thankyou matey, it was a great video to watch, liked the length too of vid, enjoyed sitting back watching on tv with a coffee 🙂also with everyone struggling with prices these days, and myself! 😂i am definitely going for the bread feeder , cheap and effective, also good for winter i guess, but scaled down a tad. its not only impressed me with the tactics you kindly shared on this video, but am thinking of how versatile the bread can be used so many techniques, summer, winter, spring, winter, completely all year round......and cheap....most important effective....big thanks buddy!!!
Thank you for your method feeder tips. Being severe sight impaired I use the method feedder all the time. With alarm set up Learning lots from your video. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Tight lines
also with this method, flavours with different branded goos etc, would soak into the bread brilliantly, and a white dumbell would be great to use in the method feeder, and and orange, yellow etc would stand out a mile against the white of the bread.sorry to comment twice, but so versatile, very impressed, looking forward to having a go with this next week, thanks again matey!!!
Don’t think there’s anything better than bread for bringing in fish to the swim. Almost instantaneous. I’ve seen other anglers on RUclips sticking bread in the oven and grinding and sieving the crumb. Don’t bother, like you do just a blitz in the blender and it’s perfect. Soft ,fluffy and with a bit of texture.
Awesome buddy .. I use a lot of bread .. I mix a bit of ground bait in to as well ..shame that hook in carp .. great you treated it buddy .. nice 1 on the flying fish .. some are so wild lol … great vid .. the last cast is always funny well just one more lol …. cheers Chris & Sam
@@fishchipsandmushypeas makes things so much easier Rich ! There are quite a few good ones, go outdoors have a few good semi hard rod cases for under £30. For my longer made up rods I have a saber hold-all
Another cracking video, thank you. Very clear and professionally presented. I am defo going to try the cheep and cheerful liquidized bread and flake. Sorry to ask another question, but I am trying to get the right kit to start angling properly. In the video you have a rod hold-all / carrier on the floor that looks like it holds a couple of rods with reals made up, but the rods are broken down into sections (rods not stored put together). I am looking to get one like it so it’s easy to carry rods but doesn’t take up too much room in the car. Can you please let me know which one you use / recommend? Cheers, John.
Hi John ! Thanks buddy! Bread is great on the method feeder (probably better than pellets) I have a couple depends on the size of your rods, you want a semi stiff hardcase my favourite is a Preston Supera holdall they do different sizes for different rod lengths so take care when buying. 👍🏻
Sprinkle a bit of Garlic salt on some bread and keep it as a alternative to plain bread,I have found Garlic very effective on a method or gripper feeder.👍🦉
Great video again mate. You’re not getting a Preston sponsor, can’t understand how they are coming off. I use the ICS feeders just so I can fish straight out of the bag. Never had that happen………….famous last words 😂😂😂 keep up the great work.
Hahaha ! No I probably won’t Lee ! They should make better method feeders 😉 it only seems to be on really violent takes on the odd occasion I put that tail rubber on tight too . Crazy ! I do like the ICS system though. Well fingers crossed you don’t lose any at £3.50 a go 😂 costs me more than the day tickets in feeders ! Thanks for commenting !
i like all your vids because i'm local to most of the waters you feature. One question, iv'e never fished Harry's what does it fish like say September onwards?
Usually consistently good buddy. Always fish with the wind blowing into you . They massively follow it. You are pretty much guaranteed to catch something year round . Be careful of the middle it’s snaggy. I’m due to post a video Saturday filmed at Harry’s 👌🏻👍🏻
Not many commercial fisherys where we live will let you use any form/ method of using bread, some owners say it turns the water sour, causes bad bacteria in the water.🤔🦉
@@WestysAngling My mate fishes popped up bread ( got to be Fresh Warburtons Green cover) hes brilliant at it the bites/sucks are just a couple of delicate taps on the tip, very rarely anything else, defo no savage takes. Some great fish.👍🦉

Thank you for commenting Brian ! That’s great, I definitely prefer longer videos like this too! Yes hell of a lot cheaper than ground bait 🤑
Great video again would love to see a video with the small bomb with a pva mesh bag on the feeder
Thanks for a great video .
Shivering on a cold November morning so catching up your back catalogue, looking forward to your cold water fishing sessions.

Super mooie video ga het zelf ook eens proberen met brood of maisbrood
The last time I used bread 🍞,on feeder ,and crum ,I had every seagull, duck 🦆,in Scotland in my swim 🥴
😂 love this !

Bread is still the king of baits. 👌
Another great vid mate, can i ask the make of the feeder you used, many thanks from a newbie angler that’s needs all the help I can get.
I use my own feeders available on my website now ! But these are small Preston innovations feeders in this video 👍🏻👌🏻
Great vid mate 👍
Im gonna av giv bread on the method a go now 😝

Quick question, are you using a GoPro with an external mic?
Hi Rich , thanks! I use a Panasonic slr and an unadapted go pro hero 9 ! I just do a lot of audio work in post production 👍🏻👌🏻

Alright ace. What groundbait bag do you use ?
I find three 10mm punched bread on hair works well !
Just a question? May I assume this only works with fresh bread?
Fresh bread is much better 👌🏻
Try wrapping feed around bomb and fish a slack line my opinion is I c s bombs are crap unless stem is very short
Just wondering what make is your green groundbait bucket or where did you get it looking for something similar myself
Korum eva Groundbait and riddle set
Great video / never tried bread !! Good idea. How long do you time your casts with it?
Every 5/10 minutes! Breaks down a little faster than conventional ground bait 👌🏻

That would be great! See you around 👍🏻
Do u think adding additive adds to better fish on bank?
I think it does yes ! Korda pineapple goo is my favourite
And sweet rather than fishy lol

I like to cut my bread hookbait with scissors. I find there is a lot less waste and you can control the size of the bait much better.
Westy have you ever fished at broadfields fisheries near Worcester ?
No buddy not been down that far fishing ! Do you recommend it? I know there is some great fishing around Birmingham area though! 👌🏻
My local commercial bans bread and floating baits. Do you think this would work with cake instead, say a nice moist madiera cake?
A lot do Chris ! I imagine so, but with the price of the cake it defeats the object you may aswell use Groundbait 👍🏻🎣
My local commercial also bans bread, but they are happy to sell me more expensive bait from their onsite shop!!!!!
@@newsmonger77 thanks mate, but what do you think about cake? Yay or nay?
@@chrisbaddeley5766 don't think it will stay on the hook. Breaks up too easily.
@@newsmonger77 I'm planning on using corn or Spam on the hook, with cake or some kind of breadcrumb substitute in the feeder.
What’s your rod butt setup called?
The rod but rests are ‘Preston Gripper’

Can you tell me how much it costs to fish on this lake?
I’m not sure I haven’t been in a while they put the prices up to £16 for two rods
