Although pixel peeping comparison showed not much of a difference I would definitely go for sigma! This lenses produces more pleasing less busy images. IMHO obviously
Greetings 👋 what about the eye af from the Sigma? The Sony is very accurate…. I decided against the Sigma 24-70 art ii cause of eye af and Zooms aren't my choice as well. Will stay with primes for this time.
@@danielw.3888 it works fine in most cases, at least from my night pov street photo walks. It sometimes struggles in low light situations. But in general there is no issues with different types of AF.
The Sony seems to render the scene to slightly warmer tones than the Sigma? I thought the bokeh and sharpness were a hairs breath better in the Sigma IMHO?
I cannot guarantee this because I performed the test in variable external conditions but yes it looks slightly warmer and brighter. About the sharpness, it is IMO sharper.
small differences that aren't the biggest deal, but green fringing @3:32 is kinda bad. only see it when zoomed so its whatever but id rather have the Sony in most cases.
What would you choose? Sigma or Sony?

And you are definitely more than right 👌
Thanks for the video. I been debating between the Sony and Sigma.
I've been using Sony for almost 2 years but decided to switch to Sigma like a month ago. I'm very satisfied.
