The best interpretation of this piece that I have ever heard. I have yet to hear someone bring out the single solitary note as well as he does. The note that is so beautifully optimistic but sad. The note that is the heart and sole of the piece. I have yet to hear better.
well don't get me wrong. Gilels has done a good job on this one but I think it's a bit slack if you compare it to Horowitz who seems to bring out the deepest parts of his soul with every note he plays.
