do! thanks!
If you’re gonna recommend any event in Long Beach the Grand Prix of Long Beach is easily number 1
Would add Retro Row, Kayaking in Naples (Instead of the hydrobike), Aqua Link instead of the harbor cruise (its only 5 bux, most underrated thing to do in LB), Japanese Garden at CSULB, El Dorado Park, Joe Jost's , Rosie's Dog Beach, Brunch at Claires, Watch any game at Legends, Pho in Cambodia Town, LBX, Blind Donkey ( Sebs from LA LA Land) Yoga on the Bluff, Speakeasy at Exhibition Room or Fed Bar... could keep going.
Eric Daniel spot on!
Eric Daniel yes !!! Kayaking in Naples is awesome !! Also there is a $1 boat as well that goes around the marina
Joes Josts is a racist and trump supporter hang out spot
Horse back riding next to town center.
@@internetalex562 I'll make sure to frequent it more often... thanks.
Possibly moving too Long Beach as a travel nurse. This video has me getting excited
I love my city. Born and raised
i used to but now i hate it it’s being taken over by the homeless and you literally walk on needles if ur on the beach hurts like hell
I was born and raised in Long Beach (LBC) haven’t lived there now for many years it’s nothing like I remember it makes me sad that so many things I loved are no longer and so many new things thank god for my memories and pictures I miss the good old days of the LBC
You forgot to mention Friday's after 7 pm aquarium of the Pacific they have free entrance shark display and you can touch baby sharks and sting rays
Csulb Japanese garden!!
He really called it JUNE UH PARO hahahaha watching this makes me love My city even more !
I was born and raised in Long Beach and this video brought tears to my eyes😇🙏
Indeed! This video made me sad. I miss my hometown. I must go home to LBC❤️
The Long Beach Exchange, The Arts District, Long Beach Museum of Art, 4th Street Retro Row, definitely Cambodiatown are sure misses.
Jonah Coloma can’t agree more 🤣
Lmao Cambodia town? Idk if it’s a good idea to be sendin people to the east side😂😂😂it’s active over here
Cambodia town, Anaheim st. the Poly HS area is very hot n active of getting mugged n robbed on a good day lol I’m Khmer too so I can confirm
Hi...I am a Long Beach resident and imo you did a great job of highlighting fun stuff to do in our sweet little city.......Thanks
No trip to LOng Beach is complete without going to the original Yard House 🍺. One of my Favyspots is the Auld Dubliner Irish pub they got great fried Mac n cheese balls. Great video.
Dang, I didn't even know that the original Yardhouse was in Long Beach. That's a fun recommendation!
California Through My Lens I can still remember those yard long glasses they would serve beer in than they stopped cuz it was considered over pouring. I always stick to pints. 🍺.
The Auld has INCREDIBLE Fish n Chips. Holy moly I was blown away
Italionmex2015
Omg FRIED MAC$ cheese?????? Omg 😱😋
Skyler Felix one of the few places I know that has Kilkenny on Tap. 🍺 🍻.
Hi! I'm 22 years-old in Korea. And I'm a college student now. I visited Long Beach, CA when i was 16 years-old. I stayed Long Beach for a month. At that time, i was third grade in middle school student, and i went to study languages. About 7 years later, i still remember that time. It was really brilliant time in my life. So i was looking for a Long Beach downtown's video thinking about that time. I finally watched your RUclips.
Thank you for helping me recall those memories. Have a good day 🤍
I was born and raised in Long Beach but the beach is nothing like it use to be drug addict and homeless have taken over the beach so be careful and watch your feet.
Thats facts
Not sure how old you are but I too was raised in LB. And while it may look like its getting worse its actually way better and much safer than it was in the late 80s and early 90s. The downtown area was trash
The water is nasty because of the port.
Sara Cruze I’ve found syringes at the beach, it’s so scary to set foot in our beaches :(
Bro, theres bariely any homeless people and its also not dangerous, because there always people walking even at night
I am from Long Beach and one of my favourite things to do is ride a bike from the Belmont pier to shoreline village. I also love going to the attic because of the mac n cheese and the gumbo.
Oh yes the attic is super good
I'm born and raised in Anaheim, lived in long beach for 5 years. I just recently moved to Texas for about 7 months now and I'm trying to find anyway to move back to long beach. It's an amazing city.
All these places are making me home sick 😔❤
Lmk when u wanna visit lol 🌹
Born and raised in Anaheim my whole life. Just moved out to LB 5 months ago and love it!
Me too:(
Heyyyyy Long Beach stand up.. I❤️ my city😊❤️💯 The City by the sea huntee yesssssssss
This is the 3rd video I've seen with a big youtuber making a video in long beach lol. Long beach is a great city.
Long Beach resident here! What are the other ones?
@@robertoesquivel5370 I think like Shane dawson, faze rug, Logan paul
If you are a bum, gang member or a homosexual.
Im from Long Beach , and i agree with your 12 things to do ..Great Vid Josh !!
So awesome Ian, I didn't know you were from Long Beach!
I live in LB!! Its so beautiful!!
Born and raised in Long Beach from 63 -86, best part of Long Beach CA was moving; not only out of LB but out of California as well. See ya!!
such a beautiful place
2nd Street for Food and Shopping. Would disagree with Long Beach being a popular beach. Better to go 30 minutes south down to Huntington Beach. (We people from Long Beach know not to go to the beach in Long Beach). Also, a lot of those murals are in real rough neighborhoods so be careful.
Yeah, went to Huntington yesterday. The beach he mentioned is basically used to run, walk, bike etc.
That's true I was born and raised in Long Beach in NorthLong Beach That's a bad atea I was Burger lised My apartment was at work Took my gun and anything they got their hands on they came sweet times. At the time I didn't know it it was a drug area
It's been such a long time since we've been to the aquarium; this video just reinforces the fact that we need to go back!
Long Beach has also become unique - expanding its system of bike lanes & infrastructure thru the city. Making it safer for the cycling community. Great suggestions for places to visit too, I've been to many of them. Queen Mary is a good one, such a great experience being able to wander and explore the old ship.
My city Long Beach 💕💕💕
I agree with you on the recomendations! I live on Pine Ave. And theres a lot of good restaurants and bars for have a great time with friends or family!
Spent my study abroad semester in Long Beach, best 6 months of my life! Will definitely be back at some point! Greetings from Germany
I love Long beach
Aweee my city I’m so homesick this is amazing. Thank you so much.
Crystal Hinton just went there I wish I lived there for good. Or was from there lol
You're Beautiful
I lived in long beach for most of my life. This video is pretty good at telling newcomers on what to do here.
I recommend going to 2nd street. The street is literally like a mall on a street. Theres so much stuff there.
Nice to see a video about my city lol
Definitely forgot to mention 2nd st, location of Open Sesame and lots of other restaurant choices, snacks and ice cream , pubs, bars and shops
You did a smashing job, it was a beautiful look at the city , i call home 40 plus years . Thank you
This list is essentially the stuff I did when I first moved to LB and I try to knock some of these things out when we have guests visiting from out of state. Most of this stuff can be pretty cheap too if you do it right. Well done!
Long Beach born n raised💙💙💙
Good job exploring Long Beach
It may not be perfect, it has its negatives and positives but what other city doesn’t? I love Long Beach and don’t see myself living anywhere else, thanks for showcasing our lovely city by the beach 🏖🇺🇸❤️ ps. You should of also added Historic Pine Street for restaurants and nightclubs! Always a fun time after dark
I'ven been in most of the spots that you mention! I love Long Beach and for sure we will be visiting Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles and trying to find all the murals around! Thanks for the video!
My city, love your videos bro especially highway 395 keep it up 🤙🏻😁
Great shots of my hometown
I’m definitely excited to move here in a couple of weeks
Parkers Lighthouse I my Favorite restaurant in Long Beach, that's also in Shoreline Village. Downtown Long Beach is Really bustling with breweries and restaurants. Kings Fish house has stellar seafood. And at Xmas time, the ambiance is Awesome
Thanks for coming to my hometown.
One of my family's favorite restaurants is Casa Sanchez on Anaheim; it looks pretty run down, but the owners are friendly, the food is both cheap and delicious, and the portions are glorious. You can pick up an eight dollar burrito big enough for dinner and lunch tommorow, and the refried beans are to die for.
We also rather like the Belmount Brewery; a bit expensive, kinda upscale, but the drinks are good and the food is great.
Asian Chef on Attlantic is a popular Chinese restaurant; their food is quick, cheap, and cooked freshly to order; their house combo is particularly popular and one of my favorites.
The Fuji Revolving Sushi bar is exactly what it sounds like; it's very easy to rack up a big bill there, but the large selection of small dishes makes it easy to try out dozens of styles, and find a new favorite.
Poke and More is a smaller asian/hawiian restaurant on Carson with a great selection of interesting and unique dishes. Their Poke burrito is spectacular, and well worth the matching price.
If you want to eat delicious and legit Italian food, I would recommend La Parolaccia Osteria on Broadway, just after Temple Avenue on the left hand side. On 2nd street, Paradis has really good ice cream, and across the way, Angelo's Italian deli has good sandwiches and a small shop for Italian products.
I 🖤🤎 my city! Thanks for sharing!
I liked the aquarium, and those marina views were gorgeous.
Thanks for a great video, Long Beach is just old and beautiful and new and modern and artsy and fun fun for the whole entire family we spend lots of time there,, I live in Downey, my husband and I go there very very often. There's so many restaurantsall have amazing food I love ballast point, it's a great brewery , it's location is amazing... thanks for sharing..
Thanks for friendly introducing Long Beach. I could find missing palce i was there. You make me to visit again. Thank you again.
# 13 Belmont pier! Plenty of fishing action and one of the best views for the sunset
AWESOME!! Love these video's, going to do a Long Beach overnight adventure with the family and hit all of your spots. Catalina Video you uploaded a while ago is another 2-day adventure. I sure hope your making buck's on these video's and I love to see what fun options we have in CA!! Keep the video's coming!!
My husband and I got married on Junipero Beach two years ago this month ♥️ Love the video!
I love your videos I live in Cali and I’ve learned about so many places i didn’t even know of thanks to your channel...
I’m from Long Beach this makes me wanna go back !
I have lived in California my whole life and I have never gone to Long Beach I don’t know why it looks like a cool place to go thank you to you both and be checking out the Queen Mary this summer👋👍
Long Beach Museum of Art and lunch at Claire’s at the museum overlooking the water.
Definitely!!
Dude! Beachwood BBQ on 3rd and promenade....off Pine by Hamburger Marys (also great). Or Pho Haung Phat is AMAZING for Pho off Anaheim and Redondo
jup1828 🙌🏽
Would you say that’s the best pho in LB??? There’s a handful of places... Pho America, Long Beach Pho, Cyclo noodles, 123 pho
@@skylerfelix7609 100% BEST IN LB! I have eaten those other Pho places, and they are solid in flavor and prices are average across the board, but something about the little devil details is what makes Pho Hong Phat amazing. The chili paste/sauce alone gives a gentle kicked that no other place comes close too. The pastry breads they have are buttery goodness. And most of the other Pho places offer more than just Pho, menus that almost stretch a little thin...but P.H.P keeps it simple and makes it brilliant. Brother. Meat. Noodles. Sooooo amazing.
Facts, pho haunt phat is the best place in Long Beach
Some good ideas when I head down that way for my honeymoon this fall. Quality content as always!
NAPLES, BELMONT SHORE AND HEIGHTS, ALAMITOS BEACH, BLUFF PARK, CALIF HEIGHTS, BIXBY KNOLLS, RANCHO ESTATES ARE MY FAVORITE NEIGHBORHOODS IN LONG BEACH, California.
Love my city, born and raised!! Now living in Bristow Virginia for 10 years.
Love my city and you left out the Cinemark theater that’s right by the pike outlet
I live in long beach . So beautiful but the city need to take care of homeless people and parking ..... thank you
I know right, I used to live around long beach until I move. There is a bunch of homeless people and I mean a bunch. And some of the places have tight corners which makes parking a pain in the butt. Other then then it's a really nice city.
Mj hard Exactly, it’s gotten worse, the homeless population has doubled because I’ve never seen this many homeless in our city
I live in Long Beach CA too ☺️
Gentrification would do that. Makes you numb to the homeless crisis plus California had stupid crime laws that virtually makes breaking into a car a misdemeanor and homeless people don't even get charged for these crimes. Crime is extremely under reported in long beach especially at the beach.
No thank you..lol
I’ve lived in Long Beach for almost two years and have never even heard of a lot of the things in this list! Will definitely need to check out some of these recommendations.
I used to live in Belmont Shore. Best years of my life
Thanks for that wonderful video. May Hod bless you
Love this!!!
Long Beach Marina is my favorite!
Forsure going to check out that Hilltop Park!! Miss you guys!!
Sublime!
Snoop Dogg
Lovely Long Beach.
Really enjoy your travel videos. Well made, informative and helpful, and best of all, no annoying content provider "personality." I just subscribed :)
Awesome! Just to share, shoreline park is my fave weekend spot! 😁
It's a great spot to just hang out for sure!
Long Beach native - I will never move away. You forgot Joe Joust; visit Long Beach Creamery. You should visit SuperMex around the block from the chicken place. Open Sesame is a great place... try scooter or later in Belmont Shore.
Scooner or later👍
Facts! Joe josts should’ve made the cut
Supermex sucks, not authentic mexican food
Long Beach is the best place to live
Great review. We'll have to check them out when we are in the area.
Thanks for the food recs!
I live in Long Beach and this is a solid list.
I have been to Long Beach several times as I have family there. I haven’t taken a harbour cruise but was on an aqualink taxi . Most of the places that you have mentioned I have been and a few I will have to visit during my next trip.
Coffee cup cafe has the best breakfast in LB. Great video

This is my city
Born in Long Beach but raised in Oxnard
Great recommendations for food!
My tip to Long Beach I stopped at this mom and pop restaurant. I can't remember the name but their tacos were the best I've had in a long time! Long Beach was a fun place and I plan on going back and staying at the Queen Mary soon
so pretty place
Ha ha thank you so much 😊 I am planning for a quick photo shoot trip to Long Beach this week and this video is spot on great 👍 tips
Good video 👍🏾. Other great spots shore line Village.. 🤗
The Adventure Stop is a regular @ Pho Hong Phat in Long Beach at Anaheim St & Redondo Ave!
Great video! Keep it up
Nice video! Made me homesick. Born at NAS Lemoore, but raised in Long Beach. Navy brat here. I have stayed put since covid and other health issue. I miss my hometown so much. Even though I live in San Diego.. which is nice...but Long Beach
has the small city by the beach vibe, quaint, and also very diverse. My spots to eat are Roscoes and Super Mex on 2nd St. When I feel better....I'm going home to my beloved town ❤️
I love Open Sesame, but my favorite restaurant is just down the street. Rance's Chicago Pizza. It has the authentic deep dish pizza from Chicago. There's other stuff too but why go there and not get the amazing Chicago pizza?!
Long Beach is my hometown
I live in the signal hill part of long beach and I have been to the aquarium for a field trip I had at school. I am gonna try more of these out
