I like how you explain the tool needs to be perpendicular to the rim face. It’s basic mechanics but I’ve seen a lot of complaints on the beadbuster, bending or gouging the rim. The way you set it up, is the proper way. Good Job !
Super helpful tips on how to break the bead on my stubborn suv wheel. Couldn't get it to "pop". I'll need to have a spacer of some sort to hold it and then try another section of the wheel.
Yes. Often the bead will not "pop" after applying the tool just once. It's best to apply the tool several times, moving the tool over a few inches each time.
