@@kevinschulz9770 We can digest cellulose as well as we can digest sand. AKA we can't. We aren't herbivores to whom cellulose is a source of fat in their diet, fat which makes up 60-70% of their diet in fact. All herbivores can digest cellulose. Humans can't. So what benefit is there to eating it? No microorganism in our digestive tract can even use it as food. It is called 'insoluble fibre' for a reason.

I stopped eating vegetables and fruit about three months ago. I had been suffering from constipation for decades. I believed the mainstream view. The more constipated, the more fiber I had, and even more constipation and piles because of the bulk going through my system every day. I had terrible wind, which meant I was farting all the time, especially in bed, which wasn't really a problem because I am single (probably the reason why I am single, but that's another issue). I explored RUclips for advice about constipation and slowly began to realize I had been bullshitted all my life. So now I eat more meat and fat and every day I have 500ml of Biotiful kefir drink. My gut is really good, no bloating, no farting in bed (which I kind of miss, but I guess I can't have it all), and of course, virtually no constipation. I had to cut out eating lumps of cheddar cheese, which proved to be a trigger but that's it. Now my life is a lot better. So, thanks for putting these videos up, I have enjoyed and have learnt from all the content.

Hi Lee. After having Ulcerative colitis for 25 years i had to have a full Proctocolectomy. Ive had to have 4 ops on my stoma and waiting on my 5th. I saw a new specialist to deal with the problems and he said dont eat fiber! When i had my first op i was to eat fiber and i think this is why ive had to have so many ops. Ive been in so much pain as ive got so much scare tissue and my small intestine cant cope. Ive now switch over to carnivore and everything is so much better. First few weeks were hard as im a sugar/ chocolate junky, but it gets easier. I just wanted to thank you for all your hard week and its so good to finally find someone with my set of issues who i can relate too. Thank you Lee. This is another nutrition myth. My experience: as far as I know my gut is healthy and for years I tried to eat foods with lots of fiber. My digestion was very regular, once a day, every morning producing the end results. Let me rephrase: every morning, after my morning coffee and feeding the cats, I had to run with cramps to the toilet to produce a large, soft heap and I thought it was normal 😁. Now I eat low carb with lots of fat meat, eggs, butter, no grains and just a small amount of plant stuff. My stool is much less voluminous and not regular, but no more cramps and no constipation. I'm definitely out of the fiber club.

Pub med says otherwise are they mistaken ?
      From Pub Med .
The difference in gut microbiota composition between individuals following vegan or vegetarian diets and those following omnivorous diets is well documented. A plant-based diet appears to be beneficial for human health by promoting the development of more diverse and stable microbial systems. Additionally, vegans and vegetarians have significantly higher counts of certain Bacteroidetes-related operational taxonomic units compared to omnivores. Fibers (that is, non-digestible carbohydrates, found exclusively in plants) most consistently increase lactic acid bacteria, such as Ruminococcus, E. rectale, and Roseburia, and reduce Clostridium and Enterococcus species. Polyphenols, also abundant in plant foods, increase Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus, which provide anti-pathogenic and anti-inflammatory effects and cardiovascular protection. High fiber intake also encourages the growth of species that ferment fiber into metabolites as short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), including acetate, propionate, and butyrate. The positive health effects of SCFAs are myriad, including improved immunity against pathogens, blood-brain barrier integrity, provision of energy substrates, and regulation of critical functions of the intestine. In conclusion, the available literature suggests that a vegetarian/vegan diet is effective in promoting a diverse ecosystem of beneficial bacteria to support both human gut microbiome and overall health. This review will focus on effects of different diets and nutrient contents, particularly plant-based diets, on the gut microbiota composition and production of microbial metabolites affecting the host health.

Thanks again, Kent! Just saw your interview with Ken. It was DYNAMIC! You were confident, poised, spoke clearly, articulately. No wasted space or unnecessary words. Very educational the more I hear about your personal experiences. You reached 70k people with that single interview. At LEAST 1 - 2k are standard dieters looking for answers, and perhaps another few hundred are people with the same symptoms who may still have a chance to reverse it, and a few others who after surgery are still looking for answers. You're changing lives, and this is just a small token of my appreciation for the (very) hard work your doing.
I hope to see you making a living from YT soon. You deserve it. You just have to put up the business channels to make it viable. Who knows, pretty soon you'll be able to retire from window cleaning and be a strong voice of authority in this space - if not one of the best because...no one else out there (I know of) can speak from absolute experience, cause and effect, before and after. Keep pushing!
P.S. Call me vain but...I kept rewinding the quote you mentioned at LEAST 15x lol. I did the fist pump in the air and everything lol! It just sums up nicely what it is - "It's NOT anecdotal. It's NOT a study. It's REALITY!" and that reality is a painful truth for those of us who have been lied to our entire lives about our natural dietary state.

I work as a medical Interpreter and I see multiple cases of people with constipation every single day going to the ER because they are in horrible pain and what the doctors usually prescribe is miralax or senna that have lots of fiber and that actually makes the problem worse in the long run and i am now very inclined to think that my gut problems are because of eating vegetables and fiber all the time so i will be transitioning to the carvivore diet as soon as tomorrow to see how things get with my gut health. In 1999, my dear husband was diagnosed with rectal cancer at 44 years of age. Because of the placement of the tumor, the surgeon could not save enough tissue to reconnect the rectum to the colon. So he had a colostomy bag for the last 3 years of his life. Sometime after having the colostomy, his sister sent him a couple bottles of Juice Plus trying to help him. Thinking it would be healthy for him he started taking the capsules everyday. My poor husband ended up in so much intestinal pain. The Hospice nurse told him to stop taking them. Before that episode, we ate some fresh corn on the cob. Again, he was in so much intestinal pain. Whereas before the colostomy, he could eat corn on the cob without a problem. I have just transitioned myself to mostly carnivore, eating some fruits still, but no veggies. I am hoping it will help with my Hashimoto’s and allergies. Thank you for the information in this video!

I know, right?! I’ve actually commented on some of their videos and one of them ( I shan’t mention her name) told me she had to use sponsors to be able to give us free content. I was going to point out that she’s a successful author, charges a fortune for her retreats and maybe she could forego the promotion of the same thing they all seem to be promoting, and which you can make yourself at home, but I couldn’t be bothered. It’s very disappointing and makes me see them in a different light.

My mom had diverticulitis and at age 34-35 I started having symptoms that reminded me of what she had before she got sick. I searched for a dietary cure for the pain + inflammation and stumbled onto the carnivore diet.
Fiber just rips my system up. I have a mast cell disorder so I was taking cromolyn 4x a day. Beef, fish, eggs, and butter made the symptoms disappear so much that I no longer needed that med which is awesome since it’s so expensive. My skin cleared up too and as long as I stick to the basics the pain and digestive issues are no longer a problem.
My primary doc is on board but wants to do a full physical next month which will be 6 months on carnivore.

What more proof do you need than when you have your intestines removed and they tell you to do a "bowel rest" to consume a low, residue diet devoid of anything "aggravating" like whole grains ,seeds , nuts etc. Keep up the good work!

The general argument for fiber that I've seen is to prevent diverticulitis. The known cause of diverticulitis is believed to be inflammation and the main contributors to inflammation are plant based foods. It stands to reason that if you don't eat foods that cause inflammation (ie: plants) your chances of developing diverticulitis and correspondingly, your need for fiber is negligible to non-existent. Great video. Thanks

My diverticulitis was caused by Covid. I’ve had it twice, now, directly after (or during) a bout of covid. So I looked it up and a virus can cause it. My gastroenterologist said fibre makes it worse, scours the gut, so no more fibre for me. And I pray I don’t get covid again. If I do, at least I’ll be better prepared.

I was on an organic heavily plant based diet in my late 20's and got a colonic polyp the size of an adult thumb. When i was being prepped for my colonoscopy i was told the only things i could eat were pork, skinless chicken and milk.
When i asked why i couldn't eat vegetables the surgeon told me because they would gunk up my colon and he wouldn't be able to see what he was doing properly because the gunk would line the villi and make spotting anomalies too hard, making the procedure a waste of time.
People doing colonoscopies know vegetables rot in your colon yet tell you to eat vegetables and tell you meat rots in your colon.
    Why would they do this?

I also have an ileostomy, and it's been a really awesome education on digestion having no colon bc I can see what stage of digestion my food would have been if it was able to continue thru the colon instead of my bag! 🤓
Meat makes very little output and is basically a liquid before it would get to the ileocecal valve.
However, fruit fiber (well, soft fruits, no skin) is way different than other fibers, at least in my gut, and seems ok-er than other forms, often acting like a beneficial sweeper, if that makes sense.
