Back To The Future: Time Warp sounds so cool. I hope Universal decides to bring this rollercoaster idea BACK. I am a huge Back To The Future fan myself, and this sounds way too cool of a ride, if they also add in some modern day technology
I still hope Universal will build a park in Europe some day. thats the only thing I miss here in Europe. I went to universal Orlando 2 years ago and i really liked it. its something completely else compared to the Disney parks.
It's still crazy to me that they never tried again, it's a shame everyone seems to be focused on Asian expansions lately because I feel a Euroversal park could still work if it's the right park in the right area! - Luke
@@ReviewTyme so do I. I propose Spain as first option. Spain was proposed for the actual Disneyland Paris as first place but our the incompetent governments stop it with stupid excuses. My country as 2 nd tourist destination in the world would be perfect. Our weather, food, culture, airports and trains offers a good business to create it here. It is only my opinion but I think many think the same
I would love to see this revived and updated for someplace else. Swap cartoonland for Nintendo, and TVland for a Universal Studios area or Universal Monsters area. Maybe at Hawaii, Dubai, or elsewhere in Europe
Hawaii? No, its an island with limited resources. Texas, England, the Philippines, and South Korea could use an international resort. All their parks are tailored to regional guests.
Yeah still pissed that Universal didn't make it to Germany.... it would have blown out everything and would have been so close to my town. Imagining HHN in Germany
I think it’s best that way, because universal would have had a similar problem with Disney if their European park was built. The only 2 profitable markets for them are the United States and Asia
The Casper Dark Ride is an interesting concept! I wish they could revisit something similar to a ghost themed dark ride for Orlando as they could really use a ride in that genre.
I wish Universal would build this park instead of Epic Universe, this looks so much better. The King Kong roller Coaster looks like it would be difficult to actually build, but very cool.
If Europe would have a Universal park, it would be amazing for us Europeans. We'd have a great Universal park, and Disney and Universal would probably constantly try to one-up eachother like they're doing in Florida, which would add amazing attractions to both parks.
Little fun fact here: In Phantasialand (Cologne) there is a ride called: „Hollywoodtour“, which takes you through scenes from iconic movies including an animatronic of king kong. Although this park never got build there is a small-sized glimpse what could have been :)
There is a rumor that Universal Studios might open there park by 2030 and they will have it in the town of Bedford and might have plans to rebuy PortAventura
I’ve been to universal Singapore and universal Hollywood and those parks are great. But we were going to see a universal here in Australia and I was devastated to here it was canceled
Hey Yocelio, whilst this ride would have shared some similarities with Incredible Hulk, this ride would have featured a different layout and be themed to Back to the Future! - Luke
I think this project should be revived along with Universal Studios Dubailand because they seem like pretty ambitious theme park experiences! The new parks would include a Jurassic Park section with Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure and other Jurassic Park themed rides, a King Kong dueling roller coaster, an Apollo 11 roller coaster, a Back to the Future roller coaster, a clone of Jaws: The Ride, a clone of the ET Adventure dark ride, Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride, a Wizarding World of Harry Potter mini-land, the Waterworld Sea War stunt show, a Terminator roller coaster, and other cool stuff! I also want Six Flags Dubai fully revived in the 2020’s along with a Universal Studios Dubai also in the 2020’s!
This is AWESOME. You finally did the video :D I think this Theme park would've succeeded if they just didn't have cold feet. If they were to built it near or next door to Universal PortAventura. Then it would become such an awesome park. With ride like Jurassic Park, BTTF, and Kong along with a Jaws Ride that would complete it. :) Sad that it wasn't built. But this is the first time i heard of a universal water park. But a citywalk I kinda knew with a resort hotel.
When you sent the link a few months ago I instantly bookmarked it to get back to. Thanks for the idea, it was a great park to explore the history of, such a shame it never came to be! - Luke
I still don’t get why so many major theme parks avoid Europe or places like Australia. Universal already has japan and Singapore and Disney is in Tokyo and Hong Kong. It feels like the Asian market is becoming oversaturated with parks and other parts of the world are being neglected where there is potential.
Spain would be logical with the weather, but I'd say Germany is more central. People from Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Poland,... would be in a decent distance from the park and would be able to visit. Though Spain has a lot of tourists already that could make the park popular.
Opening the park in Germany would be a really dumb decision. Just like opening EuroDisney in Paris was. If you want a theme park that runs for as much of the year with as close to full capacity as possible, you need to place it in a country where the weather doesn't suck for at least half of the year. And countries like Germany and France suffer from that problem. Both Disney and Universal would be smarter to open their parks in southern european countries like Portugal, Spain, Italy or Greece. Not to mention wages in those countries are far lower than in Germany and France.
I watched an interview where they basically said how much they regret not to have built Disney in Barcelona instead of Paris. In my opinion Universal should come back to PortAventura. They were doing a great job with the resort...
Hey John, sorry it wasn't super clear in the video but this park was cancelled after the NBC merger in 2004, so by then USJ had already opened a few years earlier, which is what I meant by Singapore being the only one :) - Luke
Sorry I didn't make it a bit clearer in the video, the park wasn't officially cancelled until the NBC merger which was finalised in 2004, a few years after Universal Studios Japan opened :) - Luke

Euro Disney was a financial disaster for Disney that they still haven’t recovered from, even three years after this video. Especially after CoVid, I’m sure the suits at Universal are breathing their sigh of relief.
Awesome video! I’ve always wondered on as to whether or not Universal have ever considered going into Europe in the past. Do you think you could do a video on Universal Studios Beijing? I’ve known about it but haven’t really heard much on as to what’s inside etc
We actual have plans to visit Universal Beijing for it's opening next year, but we might do a video on what to expect once construction gets a little further along! - Luke
Wow didn't know that! Interesting, thank you for sharing! We love Universal at Hollywood once a year. Wish European people can have it! It can beat Disneyland competition. Really wondering why they don't go to Europe 😉😏
I honestly think DLP should get the licence for a universal studios park. DLP has always struggled and needs to draw more and is always compared less favourably to Orlando. Instead of a Disney 3rd park or water park an onsite US park with Harry Potter etc would be way more bank for them. Though not with short term rides like this sea quest one ...
Give us UK-versal . As far as I know there building a large park near Kent in the UK that was paramount but they pulled the paramount name . Universal should swoop in and claim that
Paramount is back on board with the London Resort project, with their products being licensed for the park again. Though if they fall through it would be great to see Universal in their place instead! - Luke
@@ReviewTyme thanks for the reply man . Happy to hear that . Can't wait to see what they've got to offer us .Such a shame that New Line Cinema bought the rights to it because I would have loved a Friday the 13th ride .
I think there's just too much competition from other great themeparks in Europe that are WAY cheaper than Dinsey or Universal. Even today Disneyland Paris is the least profitable one out of all the Disney parks because most Europeans don't want to pay 2000 dollars for 3 days when you can get a park with the same level of theming and even more rides for like 10-50 bucks. If Universal wanted to compete in the European market they would need a park AT LEAST as big as say Disneyland with same amount of rides, etc... why else bother to go there when you have other theme parks just a short drive away
Yeaah im not a fan of ground up parks from American company's. We have enough good parks here that deserve a chance to grow. Like, Phantasialand, Efteling and even a small park ass Toverland.
