Dalglish truly was a world-class player, especially in this phase of his career.

Cracking video. This one Reds game from the eighties that I can’t remember seeing before. Those Dalglish goals were superb.

Blimey. Roker Park. Now that was a football ground. Tremendous noise back in the day. Chosen for the 66 World Cup.

That first goal nutmegging Siddell, how can you not save that, it's straight at you Barry, just move one foot.

Do you think, just once, you could make a comment that's positive? Everything you ever write is negative.

2 stick out for me - his debut in the Arsenal marathon FA Cup defeat in 1980 and then scoring for both teams when we clinched the title with a 4-1 v Villa 48 hours later.

Such a relief that the back pass law changed.

Love the way Roger Tames turns into John Helm during the 2nd half! LOL!

Sorry about that! I've got a video with part of the Tyne Tees coverage (with Roger Tames) and part of the Yorkshire TV coverage (with John Helm), and then a full version of shorter highlights from Match Time Revisited (which used the Roger Tames commentary). I stitched them together the best I could to include all the footage from the 3 sources.
