- The EDSA Carousel bus service will continue with operations during Holy Week.
In this video, you can get an idea of what it's like to ride on the EDSA Busway.
Later in the video, you can see the ongoing construction of new footbridges, which bypass the MRT stations, as well as a new station, which is set to include an elevator - for PWDs, senior citizens and others with mobility difficulties.
I love riding the bus especially in the Philippines. Less stress.
If only the entire bus system in metro manila is like this.
A lot of people have been hoping for something like this on Commonwealth.
Maybe they're hesitant to do it, because of the MRT-7.
But I still hope we could see something like this on Commonwealth in the future.
or maybe a QC circle to Morayta (or even Taft) line via Quezon Ave. and Espana since there's no LRT/MRT yet
@@GadgetAddict agreed. This needs to be in commonwealth, maybe they could do this once the mrt's done.
Yes, in London, which is about 2 1/2 times as big as Manila there are over 200.
Its a good thing that every one who passes through edsa has realize the 5k😂
Unfortunately there's a lot of cars and motorcycles in the bus lane again :(
And some parts of the busway were even opened up to private vehicles. Hopefully that wouldn't be a continuing trend.
@@GadgetAddictAbout the timer at the bus stops. Will there be some consideration for senior citizens who can't get on and off as quickly?
No more Stress for Bus riders if it's the situation everyday in EDSA. 👍👍👍
Wow I havent seen any bus lane violators!
It would be nice to see a rush hour version of this video
Wow that last bus was squeaky lol
The walk up to and from Guadalupe's bus station is terrible. It's farfetched but we need at-grade crossings to make this even better ( and more accessible) , no wonder people choose to jaywalk.
I'm excited with the busway concourse project of SM.
Based on what they've said, it's going to be pretty amazing. And that does include Megamall.
Stations need elevators and escalators working.
The problem is the way to the bus they need to fix that
You mean interconnectivity between the bus and other forms of public, for the "last mile" ?
That's one of the big focuses for the coming years - not just for the busway, but interconnectivity in general.
There's a long way to go, but I'm hopeful.
This is how it should be for mass commuters. The ease of travel is badly needed as it requires extra 3-4 hours of just to travel to and from work.
It’s very strange to see an Edsa video without witnessing a bus lane violation. 🤣 This is not the norm.
Maybe in your family it's not the norm. 😂
Yo the 2nd bus stop you stop is near my house😮
smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth operatoooooooooooor
I love it at @1:47 so much like Japans train station so insync but offcourse we are from it but we cna start somewhere as always.
ang luwag hindi ma traffic
For kamote drivers, 5k is a death threat. It could kill their wallets.
Why are the barricades not consistent? If barricades are placed then the opportunity for cars and motorcycles is not there.
There are openings for emergency vehicles to get in and out of the bus lane.
And there are no barriers on flyovers and tunnels, for safety reasons.
Even all BRT busway around the world were not consistently barricaded for some reasons
will there ever be a BONI bus stop?
I guess not there's a mrt stn at boni
